Signs the weather will be fair for the day:

-The birds fly higher in the sky and make less noise.

-red skies at sunset mean it will not rain that night.

Signs it will rain:

-Low, heavy, large, and dark clouds.

-"Spotty" clouds (Altocumulus) means it will rain within/by tomorrow's moonhigh.

- clouds that look like mountains (cumulonimbus) mean a thunderstorm is on it's way.

-Round clouds (Mammatus) means a thunderstorm is on the way.

Other various things they should know:

-They must not be afraid of taking charge in the case of a really bad storm.

-In addition to regular warrior duties, the must keep their eyes on the sky and be ready to warn their Clanmates in case of a bad storm.

-Keen, perceptive, and quick are important traits.

-If lightning starts a fire, they must be quick to act and keep their Clanmates away until a Flamerunner can properly deal with it.

Basic Personality Description (at least 4 sentences) -
Duskclaw is an "explorer". He likes the unknown aspect of the future; and wishes to set their future on the right path in a way. He seems quite stoic and stern, but is actually quite kind and accepting. He's a doting father who can get a bit overprotective at times, and he actually would love to travel someplace. He loves Tempestclan too much to ever leave though. He's often unsure of himself, so on occasion struggles with leadership, but he remains heavily devoted to the Clan. He often tries to make everyone happy which isn't necessarily a bad thing, but it often leaves him conflicted himself. He's quite the peacekeeper, and often welcomes other cats into their clan. Too often he he trusts easily, getting himself hurt because of it. He always tries to see the good in a person, regardless of what they've done or what they desire.When the Clan is in trouble he usually gets serious and a bit moody as he thinks of ways to solve it. He tends to put the Clan before himself. Duskclaw wants their Clan back to the way they were and better, being the motive for his wish to lead. He's unfortunately a workaholic at times, so occasionally he'll be blind to his own personal troubles. Honestly he is the biggest worrier in the whole Clan.

Positive Personality - He's kind; dutiful, peace-loving, and sympathetic. He's certainly a doting father, and can get a bit overprotective when it comes to his three adoptive kits.

Negative Personality - Not confident, too trusting, self-sacrificial, a bit too serious at times, negative when it comes to himself, thinks more of the clan as a whole rather than himself a majority of the time.

Strengths - He's a great hunter, and can usually see what's best for the Clan (besides accepting strangers XD) . He tries hard to make sure his decision is one the whole Clan agrees on. Prefers to avoid conflict in general.

Weaknesses - He's not the best fighter per say, and he's sometimes too trusting. He believes everyone should have a chance, thus leading him to make some bad decisions at times. But- he always, always puts the Clan first. This has recently led him to refusing strangers shelter lately. With Tempestclan's current suffering, he does not believe their land is capable of sustaining more.

Likes - He secretly liked (still likes) to explore and often thinks about places far beyond his reach, but he'd never leave with how the Clan is and how much he loves Tempestclan. He also greatly enjoys wandering the territory and listening to the sounds of the rain. He does it often, mostly just to think. Especially about the Clan's issues. Also, he loves playing with his three adoptive kits.

Dislikes - Of course, he dislikes the chaos they're going through. He's not a fighter so he dislikes all the mistrust and accusations that went through the Clan during the leadership issue. He does not want a repeat of that ever again. In addition, he dislikes hunger and famine. It reminds him of the time of Fallenstar's death.

Fallenstar (friend): He looked up to her very much, wanting nothing more that the peaceful days under her as leader to last.

Sinclaw (friend): "Fate really is cruel then, isn't it?" Since they were kits, Duskclaw and Sinclaw have been really close. He was devastated to find out what Sinclaw had done by murdering Mistysky and was forced to exile his friend from the Clan. Despite the horrible thing that he had done, Duskclaw still cares for his friend and as a last promise to him has agreed to look after Echodrop and her kits.

Whitesoul(friend)- Another close friend of Duskclaw's. He knows of the inner conflict Whitesoul has with being deputy due to his father's expectations of him, making him wonder if he was right to have his friend as deputy if he feels this way. He gets very irritated when Whitesoul randomly falls asleep XD.

