  • //Could some people help send invitations to allies? I'll get whichever ones nobody wants to go to.

Greyscale was late, Greyscale was unprepared, Greyscale was worried. He had done as best a job as he could, but it still didn't seem like a big enough party to be an ally-wide one. The demon had chosen a nearby spot on the shores of the lake. He had laid picnic blankets down on the grass for more comfortable seating, and had managed to clear a small path to the playground just in case any children present wanted to play there. The path also acted as the main entrance to the slightly remote clearing, as was lined with colorful balloons so people knew the way. There was a long plastic table on the edge of the clearing, with was decorated with various flowers and picnic food (fruits and sandwiches and the like). He had even gotten his hands on a small boombox (set to a lower volume, obviously), and had spent a good hour trying to get it to work. He had found some karaoke CDs and had taken one of the worse-quality microphones (making sure Windchimes wouldn't miss it too much) just in case anyone wanted to try.

And lastly, the actual point of having the party near the lake. He wasn't sure what a lake good for swimming looked like, but hopefully it was fine. He had taken some of the pool toys from the indoor school pool and placed them near the water just in case anyone wanted to use them. He wasn't sure what they were for, only that they were probably used for fun in the water. Actually, the only reason he hadn't held the party indoors was simply because it was beginning to get warmer. They should enjoy the nice weather while it lasted (after all, this was the first summer he could remember). Plus the indoor pool hadn't been cleaned in a while, and looked pretty gross. He should ask Windchimes about that sometime.

Finally, Greyscale was done preparing. Using some school supplies, he had made a makeshift sign using construction paper and old markers, which fashioned many crudely-drawn flowers and the word 'welcome' in colorful bubble letters.
"Um, the party's about to start, if anyone wants to come in now!" he called, attempting to stick the poster to a nearby tree. He had insisted that no one come near his preparation area until he was done, so he wasn't sure if anyone even heard him.

  • //I'll take The Sanctum and Windclan!

The leader would happily appear at the scene, a warm and inviting smile spreading across her features. It had taken some time, but finally she could see that this was a fine looking event. Her eyes would land on Greyscale with a happy and approving nod. "Nice job!

  • //Sorry, but Swiftspots already took Riverclan.

Greyscale blushed at the compliment. He hadn't expected a genuine compliment.
"Ah, t-thank you," he replied, stepping away from the tree as he spoke. He flicked his tail towards the entrance, "You can g-go in."

  • "Hey! Am I too early? Also- what's a swimsuit?" Weed would ask cheerfully as he bounded up. Perhaps he was a bit.. too early. If you counted that as a thing. But it just seemed like he was the first one here, even out of the district themselves. Yeah, they had the host here, but who exactly else was here? Well, at least he showed up at all, even if at the moment he seemed a bit early to the party.

  • A warm purr erupted from his throat, approaching the sandy beach with a happy smile on his maw. It was simple, clearly small, but it was better than anything the Sanctum had held since when Duchess was in charge. The grey tabby's fur was glowing as he walked in, slow as to not seem overexcited or rude. Of course, he wasn't the first ally here. As he watched a Windclanner look around, they were both rather early. He hated to be rude at an ally event, at home it was different somehow. So he would scrape his mind for a compliment.
"It's lovely! This must've taken you hours." Though he was complimenting the work put in, his eyes were focused on the expanse of water. Mesmerized by how the ripples caught the light, and the clear blue color that came from deep inside. Raphael had never swam before, but he was starting to get the appeal. With a hazy warmth all around him, he was tempted to fucking moan.

  • "Nope you are all perfectly on time! Welcome." she would happily say, her eyes landing on Weed, a familiar pup in her eyes. As he asked about swimsuits she simply chuckled and said "Swimsuits is something humans wear in water, it's not needed for us though."

Her happy eyes would turn and lock on the second member arriving, it seemed to be the girl in The Sanctum. She would happily give a nod and thank everyone. "Thank you."

  • Greyscale blushed at the compliment, smiling.
"T-Thank you," he replied, "I'm glad you like it." He turned to the other visitor - a grey canine who smelled like a Windclanner. "Hello."

  • Luke approached soon after Weed, his mane tousled after running after the advisor to this party. "Hello! This looks like a nice set up. Thank you for inviting us." He wasn't sure about the pool toys, or even about swimming in general, but he would be happy to sit and socialize with some allies anyway.
