  • The small girl fidgeted again, before hesitantly taking his hand and shaking it. "N-Nice to meet you, John. I-I'm Sumika Tsukimori." She introduced herself softly, once again brushing her long mop of raven purple hair out her left eye and over her right one. Hearing footsteps, the scarf clad female turned her head, seeing a few people walk by as well as a brunette male on his knees.

  • 'Little' John Bo Mjolnir - Weapon: Quarterstaff - Partner: Sumika Tsukimori

"Sumika. What a nice name. Are you new as well, Miss Tsukimori?" John asked. He noticed her look behind her, and saw Hideyoshi kneeling on the steps. "Friend," he called out to the Meister, "are you alright? Those stairs weren't too challenging, were they?" He didn't mean it to be teasing, but he often climbed the steps multiple times a day for his parents.

'Razor' Reybecca Sophia Zoroa - Meister - Partner: UNPARTNERED

Razor looked behind her, noticing another student kneeling at the top of the stairs. She rolled her eyes, but made no move to help or even acknowledge his presence. She slid through the corridors, looking at a hastily drawn number on her hand. "7-oh-4, huh? Well, I can't find the dam classroom anywhere." she muttered in mild annoyance, eyes angrily shooting from one label to another. Not a single one was room 704.

  • Wells took her time that morning. The blonde walked languidly down the streets of Death City with her nose buried in a book before halting at the staircase of the DWMA, where the formally-clad girl delicately tucked her book away into her messenger bag. "I'm here. The Death Weapon Meister Academy." Wells muttered, her cool crimson eyes drinking in the sheer greatness of the school's massive staircase. Well, obviously. As if the giant skulls and candles weren't enough. She thought, silently chiding herself for speaking so plainly and cliche.

The sight of the hundreds of stair steps was enough to exhaust Wells by simply looking at it, but the stoic nevertheless forced herself to begin ascending the entrance of the academy. She climbed slowly, and she paid little attention to those students around her; Wells was too focused on ignoring the wringing ache in her calves that had tortured her only after the first, she had counted, one-hundred and twenty-seven steps.

But her mind drifted. Wells was, like every other student new to the academy, overwhelmed by the new life awaiting them all at the DWMA. Aside from the work and anxiety that came with having to exercise her wanting interpersonal skills, what also worried Wells was how her new life would accommodate her religious... habits. Meeting shinigami at the DWMA would be enough to rekindle any buried disturbances about her suffocative childhood.

You need to focus. Don't be late to class on your first day. Wells snapped back into attention, her vision clearing as she dutifully tore herself away from her excessive rumination. The blonde then realized that she was now almost at the top of the staircase. She quickly counted---only fifty-seven steps left. With a deep sigh, Wells started to further push herself, exerting as much energy as she could as she began to bound up those last steps.

Once she made it to the top, Wells quickly scurried into the corridors of the DWMA, her heart racing at the prospective of shamefully being late to her first class.

  • Cress had begun his journey here many days ago. The DWMA was a pretty long distance from his home, so early travel was his best option. The only things he brought with him was a thick sketch book and some paints, carried in a black satchel around his waist. He wasn't accepted into any art schools, Cress was tipped about the DWMA, and set his heart on it.

And my were there a lot of stairs.

The school was huge, many flights of stairs leading up to it. Walking here would probably keep him in shape. Readjusting his glasses after the walk, it had worn him out, still the boy was ahead of many others. He was exhausted though. Falling down on the ground Cress took large breaths and tried to recover some before talking to anyone or going into the school.

'Razor' Reybecca Sophia Zoroa - Meister - Partner: Wells Languille

Razor made her way around the school, continuing to glance down at her hand every now and then as she tried to find room 704, which didn't exist. But she didn't know that. Growling in anger, she screamed loudly, "WHERE THE HELL IS ROOM 704?!"

  • "Where the hell is room 704?!" Someone had screamed, and Wells immediately whirled around to stare at the orange-haired, hulking, shrieking figure at the other end of the corridor. Her upper lip curled in annoyance as she looked the fellow student up and down, whom Wells presumed was also new to the academy.

The tall blonde started to stalk towards the loud, angry, newcomer, her scarlet eyes narrowed and face fuming with annoyance. "Would you please keep it down?!" Wells snarled, without thinking. She stuck her hand out. "Let me see your hand. I highly doubt the number you have scrawled on your palm exists in this academy." She flatly commanded.

Deep down, she was groaning. I have half the mind to leave this school if he... Wells shamelessly observed the short-haired girl's flat chest, her eyes completely devoid of any sexual interest. ...or she... is assigned my partner. She closed her eyes and mentally gave a silent prayer to her god. Lord, please don't give me this yelling spectacle! Wells begged.

  • Milo made it to room 104 and slowly entered, sighing with relief as she saw a handful of students. This must be where shes supposed to be. She pat her hair down before climbing a few steps and taking a seat in the very middle of the class room seating arrangement. She could call them bleachers but they were made of wood and had desks.

