She managed to block it for the most part but Riley is stronger than she is so she was force to stumble back a few steps.

Riley noticed her stumble and grabbed her hand to stable her

She thanked them quietly as her footing stabilized.

"Alright, now let's do this again" they instructed

She nods, getting herself into the same blocking position as before.

They swung at her again

The difference in strength between them is still noticeable but at least there's less of a stumble this time.

"You're doing a bit better Zoe"

"Thank you, I'm trying my best."

"Maybe you could try to attack me"

"Are you sure?" She asked hesitantly, unsure if she should try or not.

"I am, you need to work on attacking too"

"Okay..." she murmured, throwing a weak punch in the process.

"Come on, actually hit me" they instructed

"Sorry..." she squeaked, trying again but her punch ended up still being pretty weak.

"You want me to help you with your punches?"

"Yes... I'm not very strong."

"Here I'll show you" they offered positioning her so she would have a stronger stance

A stronger stance is good and all but Zoe needs to build up her strength in her arms.
