  • ((P.S. Sorry if this utterly sucks for I'm so tired that my eyes are barely open but I want to put this up since I've recently been into 'possessive' Character... no reason, just suddenly I've come to enjoy those type of Characters. So yeah, that's the premise of this, but in a Fantasy element.... I'm so tired xnx))

    Plot - Depending on whatever/whomever you wish to be, the Possessive, or the one subjected to such a relationship, the plot will be different and my own Character will be different to accommodate to the plot. The plots/starting sentences will be written up under my Characters' bios in the Spoilers, though the main idea of this is of the relationship, and this will hopefully not end up being darker than needed. The setting though, is of a typical Fantasy world with a bit of Medieval elements strewn about like Castles and Kingdoms, so a lot of Creatures that you would find in Fantasy are likely going to be in this thing and one of my own Characters is a Creature of such. Multiple Characters can happen, but that is all up to you, for I'm not a pushy pushy person and I'm not good at making decisions or more Characters on the spot like some. Well, that's all, the plots will be strewn into my Characters' Spoilers, and hopefully, this will turn out good, despite me being so tired ;3;

((Slight Edit: I'm not as tired as yesterday but kind of still am ;3;))

If you choose to have the 'Possessive' Character:

If you choose have the Subject to such 'Affection':

  • Tracking! This seems fun! I'd love to play the possessive character over Gawain.
Quick question before I make my starting post and bio. Would you prefer my character to be Human, Fantasy, OR does it not matter? Just want to check first!

  • Coolio! ^^ Alright, Here's my boy! -

    Rp-

It seemed today would not be the day the fallen bird met his fate. For nearby a cat stood, Crouched in the safety of a branch. It had simply been casually hunting squirrels when the smell of blood took its attention away. Leaving the blue eyed creature curiously peering down upon the Harpy. A strange creature with feathers like a bird but features of a man. The cat didn't speak. Simply kept his ears perked and pointed in the direction of the wounded creature. Watching as it fell upon the ground and seemed completely out of it. Curiosity pulsing threw the felines paws as it began to set into movement. Beginning to carefully make its way down the tree. The cat allowed himself to jump when he deemed himself close enough to the ground. His features changing in the blink of a eye. Soon the cat was replaced with that of a young man. Carefully walking along closer to the male. Grass crunching under foot.

He held his hands behind his back as he leaned over the unconscious bird man. Taking in the scent, He could hear sounds. Someone was after this guy. Not that the man known as Devon hadn't already put that together. No one would be running like that for the heck of it. Now was the choice of what to do, Leave it. Or see what happened. Oh. But Devon was a cat, And there was no way he was going to leave a tasty bird behind. He was curious on this creature. He wanted to atleast get a chance to speak to it and sate his curiosity. So debating things over, He finally decided to reach down. The harpy would be too big for him to carry over his shoulder. But he figured he could drag him to a bit more of covered ground.

So gently he began attempting to drag the harpy by his less injured arm. Or well, That was the case until two hunters burst out from the undergrowth. Causing the male to look up. Both bearing bows. There eyes going to the harpy to Devon who stood there, carefully letting go of the bird male. He considered shifting forms. Especially when one of the hunters drew his bow. Stating. "Back off. This ones ours. " That made Devon cock his eyebrow slightly. His head tilting to the side as he murmured. "Really? I don't see anyones name on him. " Taking a small step forward. Frankly, Devon didn't see the hunters as much of a threat. He knew some helpful people who would be most upset should something happen to Devon. All Devon had to do if he got in a serious pickle was flaunt that. But doing such was always to easy. Devon wanted to Joke about a bit.

"I'm telling you. Back off, We hunted it. Its ours. " Seemed the hunters weren't going to be off easily. See, This was going to be fun. Devon allowed his head to tilt to the side. Murmuring. "Alright, Fine. I'm surprised you'd want the thing what with the curse and all. " Devon murmured. Shrugging his shoulders. Taking a step away. That had spiked the hunters interest.
    "C-Curse? "
    "Frank, Ignore him. Hes just-"
    "What Curse?"

The two spoke. Oh, Devon had them in the trap now. He let out a little gasp. His eyes flickering. "You don't know? They say, When the goddess of beasts was slain by man. She made a curse and turned those who slain her into bird people. They say. In her curse. Anyone who gets the blood of one with black feathers upon there skin.. Well.. They turn into a random beast. Y-You haven't got any blood on you? Have you?" He said, Of course he was just making this sorry story up as he went along. But he thought he was doing a good job. He had a fairly good horrified expression on his face.