Hopesong (first love)- A loner he eventually came to worry for her safety. After hearing her story, he instantly felt nothing but sympathy for her. He often came by to help her and thought many times to invite her to the Clan, but wasn't able to until it was too late. He came to fall in love with her, but again, was not able to tell her until it was too late. Due to how much he cared for her, he gladly took in her kits as his own. Nowadays, he loves Wolfpaw, Hawkpaw, and Lostpaw regardless of anything.

Bristleheart(???)- He has an odd relationship with his close friend's brother. There were on good terms before, but eventually drifted apart sometime when they were warriors. Now, there is always some kind of tension between the two every time they speak.

During his kithood and apprenticeship to Ratwhisker, he was especially close to Ratwhisker's daughter, Fallenstar, or rather, Fallenkit/paw at the time. They were really close friends, and he always stood by her to support her. Together they became warriors, and he was especially proud when she eventually went on to become deputy. She had always been talented, so it was natural that she would become deputy and further along the way, leader. As a young apprentice, he often dreamed of going off to explore the world, but ultimately abandoned the dream because of his love for Tempestclan as well as in order to help Fallenstar. He wasn't her deputy, but all in all he was one who helped her often. When the Clan went into the famine, he knew more than ever he had to stay. He was devastated for a long time after Fallenstar's death, but eventually declared his leadership per her final request. Sometime after the famine, he met Hope and fell in love with her, although he never realized it himself. When she died, he blamed himself and took out his regret on Sheepheart. He took in her kits however, and have raised them as Tempestclan cats. Sometime during his life, he saved his mentor Ratwhisker from a badger alongside Fallenstar and Bristleheart.

Basic Personality Description (at least 4 sentences) - Out of all the cats in the Clan- it's easy to tell Lakepath is the most bubbly and outgoing. She can easily talk to anyone and everyone and greatly enjoys helping out around camp. She is very childish and naive; greatly disliking any time there is conflict. She doesn't deal with negativity very well. On the other hand, she adores praise. She has a curious mind, making her a natural researcher who greatly enjoys caring

for others. Coupled with the down-to-earth and happy-go-lucky personality, she made for a optimistic medicine cat who often tries to help out others. Though those days are behind her- she enjoyed her time and experience as a medicine cat alongside Inktail. She often tries to remain calm so she
won't cause her Clanmates trouble but under a lot of pressure can get easily confused.
She hates trouble and fighting among her Clanmates and tries to be neat but
most of the time, she fails. Currently not confident in her skills (especially as a warrior!) and is often
forgetful. Sometimes she forgets she's a warrior now and offers to help the medicine cats or Lostpaw. Which she's honestly much better at. She still retains her clumsiness, and that shows during when she hunts or fights with the others in training. She's really immature and kit-like, and likes to tease often.

Lakepath has always been more lost in thoughts than other kits, and took to herbs and healing rather than fighting or hunting. Together with Moonrose, her mother, Splashtail, and Orangeflare, the four found Tempestclan after their previous Clan fell apart. Along the way she taught herself about herbs and learned more from the previous medicine cat of Tempestclan. The previous medicine cat gave her her name before they had died in the famine. Her and Splashtail were in a forbidden relationship when she had still been a medicine cat apprentice. For some time the two ran away together but when Splashtail vanished on their travels, she returned to where she thought he would be. She has stayed ever since, giving up her role as a medicine cat apprentice when she first ran away. Though she is considered a warrior now, she mostly sticks around the medicine cat den to offer assistance to Inktail and Lynxfur.

