I have been inactive on FeralFront for the past few weeks due to school,
however, since it has ended I have been feeling extremely down. I'll try to
make my backstory as short as possible.
I truly liked this school; the kids were nice, and I made some good friends.
Not to mention the classes were tolerable. I was confessed to by a friend of
mine on Valentine's Day- let's call him D. I politely told D I wasn't interested
but insisted we remain buddies. So we did just that.
However, over time, I came to see a sweeter side of him, which I eventually
came to like. I denied my feelings until the last two weeks of school, which,
as you may have guessed, I regret tremendously. On the 25th, we played
truth or dare, where another friend of mine dared D to kiss me on the cheek.
With much hesitation, he finally did so, although I was too embarrassed to talk
to him after that.
I finally decided that I would confess to him on Friday- the last day of school.
Unfortunately, the only time I saw him was during homeroom and lunch, and
he just so happened to have some sort of detention that day (really, teachers?
on the last day of school?). I had little time to talk to him and only got to hug
him as a goodbye- I was never able to tell him about my feelings. Here's the
problem I'm facing right now.
I do have his number. While he did not reply to the very first text I sent him,
he told me he received it when we met the next day at school. However, in
reply to the next few messages I sent him, I received this: "Free Msg: Receiver
(insert number here) unable to receive message- Message Blocking active."
As you can imagine, I was very upset about this, as it meant I no longer had
any method of contact (I do have his email, but he barely checks that). My
other friend had D's number, so I asked her to tell him about the problem with
our phones. Two days ago, she let him know, and I still haven't received
anything from him- I know, I have to be patient. But I keep constantly worrying
about what will happen if he never gets back to me, as we won't be going to the
same school next year. Any help is appreciated greatly. Thank you for your time.