One of the hunters seemed to be taking the bait. For he looked terrified. The other.. Well he clearly wasn't taking the bait. So. Devon decided to take it up a notch. He glanced down to his hands, Where a small droplet of blood has sprinkled his palm. A gasp came from him. "Its on me! Its on me! Oh god. Help me! " He began, Taking a step towards the hunters. The frightened one took a step back. While the other remained unamused. "You little brat. What are you playi- " That was when Devon suddenly clutched his stomach. Deciding to start taking on his half form. Right in front of them. Beginning to scream in distress in his act. Reaching for help. And oh did they fall for it. The already frightened one let out a scream and ran. While the other gasped. Stumbling backwards before following after the other. Leaving Devon behind on the ground. Continuing his screams until he could no longer hear the two men trampling threw the forest to escape. That was when his screams changed to laughter. A bright look in his eyes. Well! That little act took care of them! They wouldn't be hunting for harpies for a long time after this. So sitting up. Devon allowed his form to return to that of a human. Glancing towards the injured harpy. His smile briefly turned into a frown as he crawled closer to the animal.

  • Gawain had remained in his all to unconscious state throughout the entire endeavor that occurred around his fainted form, for even if he had slight predatory senses, there was no way of possibly using them at the moment due to his current state. Though he seemed to stir a bit at the sudden loud screams that made their presence way too close to his body for comfort, and his body and mind naturally reacted to such disturbances that could be a potential danger or warning for such. And it so happened, that he was able to regain a hint of consciousness as his eyes weakly opened with hints of fuzziness as he glanced about with no clear target, mainly trying to regain his vision even if it was only slight.

Which it was, for his vision did sharpen but only a bit to make out forms but the features remained too fuzzy to make any clear sense of whom he was looking at, but that didn't matter as it was clearly someone Human in front of his pathetic form and there could be two possibilities for such; it was either a Savior or one of the Hunters of before, and it wasn't that difficulty to figure out which one he would prefer. But a uneasiness seemed to creep into his instincts as his nose twitched a slight bit, finding a peculiar scent that was common on Beasts or really, any Animal that had fur, claws, and teeth. That caused him to weakly narrow his eyes at the form before him with uncertainty, but it wasn't like he could do anything else but sneer and hope that he was ignored or left to rot which he long before accepted as a more preferable fate than being made into some feather-made goods or some kind of fancy meal.

But he couldn't have any true clue on whether or not that scent was truly the One in front of him, or some other passing Creature that made it's way through here way before his own traverse, or more, escape. Though he clearly noticed that he was a bit more towards a certain direction than he was previously, which was odd that he remembered such unnecessary details but it was a bit easy to notice and that made him a bit more suspicious, yet oddly curious of the Other's intentions, but it wasn't easy to voice such as he only slightly regained his consciousness enough to barely notice the Other and pain still reigned over his body and mind even if it was dulled down by his half-conscious state.

He wanted to speak, he wanted to at least try to escape his fate from being eaten or taken in by another Hunter, or at least get to know who this Person in front of him was before he could accept his own demise or hopefully, saving. Letting out soft gasps before trying to wet his mouth a bit to the best of his ability, for it wasn't like there was any water and he had run so much through the woods that his throat was as dry as it could be from the air and the repeated breaths he took as he ran. "...W-Who....." He could only barely mutter one word, which made him feel more weak and pathetic than what his form was already making him out to be.

If only he could fly away, or at least have a way to fight back if it came to it, but that wouldn't be his way of escape or the case due to his own wing having that stupid arrow wound that only showed that it had pierced right through the skin and made it to the other side, causing a incapacitating wound that had made him unable to use the wing unless he wanted to feel immense amounts of pain coursing through his body with each flap. It was all too easy for him to be some prey to some Creature or Hunter, anyone looking for something easy to take a bite from or get a good deal of money from, which seemed like a ironic fate for him as he was always sneaking food from others like it meant nothing. It kind of made him let out a soft, wheezy chuckle as he slowly resigned to his fate before him as he had no idea what would happen to him, and it did scare him but he had no power to stop it so why even try.

He let his eyes close yet again as he let his entire body succumb to the weakness within him, and could only wait for fate to turn either into something good or bad, mainly if he would live to see another day or perish right here and now from being eaten or killed right there, or slowly decaying right on this spot into nothing more. He knew that he wouldn't be missed for he was a loner and had no relations with any other Harpies, so this would mean nothing so why escape the course of nature, those higher on the food chain being the ones to dominate those lower than themselves, which he, of course, was at the moment in such a wounded state and there was nothing more than to hope for the best or let nature take it's course.

  • The creature seemed to be in a rather bad state, But it was awake. Devon could see its strange eyes looking up at him as he knelt there beside it. Its mouth moving as it attempted to speak. Only managing to push out one word, But Devon only replied with a soft. "Shhh..." Introductions could make themselves later. Gently he reached towards the others injured arm, A place a arrow had buried itself in. The black feathers painted red from the injury. Frankly, Devon had never really delt with a injury like this. His feline instincts suggested to lick the wound but he didn't think that would do much good. Nor could he bring the Harpy to a human town. Devon could of course walk among humans easily. But this Harpy would very easily stick out.