Basic Personality Description (at least 4 sentences) - Darksky is very arrogant, confident, and reckless. He does things that would get him in trouble on purpose, not really caring how they affect himself or others at all. All he wants is that thrill now that he has nothing to lose. Ever since he was a kit, he was mischievous. But now, because of the things that have happened to him, this mischievousness has turned into something much more sinister. He is ruthless, not caring who or what he is hurting or taking from. He outright picks fights with others at the border, just wanting the thrill of a fight. He recklessly gets into dangerous situations for the fun of it, and is overly confident in himself. He believes he can find a way out of every situation with his cunning. His confidence and arrogance is backed up with his talent in battle. Also, he has stopped listening to any figures of authority due to his past with Fallenstar and his father. He absolutely despises being told what to do, and relishes the freedom of no restrictions. He has completely abandoned the warrior code and Starclan, living like a rouge more than anything. The only reason he hasn't completely left is to abide by his mother's last wishes; for him to stay. Also, he himself greatly loves being the one in charge. With his confidence and encouragement, he easily leads Vixenblaze in believing all his words. He is a bit controlling, but he does genuinely care for Vixenblaze. After all they've been through, he views them as a king and queen basically, and that the only thing that will split them is death. His belief in them is so strong, be believes they'll never get caught in their acts. With his confidence, he believes they can find their way out of anything no matter what odds are stacked against them. He honestly doesn't care what happens to him anymore, as he has lost nearly everything. On his deathbed, he would most likely realize and really regret his actions and the fact that he wasted the life his father sacrificed his own life for.

Bearflight, former friend; They have a rocky relationship. They were close friends prior to the famine, but after Darksky's father's death, they began to drift apart. It only got worse during the fight for leadership, where Bearflight was appointed Bristleheart's deputy and Darksky's views became more and more twisted. Due to their conflicting ideals, it wasn't long until the two got into a fight. They have not really spoken since then, only exchanging hostile glares and a few short words.

History

-A long time ago, Darksky was a rather normal cat of Tempestclan. He greatly looked up to his father Cedarskip (possibly the former deputy?) and Fallenstar. He felt a great admiration for both them, the warrior code, and Starclan. He was much kinder and generous, though he still had a mischievous streak. However, this all changed when the famine struck. Very quickly, he ended up losing his siblings causing his down spiral. He began to lose faith in Starclan, though he kept a small amount of hope that things would get better for them all. At this time, he was still an apprentice. One day he went on a hunting patrol with his father. They had caught a good amount, and very suddenly ran into a group of three rouges. Also starving, they begged Cedarskip to give them the prey for their kits. Out of the kindness of his heart Cedarskip gave them a share of the prey. Darkpaw was very reluctant because they were all starving back at camp, but Cedarsky assured him that Starclan would reward them if they helped. He said that they shouldn't let innocent kits die. But still desperate for more, the rouges attacked Cedarskip. Cedarskip fought them off for some time, giving Darkpaw a way to escape. By the time Darkpaw had returned with help, Cedarskip was dead and all the prey stolen. When he returned, it was revealed his mother had starved to death as well. Out of rage, Darkpaw cast away the warrior code, Starclan, and all love for Tempestclan. He felt that Starclan had abandoned him. He had lost everything, with the only person by his side being Vixenblaze. He began to disobey the code, eating prey without coming back and picking fights. Still, Fallenstar made him a warrior under the name Darksky in memory of his mother. It only got worse after Fallenstar's death. He felt a grudge against Fallenstar for not being able to lead properly. Lastly, after famine, Darksky relished the lack of leadership and the chaos. He came to enjoy the freedom of no control and no warrior code to restrict him. His mindset grew twisted, and he simply enjoyed caring about himself and his last remaining special person, Vixenblaze. They swore that till death do we part, and he convinced her to adopt the same mindset. They both began doing bad things with no care for the Clan.

Basic Personality Description (at least 4 sentences) - Usually Echodrop is really quiet, but not quite shy. She tends to act calm and composed a majority of the time which gives others an impression that she's unfriendly and cold. She tries to be more cheerful and social like her sister because of this, but it usually doesn't work out. She's actually really nice and enjoys talking to others. This side of her is really only shown when she's with her sister Mistysky as the two often cause trouble and goof off together ever since they were kits. She hasn't chosen a side yet since she doesn't like too, so she remains neutral at the time. She became depressed for some time after Sinclaw's betrayal and Mistysky's death, but began to open up as Icegaze helped her. Thanks to him, she is more or less so her former self. She'd get upset so Sinclaw ever showed up again since she still cares about him in some way, yet can't forgive him for killing her sister. For now, she wants to forget him and protect her kits from the truth.

Positive Personality - Echodrop is actually quite kind and talkative once you get to know her. She enjoys helping out often and is thoughtful and considerate of other's opinions.

Negative Personality - Echodrop comes off as cold and unfriendly to others, since she tends to not be very expressive at times. She gets upset quite easily however.

