It got better. It got so close to getting better. So, so close and now it crashed before her eyes. Who was that? She didn't think it was real but it couldn't be fake. There he was- the father of her first litter. Or at least, she believed he was there. "James?" No response. Maybe it wasn't real. She couldn't tell whether he spoke or not so instead she kept talking. "God, you've got quite the brain for bad ideas. I've got new children, a new life, I don't need you, I don't want you..." Mar kept on rambling till she noticed a crowd forming. She still couldn't decide hallucination or not- there were people watching her with strange expressions but maybe it was just because she was confronting him.