In the end, He decided the arrow needed to go. Not that he knew much about tending to a injury. But it seemed like a reasonable thing to do. So lightly reaching out. He glanced briefly to the harpy to see if he was still out of it. Before lightly attempting to tug at the arrow. Nothing, Blinking. He looked to the other side of the wound where the arrow head remained. Silently snapping the thing off. He brought it close to his face to examine it. Blood coated it and once more he got the instinct to lick the blood, This time to taste it. But Devon resisted and tossed the thing aside carelessly. He then once more moved to pull the rest of the arrow out. Which luckily wasn't to hard. But now he had a open wound to deal with.

Gently he moved his hand to his shirt. Beginning to tear a bit off. He had plenty of clothes, He wasn't too worried about ruining this thing. So lightly he began wrapping up the wound with the torn shirt to the best of his abilities. Standing up and stepping away once he was satisfied. He observed the harpy for another few moments. Deciding it best to not try to move the creature. The hunters were Not coming back after all. So with that he turned around and began walking off.

A time passed before he returned. The first time, He came back with a small wooden bowl filled with water. Then- He left again. This time slightly longer and when he returned. He had once more taken his Siamese cat form. A half eaten mouse in his jaws. Which he set beside the bowl for when the harpy would stir. A gift of food. Though Devon had gotten hungry halfway back. Explaining the fact it wasn't a full mouse. Ears pricked. The now Feline twitched his tail as he moved to the unconscious harpies side. Sniffing curiously. Before his gaze drifted up. When the Harpy woke up, He didn't want to be directly in the creatures path in case it snapped.

So casually the cat made his way towards the nearest tree. Easily climbing up and prowling to a branch that hung right above the harpy. Settling down, Devon lightly peered below. Sure, He could pick a higher branch. But he had a feeling that the Harpy wasn't going to be the strongest for a hunt when it stirred. Devon that deciding it might be a while before the cat woke up, Turned his head to lightly groom himself. He'd gotten a bit of blood on him that he certainly needed to clean off. It also gave him a chance to taste the harpy by the blood on his own paws. Frankly, It made his nose wrinkle. It sorta tasted like a bird. But.. Weird. He didn't know and didn't know if he liked it.

  • Gawain didn't bother to reopen his eyes as he accepted that whoever this was, they seemed not intent at the moment of eating him though he merely guessed such by how the Other seemed to tended to his futile attempt of conversing despite his state, maybe he wouldn't perish today and his voice seemed soft and comforting... Even though he was so accepting of such a fact, his body and mind couldn't help but relax on reflex on the fact of being alive for yet another day, or at least that he wouldn't be dealt any more unnecessary pain or suffering than he was at the moment. To be honest, it actually lulled him to sleep for his fear and stress towards his previous encounters and this was one were now nothing more than memories or false thoughts and with that, he dozed off back into unconsciousness to regain his energy yet again.

But that didn't stop him from unconsciously reacting due to muscle reflex, as soon as the arrow was tugged, even if it was slightly, his wing gave a slight muscle reflex by twitching and even a slight spasm from the pain that surfaced but was dulled before it could reach the sleeping Harpy's mind and wake him up. It didn't let up though as when the entire arrow was pulled out, it gave a reactionary flutter as it gave yet another spasm, though it was a bit worse as it's entire form shivered from the pain as air made it's presence on the open wound and gave a slight sting to add to the rest of the pain.

Yet it only ceased as soon as some sort of barrier was wrapped around the wound, blocking the wind and covering the wound in a secure and slightly nice padding, allowing the wing to slowly fold itself back onto the Harpy's back, who had a slight smile now on his face due to the fact that the wound was finally tended to, though he hadn't the slightest clue of his own expression or the fact in general that he was being helped through the pain and the wounding of his wing, but he remained in his blissful and unaware slumber for a good while more.

He only seemed to awake when the scent of something delicious hit his nose, which gave a small twitch as his eyes suddenly shot open, his irises a bit shrunken as his stomach gave a soft rumble in delight at the sight before him. He couldn't resist the sudden hunger, which seemed to have been bothering him throughout his rest unbeknownst to him, but that didn't matter as his unusually sharp teeth made themselves present and he swallowed the mouse whole like nothing. Giving a soft sigh of relief and general content, he then noticed the bowl of water.

He took it with his wing-like arms and placed it up to his lips, sipping from it till nothing was left in the bowl and finally, he was allowed the cool sensation of his throat being hydrated and his ability to talk back to normal tone of voice. He hadn't even noticed that his one wing had responded with not much of an issue till he realized the cloth that seemed to be wrapped around the entire structure, some of the feathers sticking out from being forced to do so due to the tight hold. Glancing about, he couldn't quite see the blurry shape of before and he hadn't quite the idea, or really he had no idea, who the person was for he simply allowed himself to be in their care without introductions.

