  • A village girl heads out to pick some berries. What she did not expect to find was a hidden cave where deep within someone who looks human but is a demon is chained up. wearing holy cuffs which keep him from leaving the cave. Instead of being afraid, she visits him every day. But then one day her village is attacked, and she asks for his help. Freeing him by making a contract, though was this really the right course of action? Considering this was the first step in the prophesy of the demon king taking over the world.

    Your character is the demon.

  • While light magics (like holy magic and such) demons have much more trouble and are usually weaker with then darker magics. As well as have at least one weakness but other then that, nothing really.

  • Ah, ok, I get it now (also excuse me if I screw up explanations/put too many short posts/don't understand some words, as my autism occasionally makes it hard for me to understand things)

The day was warm, the smell of the sun, tree's and grass thick in the air of the forest. A cool breeze would brush past every time Lily walked into a tree's shadow, her dress and hair flowing with it. It was a bit before noon, when she and her family would eat. She was heading out to get some berries to have as a sweet treat after the meal. This time of year they were big, juicy and ripe.

Lily held her basket with both hands in front of her, starring down now and then at the emptiness of it, imagining for when it were to be full. It had her salivating at the thought. She really had a joy for sweet things. Her attention was grabbed away from the basket which she noticed a small rabbit. Awe, it is so cute.

In wonder if it was headed home to its own bunny family, she found herself following it. Going off the path and through the thick bush. A few leafs got in her hair and light scraped grazed her skin from a few sticking out branches but she was not bothered at all by these.

She was more interested in where the rabbit had led her, to a cave covered by overgrown vines. Lily was curious, having long forgotten of the berries as she headed into the cave. Darkness quick to surround her as she walked further in. To counter this, she grabbed an old unlit torch from a near by wall and lit it using skills she learned from her friend in the village.

Now having light to guide her so she did not trip on her own feet, she continued on. She began to wonder why she was doing something so stupid, surely their was no benefit and what if a wild animal rested here? Perhaps if she had turned back here, the encounter would have never happened.

But she pressed on and soon found herself at the end, where everything was lit by the low glow of magic stone's on the walls. While in the center against the wall there was someone chained to the wall. Her mouth fell a gap, unsure if she was seeing things right. Why was this person chained up here? Were they still alive?

The vines on the outside along with some things she noticed on the way here, was that this cave had not been stepped in for a long time. So it was a great wonder to see another here, a rather big shock. She couldn't think of what one could do or what reason why someone would be chained up like this in the middle of nowhere.

She walked closer, pausing just a bit away as she searched for signs of life, if she looked close enough, he seemed to be breathing. This made her feel relieved, though had another question growing. "Hello? Are you okay?" her soft voice had a faint echo to it as she examined him.

  • A low groan escaped his lips as he heard a voice from inside the cave... Ugh... Who is it this time...? He tiredly thought to himself as he managed to force open his emerald green eyes, looking up and around slowly...

I don't get it... I was sure that I heard... He looked up slowly and saw the girl standing there with her mouth open in shock. A... A human...? How long has it been? Good 500 years or so... He began to open his mouth to speak, but no words came out, his throat dry from thirst. He desperately need to be released, it had been far too long since he had been able to stretch his wings and fly, which where currently forced into his back by the chains, making his shoulder blades look swollen and scarred.

He tried to communicate again, but was once again met with silence, he just couldn't get the words out that he wanted, he closed his eyes again tiredly, another low groan escaping him as he once again began weakly pulling at the chains that kept him bound.

  • Even though she knew he was alive, she couldn't help but jump a bit when she saw his eye's open. Perhaps it was because he looked in such a bad state that it was rather shocking to see him able to do much of anything. Now that she thought a bit more on it, she wondered when the last time he ate, drank or even saw sunlight. She was unsure of his crimes or enemy's that landed him here, but she couldn't help but feel like you would seeing a caged animal off to the butchers.

Lily saw as he tried to speak to her, mouth open but no sound exiting. Her eye's widened a bit as she realized something as she blew out the torch and put it down. "Don't move! I'll be right back" she would want to his herself later for saying something as stupid as 'don't move' to a chained man later, but right now she was preoccupied with wanting to go get something.

She quickly left the cave, it was hard to say from another point of view if she would really come back. Plus their laid the possibility of telling someone that would make the situation worse. But as she appeared over 40 minutes later with a basket of berries and a small jug of water, it was clear what she had in mind. Even if this did nothing to aid his voice so her curiosity could be quenched, she was happy enough giving the necessities of any normal human. She felt he must be starving as well as very thirsty, he had to have at least been here for over a week or two, if anymore she was amazed he was still alive.

Then again, she was not observant enough to notice the holy chains and that the stones that glow and lit the cave were those which could weaken ones power. Connecting the two would clearly give the fact he was a demon away.

  • He noticed that when he managed to force his eyes open again, she was gone-
Hmph, of course... She probably realised what I was and left... Am I to rot down here for all eternity...? I can not even remember my crimes, if I even committed any... My mind is hazy... Is this amnesia...? No, for I still remember that fateful day... I was sent to rot in this cursed hell...

He closed his eyes again, managing to force out a low chuckle, which sounded more like coughing...

The day I come back and get my revenge... Will be the day all of humanity shall pay for opposing me...! However, I'll need my sister in on this as well... That is, if she is still alive, which I have been doubting of the last couple of hundred years...

He once again forced his eyes open and saw her standing there again with a basket of berries and water.

What is this... Is she not aware...? Has she not seen the runes and the holy markings on the chains...? Either she is completely oblivious, or... she is a mere mortal... I wonder how long mankind has thrived, only to be crushed by paranormal forces time and time again, demons, angels, monsters... they're all the same...

He managed to tilt his head up slowly towards her, his emerald green eyes were dark and tired from all the years of being imprisoned.
