  • Lup was not having the best luck during her pregnancy. She found herself to be more clumsy and forgetful, generally messing up the smallest of tasks. But none of her previous mess ups could measure this one. Lup had just been making food for herself and accidentally used in an ingredient that made that poisoned the poor thing, though nothing fatal, she had been thrown up a few times before laying on the floor of her and generally feeling miserable. Being pregnant didn't help things at all, since this was most likely a combination of food poisoning and morning sickness. She just hoped the whole clan wouldn't stop by, since that was what they usually did when something bad was happening. Though her reasons why she didn't want anyone to visit had already drifted from her memory. Dear lord, this was going to be fun.

Mar had decided to stop by and give Lup a few gifts. They tapped the door gently with their paw and mumbled around the basket in their mouth, "Lup? It'th Mar." When they didn't hear a response, they pushed the door open and stumbled upon their friend, sick and looking absolutely miserable. They set the basket down and hurried to her side. "Hey, honey, everything okay?"

  • Lup, with her head against the floor of her home, shook her head and sighed, " Sorry I didn't get the door, Mar. " She slowly got up on all four paws, wobbling as she did. The nauseous feeling creeped back for a second before Lup layed back down. Though with her pregnant belly, it was a little hard to feel comfortable on the floor, " I think I ate something weird and now I feel awful. " She told the leopard, who she considered almost like a sister at this point. She was actually pretty happy to see Mar, despite feeling sick.

Mar nudged her shoulder gently. "Wanna try going for a walk? See if the fresh air helps? I think I brought some herbs that should help with nausea but I'm not sure." Let's see- they brought mint and that was really the only thing they could think of. But anything was better than nothing. Lup was practically family and they almost felt obligated to take care of her.

  • Lup nodded, once again she lifted herself up and took a few steps forward. So far, so good for now, " We could make mint tea outside over a fire or something. " The Somali closed her eyes and breathed in as she pushed away the sick feeling that rises up into her throat. Despite that, she was somewhat feeling better just from standing up and stretching her limbs a bit, " Thank you. I really appreciate this, sis. " Lup would've blushed at calling Mar her sister, but alas...she was a cat.

'Sis'. That felt nice, considering Mar never had siblings. "I brought a lot of mint," they confirmed, walking behind Lup. "We'll get you feeling better, darlin'." Their southern accent was beginning to show slightly, but they ignored it and carried the basket with them.

  • Lup wobbled out of her home, her pointy ears seemingly less perky than usual. The fresh air seemed to hit her almost immediately as a gust of wind brushed through her odd-colored fur and a small spread against her muzzle, " That feels nice..." She told Mar, the hint of a purr on her voice as rays of sunlight passed through the trees and on the back of her black cape. It was a lovely day and she almost missed out on it, as well as possibly miss seeing other members of the clan walking about the floating islands.

Mar nodded, glancing at Lup every few seconds and occasionally watching her stomach. They worried about her- she was like their little sister and they wanted her pregnancy to go as smoothly at possible.

  • Lup stopped for a moment, something a suddenly popped into her head. It was something she had been meaning to tell Mar specifically, " Hey, Mar." She slowly turned to the sibling figure and started to speak, " I'll be due to have the kids not too long. Will you be there? " She tilted her head slightly, hoping to have her nearby when she went into labor.

// I was planning on having them July 3, but I'm kinda getting impatient XD

  • Seeing Lupe and Mar stepping out of the hut together and overhearing part of their conversation as well as catching the faint scent of vomit emitting from the former, Sweetophelia quickly concluded what had just occurred. "You feeling alright?" the BlizzardClan leader questioned. "Have you seen a medic yet? You might have morning sickness." It had been something Sweetophelia had experienced in her first pregnancy but not her second, interestingly enough.