But now was no time to linger, he was now in a state to walk about even if he couldn't fly, he would be able to walk back to his nest and hopefully get more est to allow the healing process to take place and even quicken. So he slowly lifted himself off the ground, albeit clumsily as his feet tried to wake themselves up and regain their stature, which he allowed them to do so before even taking even a step. When he felt his legs relax and actually feel a bit comfortable than before, he finally took his couple of steps which didn't seem to falter or sting at all, so he, without looking about even a second more, began walking a bit a way from where he had previously run away from.

  • Devon's ears pricked up as he watched the bird-man begin to stir. Snatching up the mouse easily, And quickly going threw the small portion of water he had been brought. Goodness, Devon was briefly glad he had chosen to rest in a tree. The Harpy could have very well have snapped him up in his cat form. Allowing himself to sit up, He gave his chest fur a small lick. Whiskers twitching in amusement as the male struggled to get up and walking. Still, Devon didn't make his presence known. He simply observed for a time longer. Waiting for the harpy to begin moving before he followed along by branch. Occasionally hopping along to a new one to move from tree by tree. It was fairly easy for the tom to keep up with the bird.

Slowly he allowed himself to maneuver until he had reached the more lower and thicker branches. Considering what was next to happen. Sure, He could let the creature go. But where was the fun in that? Devon was naturally curious in the harpy. Sure. It wasn't what he was used too. But it was interesting. Questions peeked at his mind that he most certainly had to ask the beast. What were those lines on his skins? Was it cannibalism for him to eat chicken? Was he alone? Did Harpies live in flocks?

Okay, Maybe some of them were silly questions. But he was generally curious. It also came to his mind that he could simply kill the beast here. It wouldn't be hard. Devon had hunted birds before. He was sure his half form could easily tear this harpies throat out. But that didn't really feel right, His blue gaze remained locked upon the harpy. So deep in thought, that he nearly found himself walking right off a branch. Feeling his front half dropping. A 'murrr!' Of surprise came from him, But He wasn't that high and cats often landed on there feet. So he found himself soon upon the ground. While the undergrowth probable covered him from the other male. He was certain the harpy had heard rustling and would realize by now he was being followed.

Had he not been in his feline form he would have let out a curse. So he settled on a hiss and swatted lightly at a leaf to express his rage. His fur riling up a bit, But turning his head he gave himself a quick lick to smooth it down. Then striding a few paces forward. He peered carefully threw the undergrowth to see if the harpy had much reaction to the noise. His body pressing close enough to the ground that he could feel grass on his belly. His whiskers twitching against the touch of leaves. He could just see the harpies feet and could perhaps get a better view if he moved closer. But he decided it best to not reveal his location.

Frankly, He wasn't completely sure of the intelligence level of a harpy. They could very well be practically mindless animals. Though he had a feeling this one had some sense to him, Still. He didn't want to risk being attacked. He'd easily outrun or kill the harpy. Of course with the animal in this state. But Devon was in no mood for such a thing. He was curious about the creature and wanted to see how it behaved! -Then again. He wouldn't mind a harpy dinner. Maybe he ought to rethink this plan?

  • Gawain was, of course, oblivious to his little follower as he made his way back through the all too familiar passing trees and path that he had before traverse in a panic of survival from those Hunters, it was all luck that he was founded by someone and tended to even if he had no idea who was the the one to do so. He scanned the area around him as he wondered on whether or not those Hunters were still around, or if they had given up for he wasn't conscious enough previously to hear of why he hadn't been captured in such a state. But he was glad either way to not be served up as some sort of meal or as a caged pet to someone random person, likely a Noble, that he still remained a Beast in the sense.

He never truly was a 'Beast' to be honest, or a 'Creature', to be exact for he never tended to sink into his instincts like all the Others and was a lot more reserve when it came to his needs, though before was more on his drowsy mind taking over and allowing such behavior to take over. He tended to slowly take his meals, which were similar to that mouse of before, half-eaten and barely anything left, but it always was sufficient to him in the end despite the small quantity of meat or substance. For he was more of a Scavenger when it came to his means of food, though that never explained why he was born with sharp teeth and claws when he never had quite he use for them and it was already unusual that he had teeth resembling those of some sort of Predator Mammal.

Though that had no meaning, for his true means as of now as to return back home and tend to himself as needed and make sure that he was up and ready for tomorrow, even if it would be all wishful thinking for such miraculous healing to suddenly take place after such a fatal wound to his one wing. It would likely take days for it to close up the wound left by the arrow, and even more for it to actually be in a state to take flight yet again and be comfortable with such. He would have to reteach hims-..! He suddenly was startled as his feathers stood on ends similar to that of fur and he felt his iris shrink as his senses sharpened in only a second to try to adapt to his current weak state when his ears picked up a sudden and unusual sound around him.

