Admittedly, it had taken Lottie quite a bit of time to consider who, from the Poison Prevention Class, she wanted to add onto the Medic Team, since the class had been a little bit slow. That was no fault of anyone's, of course, but made deciding far more tricky than she would have hoped. They had already lost so many people on the Medic Team, and standing back up before the Clan to re-make the announcements so soon after her first picks was rather hard for the Head Medic to do. But at the same time, she'd be proud to have new faces on the team, and she knew that they would do well. At the very least, she hoped that they'd be excited about the new endeavor. "I have a few Medic Team announcements to make," she would announce aloud to gather the attention of anyone in the Clan interested of hearing of it, sitting down a little nervously as she flicked her tail gently on the ground.

Well, he wasn't much for medicine, though he certainly did admire them, especially the battlefield medics he'd served with. The black and tan dog trotted up, and seated himself near to where the kind medic was. He liked her, she'd been quite level headed when his son had cracked open his skull... she was also very compassionate, and understanding, and that was something he looked for in potential friends. Not that he needed friends, he was good on his own, though, Perri and Witch were sort of his friends, though more like children, and Harry was... well it was complicated, at least in the canine's eyes. Curious to know what Ise would say, he seated himself, his tail wagging.

life's a dance you learn as you goIt seemed Çelina was one of the first to arrive. Following Lottie's announcement, the femme was excited to hear what the medic would say. Who would she choose? It was true the poison class hadn't lasted very long, so she wondered what decision she had come to. Well, she was about to find out. Maybe she would select Gingerbread. He had seemed interested in what the large feline was teaching, and Çelina knew him to be smart. Surely, he would succeed in anything he set out to do. But, for now, the arctic wolf stood in silent anticipation, her ears perked and angled forward in eagerness.

Lincoln wasn't quite sure what a Medic was or what it did but he was pretty sure that it was important. If it was important, he was going to be there to witness its importantness. Was that a word? The undersized snow leopard would wobble his way into the clearing, milky blue eyes looking in the direction of Iselotta's voice. Of course, he was off in terms of accuracy. His gaze was pointed a bit too far left. He didn't notice, of course. He still had no idea his eyes were open. After traveling a few feet, the boy plopped his floofy butt onto the frozen ground to listen. He wondered what was going to happen.

❝ RUN RUN RUN AS FAST AS YOU CAN ❞
Harrison's lungs aches and his throat felt incredibly hoarse, one could have considered him sick but this was no virus, quite literally his body was eating himself up and even at this stage he wasn't aware of the true demon within. Still, strengths were high enough to participate in this medic meeting. The stallion was fairly skilled in the field, when he had to stay in a Navajo village during a war he learned the basics of natural medicine even if he was participating as a soldier in combat. Standing next to Jules, the stallion would tune in to the medic team announcement, pointed ears peeling forward ententively as he breathed shallowly❝ BUT YOU CAN'T RUN RUN FROM THE LORD'S WICKED HAND ❞

Pierce had never been very interested in medicine - he often got the different plants used for healing confused, and he tended to panic when under stress, which was quite the undesirable trait when it came to medics. It was for this reason, however, that he quite respected healers - their abilities were incredible, and very admirable. If it weren't for Blizzardclan's medics, it was likely Pierce wouldn't be alive today. Not comfortably, at least. The young vice-leader was next to approach, placing himself near Celina to listen to Lottie's announcements. There were many Blizzardclanners suitable for the choice of Medic Trainee, and he was looking forward to hear who she would choose.

Bo padded over, curious but not entirely sure what was going on. A lot of other people where already gathering though, so it had to be important so he figured maybe he should stick around. The fox was still feeling a little under the weather (and down in spirits) but it would not slow him down from cheering on his clanmates. He took a seat and kept his ears perked, waiting.

Already aware of the names soon to be announced, seeing as she and the Head Medic always discussed new additions to the Medic team ahead of time, Sweetophelia approached in calm silence, seating herself beside Pierce.

Intella wasn't all that interested in the practice of medicine. Perhaps there were times the engineer could appreciate it as a science, but it wasn't anything so dear to her heart as technology. She just didn't have it in her at the time to have attended the poison prevention class, as she failed to realize how it actually could have been quite useful. Besides, the Paladin Trainee was much happier with her new position then she would have been if, by some odd shot, she were chosen for a career in medicine.
That being said, Intella stilled cared to know about the new selections. So, she padded to the back of the group, eager to hear and congratulate the upcoming promotees.

Although Nathaniel wasn't much interested in medicine, he liked knowing who to go to in case of an emergency. Skipping out on the choices was like skipping out on a meeting just because he didn't think anything important would be discussed. Approaching, he remained besides Intella, gaze somewhat eager as it rested upon Iselotta.

Medicine had always intrigued her, and she enjoyed dabbling in the subject from time to time. So it was no surprise that the young paladin arrived to hear the announcements. She honestly had no idea who would even be considered for the team, or if they were even going to be adding new people or simply promoting someone; but Imperia hoped that Lorraine might be recognized. She loved Lori and hoped that her friend would acknowledged for being absolutely amazing.

There were only two creatures that would fit into the description of medic in his mind; Lorraine and Wolfsbane. The former seemed to be a femme who knew what she was doing, as for the latter, Mie had never seen the male in action before. He had nothing to judge off of but he wouldn't be surprised if they made the team. Or maybe Lottie had only been considering on adding one? Who knew? Anyway, the two tailed kitsune was fatigued but present. The apprentice made his way listlessly to his mother and seated himself next to her.

tags - She had chosen? Ooh! The cream-colored tabby dashed over quickly to the other gathered Blizzardclanners, looking to Iselotta with a shining grin. To be honest, not even the medic trainee knew who was joining the medic team. It was very important business, and thus it was kept for the head medic mostly. Whoever it was, he was rather excited to find out, although he had a few people he expected. Maybe he would try to get to know the new medic better when he got more active- aka once finals week was finally over. It was still a little surprising, to be honest, to see this happening again- they had gone through three medics now. Only Eggpaw and Lottie remained, and it made him wonder if the new ones would stay this time.