Born to Whitesnow and Thistlestorm along with her sister Mistysky, she's always been the more quiet and thoughtful of the two. The two often caused trouble together during their time as kits and apprentices. Together they were raised to be warriors and so far have had a peaceful life. Sometime during their apprenticeship Thistlestorm had died during a flood while Whitesnow just died recently from the famine. After her niece and nephew were born, her sister was murdered by her mate Sinclaw. Due to this, she took in Skykit and Fallenkit and was completely depressed for a long time. Basic Personality Description (at least 4 sentences) - Driftstep is known to be diligent and hardworking, so much that he is known for quickly adapting to various situations. Often times he keep a calm (sometimes cold seeming) demeanor, one that he resolutely maintains even when something is troubling him (to Spiderlily's dismay). Although he is recognized as so capable, he never shows any feelings of superiority or arrogance and keeps a humble attitude. Like his sister, when speaking to others outside of his family he adopts a more polite and formal type of persona. He kindly realizes that different people possess different strengths. He disagrees with his sister on the manner of rouges; he believes that the Clan should make use of all that come to them at the very least; and that they bring benefit to the Clan. He gets embarrassed when Spiderlily dotes on him however, as well as when others show appreciation of him.

Positive Personality - Driftstep is hard working, diligent, and quick to get accustomed to change. He's rather wise and humble even when recognized for it.

Negative Personality - He ends up coming off as cold and unapproachable at times. Especially when he's angry or upset, whereas his coldness seems to get worse. He never really tells anyone about his troubles, so it's difficult to see if he's truly upset over something. If he can't figure something out he'll get snappy and frustrated however.

Strengths - He's a quick strategist; and rather talented in it as well. He's good at talking to others, often times figuring out the troubles of others and helping.

Basic Personality Description (at least 4 sentences) - Outwardly, Skykit seems confident and tough. Yet, inside he's a total shy softie that just wants to impress his parents~ he seems confident and calculating but inside he's really just panicking over what he should do. He'd get really embarrassed at the mention of why he tries too hard too, which I think would be actually so he could help his sister become closer to their father. Or at least to find the reason why Bristle despises her so. Overall, he'd just try really hard to protect his sister from his father but he also craves a sort of approval from his father as well... so he is sort of stuck with two different faces I suppose, that confident "perfect" son of Bristleheart and the shy, soft, conflicted, approval-seeking side.

Positive Personality - On the outside, Skykit is cheerful, happy, and confident; and ideal son. He seems "perfect" and carefree.

Positive Personality -

Negative Personality - Thornkit is honestly just confused and lonely. From a young age, he found himself cast out. Because of his heritage- the son of two of the worst troublemakers in camp, most avoided him. What's worse is that his parents didn't seem to care either. So alone, he struggled to find a place to "belong" as hate grew inside him. He began to mistrust people, cynical and unable to believe anyone really cared for his well being. Anyone who tries to get close he lashes out, unable to think they really want to be friends with someone like him. He hears about what his parents has done and due to way the others treat and whisper about him behind his back, he has come to believe he'll just end up like them as well. Unlike Darksky, Thornkit was unloved from the moment he was born and because of that, he suffers from major trust issues along with some anger issues as well. In the end, Thornkit is just a lonely kit trying to get some love and attention in the most unloving of ways, in hopes of getting his trouble making parents to notice him. He is quite easy to influence. A bit selfish as well.

Strengths -

Weaknesses - Foremost, Thornkit has some terrible trust issues. He doesn't trust any of his Clanmates really now and honestly feels like an outcast in Tempestclan. He feels like he's a monster; formed by the neglect of his parents. So very similarly to his father, lashing out with some rather snarky remarks are common. But at the same time, he is also very different from his father. His expressions are more plain to see (while Darksky really openly expresses annoyance and his odd, sadistic joy.). His loneliness is quite apparent, despite the way he tells others to just leave him be. It's quite common to catch him watching the other kits play longingly. In addition, he tends to be quite reckless. No one taught him any better, so he is just this way.

Likes - He has yet to find something he actually likes really.

Dislikes - other cats, being compared to his parents, his constant loneliness, Tempestclan in general and how he doesn't fit in there.