But he hadn't expected to be met with a slightly small form of a Cat, which seemed to be of that of a common Stray or maybe House-cat by the collar that was ever so present around it's neck, he could see some sort of mark that was etched into the golden, and probably expensive accessory, but he didn't much care for to try to figure what it was as he was too busy by the feline that had been stalking him as of now. Now, he didn't see any threat in this Cat before him but he felt uneasy, like he was staring up something that wasn't quite right or was not at all the truth, and he had no idea what to do or react so such a instinctual feeling.

"...Cats like yourself shouldn't be out in these areas, there are Beasts that will eat you up if they saw you. But I am not into such thing, you should head back to wherever your nest is and I shall do the same." He hoped that he had made himself clear to the Feline, even if he suspected that the Animal wouldn't understand a single world that escaped his lips, he just hoped that it would head back to wherever it came from. For he felt a sudden uneasiness worse than before, a sense of a predatory look upon him with the intent of devouring him like nothing and it was quite terrifying to be honest.

  • Seemed Devon had been found, But the harpy did not lung towards him in a attempt for easy prey. A good sign! He did not reveal his human form yet. No. Instead he simply curiously tilted his head up at the harpy. Listening to the male speak. Telling him to be on his way. But Devon took no mind to it. Instead he let out a soft. "Mrrow?" Beginning to stride closer to the harpy. He wondered if the harpy was suspicious? He was clearly nervous. But Devon was fairly good at acting like a cat, Maybe because he naturally behaved like one.

The closer he got, The easier it was to imagine him as some ones pet. That shiny collar was the biggest give away. Next to the sleek Siamese form and friendliness. Indeed. Many a day Devon had been confused for a lost pet-Great way to get free food by the way- He was hardly lost though. And hardly a pet. He simply had made a little wealthy family 'assume' he was there pet cat. With only about two people knowing the truth. And those were his dearest friends. This whole situation worked great for Devon. He had a nice comfy home to stay at should he need it, And the rest of the time he was off exploring the forest and city. The noble symbol around his neck enough to deter most humans from bothering him. Devon was certainly wonderful at taking advantage of things.

As he stared up at the Harpy. He frankly doubt the creature had such a luxury. A lot of humans tended to get scared of such animals and atleast Devon could hide what he was. Could this harpy change his face? Peering up at the bird-man. He gently stepped even closer. Allowing himself to rub his cheek and then body up against the harpy's leg. A thing he knew humans found endearing. He wasn't sure if the harpy thought the same. Whatever. It was just a way to scent mark the harpy. Something Devon always liked to do. A way to claim something as his own.

Devon then leaned his head back to peer up at the Harpy. Jeez, This thing was tall. Had he been a human he would whistle. But now didn't feel like the right time to shift. He'd let the harpy think he was a cat for a few hours. Then turn to normal. Give it more of a surprise. Devon then began moving forward. He had hunted in the forest a few times, And well had a few stashes in the forest. In case he was to get hungry or need a change of clothes. It would be a short walk, But Devon figured the Harpy could perhaps use the aid. So striding a few paces, He turned his head back. Kneading lightly at the ground and letting out a couple loud. "Meooow! Eooow. Roow. " Noises in hopes to lure the harpy after him.

  • Gawain wasn't as you would say, scared of the Feline companion that seemed to to not deter from his words and follow him with only a meow to respond to him in the end. It was more uncomfortable that he had someone beside him, a bit too close might he add, who he had no clue on their intent of even staying beside him, for his instinct, primarily his bird-like one, was urging him to try to flee or even fly if possible. But he knew neither was possible in his current state, he could neither run fast enough to escape something on fours and clearly a lot more agile than him or fly, for his wing clearly wasn't at all in a state to do.

No, he would have to allow this Cat to be beside him throughout his walk even if he felt uneasy by such a thought, but he couldn't do much concerning such a feeling so he could only hope that this was more of a Friend than a Foe. The Feline seemed more like a House-Cat than anything, so maybe he was just peculiar of it due to the his Bird nature peeking through and warning him of their natural Predator. It was kind of stupid of him to think of such a small thing of being capable of attacking him, and at most, devouring him like nothing right there and then, it was kind of pathetic to be honest. He should know since he had dealt with far more deadlier Beasts before, mainly due to his location and the fact that he was a easy prey for taking due to not being around all other Harpies like usual.

Rubbing at some of the markings on his left shoulder, he gave a soft sigh as he wondered on why he had been so careless as to take such a dangerous lifestyle for it seemed to only bite him in the end, and cause more problems than any good. He glanced down at the Feline as he walked, feeling a soft presence rub against his legs, even if they were covered in feathers mostly, for they were still pretty sensitive to touch and tended to feel things a lot more than the rest of his body. The Cat seemed to rubbing against him, which was nothing that he expected from something that could easily end his more Bird counterpart, but it was an interesting gesture and he found it oddly comforting, though that could be hints of Human peeking out since he sort of knew of the idea of Pets, so he gave a small smile even if it kind of was difficult for him to do so consciously.