Unlike his fiance, medicine was not something Alastor held any key interest in. Working with medicine acquired a lot skill, and Alastor's talent was elsewhere. He was gifted with music- writing it, singing it, performing it- something completely different from medicine. Working with medicine required a lot of patience, a drive to learn, memorization, etc. Not only that, but from what he has seen from Lottie, being a medic also required a lot of pressure and stress, ranging from picking new medic apprentices to trying to save someone's life. As the panther padded in, he found his eyes fixing onto the Head Medic. She had recently lost Benjamin, a friend of Lottie's, who happened to be a medic alongside her. This must have made things difficult, especially for making decisions for the future of the medic team. She didn't have someone else to give her their opinion to or help with the decision making, she had to do it all by herself. As he locked his gaze on her, he would sit himself near the edge of the crowd, distancing himself from the others. He would wrap his tail around his black paws, awaiting for his fiance to make her announcements regarding the medic team.
-
Witchpaw flicked an ear. Oh yes, the medic team was in constant turmoil, it seemed. He hoped this this new configuration would last. He took a faithful side by Eggpaw. He wondered who would make the team, slightly interested- if not mostly for Eggpaw.

//Apologies for late reply! Didn't want to have to post on mobile while out camping today and drop my phone into a river c:
Looking around the crowd of gathered faces, she sighed softly as she noted two that weren't present- but one that she was glad to see. There were many more, too, of course, but none of which she knew had an interest in medicine. "I wanted to extend my thanks for all who attended the poison prevention class, short as it was. I hope some useful information came out of it." Pausing briefly, Lottie lightly flicked her tail before she gathered in another breath. It was time to make her choice.
"I would like to start by giving a shout-out to Lorraine and Gingerbread. You were both high on my considerations, however, I would have liked to see more activity. If your activity can improve in the future, I would be more than happy to re-consider my decision and have you on the team. You may also come speak to me about this as well if you have any concerns."
"I would like to invite Celina to join the Medic Team as a Trainee. You've always shown to be resilient and kind, and I think you would be a good fit for the current team."
"Finally, Celina, if you choose to accept this position at all, do not fear of your current activity due to finals. Do well on your tests, and when you are finally free on your Summer break, I will be happy to see you around! Otherwise, I will be holding a new training for you two shortly and I'll get you caught up on what the Medic Team should expect in the future."

life's a dance you learn as you goYes, some useful information did come out of it, especially the bit about Aloe Vera. Even though it was important to know and be prepared, Çelina still found herself hoping she never have to use the things she learned. That presented the chance of a clanmate dying, or being unhappy, in the case of poison ivy, because of her, maybe even because of her lack of knowledge on certain subjects. Unbeknownst to her, that opportunity would come sooner than expected.
It was unfortunate to hear that both Lorraine and Gingerbread had been considered but not selected. She was sure they would've done an excellent job. Maybe, if the two - especially Gingerbread, who she rather missed seeing - were around more, they could step up, as the medic had said. And, perhaps Lottie had someone she thought better in mind who Çelina wasn't familiar with. Wolfsbane?
The femme wondered how how many times this week she'd be surprised like this. First, when Scout had told her how he felt, and now, as Lottie called her own name where she'd expected someone, anyone else. Her eyes widened in shock and slight confusion as she looked from Lottie to Eggpaw and then to Sweet. Maybe this was a dream. The path of a medic had crossed her mind a few times, but she always convinced herself they wouldn't want her on the team for some reason or another. Her bad memory, or her lack of complete confidence in some situations. But, this was her chance to help out. She couldn't protect her Clan the way Storm and so many others did, but she could try something that she, hopefully, would succeed in. It would feel great to have a mentor again, doing something she actually enjoyed rather than forcing herself to do something she didn't. But still, she found herself wanting to ask, 'Are you sure?' Instead, gaze returning to the head medic, the canine found herself saying, "Thank you so much, Lottie! I'll try my best and I'm excited to work with you, too, Eggpaw." Her voice wasn't as steady as she hoped and, after she had finished speaking, she attempted to slow her breathing, also realizing that her paws were shaking slightly. Yes, she was excited, but overwhelming nervous as well.
Then as she found Scout by her side, her fears subsided a little. She wouldn't be alone in this. The arctic wolf would have support, perhaps from more than just Scout. Even if she was the worst apprentice ever, she couldn't help but think Lottie would never give up on her, especially if she'd chosen her. Looking at the husky beside her, she smiled - as she always did around him - and aimed to nuzzle her own cheek against his. "Thank you," she said.
//thank you, pen and Quill! I'll try my hardest this summer, as well! x3 - sometimes you lead, sometimes you follow

Sweetophelia blinked, glancing around. It was a shame that Lorraine and Gingerbread weren't even present, but hopefully the pair would approach in time. They had potential but obviously the clan needed a medic who was timely - they couldn't have animals bleeding out to death while they waited now for medical aid, could they? "Congratulations, Çelina." She had long admired the young wolf's commitment to BlizzardClan.
-
Witchpaw grinned, seeing that one coming. Yes, Çelina was likely the best candidate in the entire clan. "Wow! Congratulations!" He said, and nudged Eggpaw. "New teammate, huh, Eggy?"