But he had no idea how to react when the Cat suddenly walked ahead and looked back at him with a couple of small sounds to boot, for he had no idea what it wanted but it could hinted that it wanted him to follow. He had no idea if he should so for he had no idea of this Feline, who had suddenly appeared to be honest, and it didn't know whether or not it was a trap to lead him in for some sort of easy kill or meal to be exact. Yet he was intrigued, even his instincts were screaming at him about the possible threats and dangers that could be lurking if he followed after something that he had no knowledge of, and ended up slowly changing his walking direction and went towards the Cat and the loud noises.

  • The cat was certainly pleased when the male began to follow him, Whiskers twitching. He turned his head forward as he carefully walked along. Tail held high in content. It took a short time when he finally stopped near a tree. Peering up at it curiously, His blue gaze flickering around until he found it. A lump in the dirt, Easy to miss. But it was a clear sign to Devon that his supplies were still there. Bounding along, He hopped up ontop of it. Allowing his paws to dig slightly as he circled a bit. Revealing underneath a layer of dirt a backpack. Gently Devon then hopped off the bag. Beginning to stride once more towards Gawain to rub himself against the male.

He didn't completely remember what had been left in the bag. But he was confident there would probable be clothing, Matches, Maybe some water and dried food. Simple survival items really. Oh and catnip. All his supplies had catnip. Frankly, The stuff worked just as well on him as it did any other cat. So.. Eh hehe... Yeah. Looking up towards the male. He once more considered shifting forms, And once more decided not too. Besides, How was he supposed too? Do you know how awkward it was to explain. 'Oh hey, I'm not a cat?' It was really, really weird.

Carefully Devon moved along to one of the trees. He remembered this place better now. Gently leaping up. His claws sunk into the tree and he began climbing up. Eventually reaching a small hole in the tree that had been probable been hollowed out by a bird or something. What ever the case, The small hole was long since abandoned and a perfect fit for Devon. Climbing in though it was a tight squeeze. He then peered out, being more at eye level with Gawain in the tree.

"Oww...Mrrrr" Devon meowed. Lightly allowed one of his paws to stick out of the hole. Batting lightly in Gawain's direction. Though he only hit air. He then pulled his paw back in. Moving into a more crouched position before springing forward. It seemed he was playing. But the spring could have been executed better. For next thing Devon knew, His front half was hanging out the tree. Scrambling to try and push himself back in. Only to fail, Fall to the ground. Land on his feet. Blink a couple times, Before pretending nothing just happened by licking his back a few times and walking over to Gawain.

  • Gawain certainly didn't expect to be led and greeted with a sudden appearance of a bag, a backpack it more seemed like and he slightly narrowed his eyes as he canned it with confused yet intrigued at the same time. He hadn't had any use for such things, since he was nothing more than a Harpy and his Species never needed much places for storing objects or food as they tended to eat then go, leaving the previous living creature behind with no remorse. He took a couple steps forward as he wanted to investigate the strange bag, for it was strange that a Feline would know of such a thing and even more, have it hidden under dirt, which was a lot more convoluted from what he would expect from some Creature that could easily be fed, well enough he added, by those who would rather hunt him down and do whatever they want to him than ever give him or his Species a chance.

He had a bit of a issue when it came to opening up the bag, as he didn't have any true hands to be exact as it was mostly feathers and wing, but he tried never the less and eventually was able to pry himself into the residing items of the bag. They seemed like Human-related things, besides a clear plant-like thing that could be considered something that the Cat used to find this spot... but he didn't understand the Human items that resided in the bag from clothes to Human-like food. "Strange..." Was what he muttered under his breath as he scanned the items with curiosity as to whoever these might belong to, likely the Cat's Owner and maybe the form he could only vaguely remember from when he was near unconsciousness.

But his attention was suddenly directed at the Cat, yet again to be exact as he noticed the Feline climbing up onto a nearby tree and he had no clue on why it would do such a thing, maybe for some sort of entertainment? It seemed to allow him to, with ease, stare at the Creature eye to eye, which honestly made him smile a slight bit as he found it oddly endearing that such a sight was happening before him, for it was honestly something he never thought he would experience in his life, but right now he was watching a Cat peer at him from a hole within a tree.

Though a sudden chuckle escaped his lips, which was something he never knew he could produce since it rarely ever occurred, or more exact, it never ever occurred in his entire living, as he watched the Cat sudden fall out from the tree and then try to act like it was merely nothing. It oddly add a Human quality to the Cat, and he couldn't help but compare it to a Human in a sense on how it clearly had a personality than being a a typical Creature or Beast bent on being cutesy or being a Predator out for Prey. "Interesting Beast.." He softly spoke as he looked down at the Cat, playfully placing a feather from his wing on it's head as an attempt to pet it.

  • The cat had just completely brushed off the fall when a noise made him prick his ears. Devon certainly wasn't expecting to hear any laughter! So when he did, His ears pinned back briefly in surprise. Feeling them go slightly hot in embarrassment. But such feelings were quickly forgiven when the male reached down. Feeling soft feathers brush against his pelt. It was a odd feeling, Somewhat ticklish and made his skin twitch. But oddly enough. Devon liked the feeling. Such feelings quickly indicated as he felt a purr rumble in his chest, His paws lightly kneading the ground before he began moving around in circles around the feathers. Occasionally pressing his head up to his wing.

This was strange, Devon had to admit it. This harpy was seeming safer and safer by the minute. A animal would have eaten him by now, Or atleast tried too. But this Harpy seemed fairly human in mind. Maybe that was more dangerous? Humans were less predictable. But Devon was used to humans. He knew how to play the game with them and get what he wanted, So. Now armed with the knowledge that this creature was seeming more and more human by the moment. He decided- Ah. What the heck. Might as well reveal himself!

It happened in a brief moment. One moment he was a simple Siamese cat enjoying affection. The next, A adult male. Now- The thing is. Devon was a touchy person. Both in cat form, And human form. So as soon as he shifted. His arms were attempting to go around the other, Cheek moving to his chest- Another attempt to scent mark the guy. Not that he'd realize such was what Devon was doing. His lips pulled back in a bright smile. Purr still rumbling on. Seemed Devon was capable of doing such a thing- Even in his human form.

"I must say, You are interesting yourself. " His head lifting to stare up at him. Devon was fairly average height among humans. But this guy was tall- He had to wonder if it was normal for harpies. Perhaps he was short among his own kind? Suddenly, Devon then was moving away. Going to the bag. Opening it once more up. He began lightly going threw his things. "Mmhmm.. I'm no doctor. But I do believe your wound should be cleaned. I didn't manage to do much besides get the arrow out. Did you know you taste really weird? Its kinds of weird tasting, But not that bad. Like Liver! Do you like liver? Yes? No? I mean, I like all meat. So like. Eh. " He began talking. And goodness. It was so much better when he was a cat and simply meowing. He only stopped for a moment when he found a old can of water and a fresh shirt. "You can probable use this to clean it, Or something. If it was me, I'd just lick it clean. But don't know if that would work here. Do you heal fast? I heard some creatures heal super fast. " He jabbered.

  • Gawain could only watch as the Feline paraded around him, enjoying his touch it seemed, which he found slightly welcoming as he feared that the Creature would of been angry towards such a inhuman touch, for he knew that his feathers tended to give a weird feeling due to experience against his own Human upper-half. He couldn't stop a smile from appearing on his face as he heard a soft rumble of approval as well as movement from the Feline, he could clearly see that the weird feeling wasn't at all distasteful towards it, and the way it was acting... it was kind of endearing to be honest, but if he were to be truthful, in Human terms, it was kind of cute.

He enjoyed himself as he continued to let the Cat rub against his feathers, finding it comfortable and slightly comforting as well as it gave him a warm feeling in his chest due to how he had never experienced anything like this, and it was a welcomed experience. It was kind of pathetic of him to have been so conscious and alert of such a small Creature previously, who seemed to only want attention and nothing more, and it caused him to let out a soft chuckle yet again as it was honestly comic on how such a big Creature as himself would allow his bird instincts to cause him to be alert of something so petite. He honestly allowed himself to lower his guard as he watched the Cat with interest, enjoying how it rubbed against his feathers and let out approving sounds every now and again.

Though that sense of comfort and safety was quickly shattered, as right before his eyes, the Creature that had previously been nothing more than a small Feline had suddenly proceeded to take the form of a Human Male right before his eyes, and honestly his instincts kicked up and his guard went immediately on high alert. He didn't even take the fact that the Male before him had just simply wrapped his arms around him and gave a cat-like nuzzle with even a similar rumble of noise, for his mind was filled with terror and uncertainty. and so he quickly started flailing about with his wings starting to flap a bit as to cause the unfamiliar Human to back away.

It was honestly a relief when the Male finally separated himself from and want over to the bag, he previously scanned through when he was alone with a Feline and not a Human! He couldn't believe what he had just seen for his mind couldn't comprehend such a sight with any means of logic or knowledge to be exact, for he had never seen such happen before to any other sort of Beast or Creature. The words that the Male was speaking to him were all muddled as he tried to calm himself down and process the situation at hand, but he could easily tell that this was nothing but normal for the One in front of him for he was talking in great amount and wasn't at all fazed.

The only comforting fact was that they were different in height, with himself being taller than the unusual Male before him which was a comforting fact yet he was still injured and possibly couldn't flee fast enough if he tried. "Who...who are you? ..where...what happened to that Beast? Are.... you..." He couldn't process his own words, for his mind was just muddled with questions with no answers at the moment except the sight form before being a prominent thing plaguing his mind.

  • Devon finally fell silent as he picked up on the other speaking, His words stumbled and Devon paused his hands in his search threw the bag. He stayed still for a moment before turning his head. Sure, Devon had his own questions. But The harpy had his own as well. Briefly a frown touched his face as his blue gaze stared up at the male. "The 'beast' is me. I am Devon, -Devon Rex." He stated lightly, Standing back up straighter. He brushed himself off a little before turning to face the male. Frankly, He was less intimidating when he was a human. Everything seemed towering when you were a cat. He didn't move forward yet though.

"I'm also the one who kept those hunters from skinning you. Your welcome. Sorry for my lack of introductions earlier. I was unsure how wild you were and it is easier for me to make a grand escape when I'm a cat. " He expressed. For it was true, It was certainly hard to catch him in his cat form. Not to mention, If he had awoken to a human looming over him.. Well the harpy might have acted with far more aggression. -Then again. He was still confident he could kill this creature should he desire too.

Devon then took a step forward, Allowing his form to once again change, This time. It was amazing how quickly he could change and Devon would be lying if he said he didn't tend to do so frequently. -Unless of course he was trying to hide his identity. His feet returned to paws as he walked, His features changed in just a few seconds and by the time he reached the harpy he was back to the cat. Walking easily between the creatures legs and being certain to rub slightly against them as he walked.

When he reached behind the male he once again shifted back to his human form, Standing behind him. He aimed to lightly lean against the other. Lifting his hand and examining his nails. He then murmured. "Don't worry, If I were to kill you. It would have been when you were knocked out. Then again, I could very will take my half form and take you down right now. I would just reach my hand around right here. " He moved his arm around the others, First resting his finger on his stomach. "Then cut with my nail down. Gutting you like a fish. Or maybe I'd slash the inside of your thigh and watch as you squirm and bleed out. " His lips then returned to there happy smile and his voice seemed to get so much chipper. "Ah! I'm just playing with you Buddy. I don't have a freezer to store the meat. Nor could i eat you that fast. " He joked lightly. Though it was a little hard to tell if he was being serious or not. Pulling away from the other.

  • Gawain could clearly tell that his wording might of been distasteful concerning that he too was something inhuman and could be considered a 'Beast' as well, but he shouldn't have worded/confessed that out to the one before him who he considered a threat and a a 'Beast' right there and then without any knowledge of his personality or nature. "Sorry... shouldn't have said that." He spoke softly as he lowered his wings to a more unguarded position, by his sides as he watched the Other with a bit more of a calm expression upon his face. It wasn't difficult to tell that he was intrigued that the one before him was something more advanced than himself, a Creature possible of being around Humans without any worries and even confiding to their customs. "Gawain... at least that is what I was called once." He didn't go any further, for there wasn't any reason to do so and he rather not do so in truth.

He furrowed his brow a slight bit at the accusation of him being 'wild' for that was never in his nature, he wasn't like all the other Harpies and how they tended to torment their meals and even brutally assault them with their claws like savages. "My instinct told me be wary of you... but I'm grateful that you gave me another chance to live... even if you could of eaten me." He gave a small smile at the end of his words, as he thought it would hopefully lighten up the stressful introductions between the two of them, for he wouldn't want to deal with a feral creature he had never seen a glimpse of before in his lifetime. "I'm no savage, I take meals from Others' when they are done and gone... my claws and teeth are no more than accommodations..." It wouldn't be good if he ended up in a fight with this previously Feline, for he sensed an uneasy and aggressive tension from him that clearly showed him to be more dominant than himself despite their size difference or any other useless appearance-wise facts of himself.

It was honestly a relief when he saw the Male before him return the more calming sight of a Feline, and the usual nuzzling that ensued was a bit of needed sort of comforting touch to get him from being so worried of being maimed or eaten alive right here and now for his lack of better wordplay or knowledge to be more exact, he should know that saying such to a Predator could leave to unrivaled anger that could easily end with his demise. He couldn't help but let out a Human-like sigh of relief as he felt his tense mind slowly become more calm and not too stressed over the ifs and now about now, but that couldn't of been broken faster...

As he suddenly heard the voice of the Male, he couldn't stop his body from trembling as the words that escaped from those lips and the sight of his nails as they trailed over his form like nothing, it brought his instinct to a higher plane than before as his bird side was warning him in greats amount to run, to fly off to a high place or even up to the sky, and to fight for his own survival more than worrying about trivial things like his wound. His eyes were wide as an Owl's as he tried to comprehend what he should do at this exact moment, for he could clearly be pinned down now and have such things done to him as the Male was speaking of.

He didn't even think, as he suddenly remembered a mere fact of his very existence, and the one thing that traumatized him from Human Life in general and how he stayed secluded from all sorts of Life and barely adventured back towards where every other thing was playfully frolicking through the forest with no issues, why he took the chance of the deeper and more dangerous parts of these woods. "Much worse things have happened to me than you could ever do to me!...." He admitted outright, though not completely exact on what he meant for he didn't wish to release such information out to someone he had to been acquainted with, but then he realized with a pale face, more paler than usual, that he was simply being played with.