Ketsuki Stayed in her seat, examining others that she watched outside the window. She tried imagining what they would all look like as weapons and the different genders. The time before class was all she had to day dream and really relax. Though she wouldn't mind being interrupted for some small talk.

Kou Shoved his hands in his pockets and quickly ran up the stairs with out any trouble at all. Once he reached the top he turned around, glaring at the others left on the stairs, chuckling lightly as he turned to enter the academy. He didn't give much thought to the outside appearance all he wanted was to be in class... And cute girls but he wouldn't tell anyone that part.

  • 'Little' John Bo Mjolnir - Weapon: Quarterstaff - Partner: Sumika Tsukimori

"Oh, it sounds as though class is beginning to start. We should get going, Miss Tsukimori. No sense in being late on the first day of school." He flashed his kind and soft smile, (some might call it his signature) and gestured for Sumi to go ahead, and he follow. He knew right where he was going, too. Room 104.

'Razor' Reybecca Sophia Zoroa - Meister - Partner: Wells Languille

"Wha-hey! You don't get permission to start accusing me of being incompetent, missy!" Razor shouted, still a little irked, but she released her hand anyway, letting the obviously much calmer student read the obviously wrong number. Any smart person could make '104' out, if they had an ancient languages book and a magnifying glass, as the numbers were scrawled haphazardly across the palm. Not only that, but sweat had wet the ink, smudging it even more. An embarrassed blush hid behind mean eyes as she realized how many people were looking at her. To try and keep herself from looking like a deer in headlights, she shouted nice and loud, "what're y'all looking at?!" which dispersed the gathered students faster than if Lord Death himself had come strolling through the halls.

  • The sound of heeled boots clicked against the ground as a girl made it to the top of the steps. She looked around for a moment before her eyes landed on a small girl standing next to a guy, both looking at a male. She was about to snap at the younger for leaving her behind, before the guy spoke up. She huffed and brushed past. The blonde flicked her hair over her shoulder, walking in the class and sitting down, crossing one leg over the other.

Sumika squeaked, before nodding at John, heading towards the school. She blinked as a girl brushed by them, recognizing her friend immediately. She had been so excited and nervous earlier, she must have accidently left with out Rias. She would have to apologize later. Thankfully, she remembered the room number. Rias did often tease her on her random moments of lacking any sense of direction.

  • 'Little' John Bo Mjolnir - Weapon: Quarterstaff - Partner: Sumika Tsukimori

John followed Sumi into the classroom, choosing to take a front row seat. He really enjoyed being apart of a class, mostly because both Marie and Stein were teachers here when he was young, and so he spent a lot of time here, usually listening in at the back of classrooms, or with Lord Death, talking. A grin broke out on his face as he took a deep whiff of the classroom, breathing in the chalk dust, pencil lead, and paper smell that he so fondly remembered from his youth.

  • Wells blinked and briefly shut her eyes as Razor shouted at her. "I do not recall ever calling you incompetent!" She quickly snapped, struggling to keep her voice calm and steady. She refused to raise her voice and let it echo through the halls of the DWMA, and getting reprimanded for causing trouble was most definitely not in the attentive student's best interest.

But Razor's incessant shouting was getting to her. Wells' own face grew red with embarrassment as she watched other students scatter in all directions, and her ears had begun to faintly ring. Shaking her head, Wells sharply focused her gaze onto the incoherent chicken-scratch on Razor's palm. The intelligent girl could only identify the number '4,' impressively enough, as simply staring at the smudged writing was enough to give her a massive headache.

Wells sighed and lightly let go of Razor's wrist. Her voice quieted, and she pointed at a doorway slightly further down the corridor. "Assuming you are a new student as well, you are likely searching for room 1-0-4," She enunciated. She looked back up at Razor, her gaze scrutinizing the taller girl. Her voice was quickly without its former annoyance. "I suggest you take a little more time when writing notes to yourself, especially on the most sweaty areas on the human body. Perhaps next time you will invite less attention to yourself."

  • Kou passes a girl in heals with blonde hair and slowed down to a normal pace so he keep his eyes on her just with a glance. Looking forwards after he had his fill of cute girl, he stopped infront of class 103 and sighed, crossing the hall into 104 to where he was supposed to be. He saw a few students, not yet a teacher but he helped himself to a seat at the top and relaxed.

Rachel whipped her hand away, free from the other girl's scrutiny. "... Thanks," she whispered, the blush appearing again as she stuffed her hands in her pockets, pushing past to go find the now-findable classroom. She was hunched over, as she claimed a seat in the back row, kicking her feet up on the desk.

  • ((Right now, everyone is pretty much just making their way up the stairs of the DWMA or getting to/in room 104, presumably one of the first classes that will start ^^ I'd recommend perhaps getting your charrie perhaps in/to room 104, since that's where everyone seems to be headed right now))

"You're welcome." Wells answered simply, staring after Razor as she walked away. A flicker of amusement touched her eyes. She had taken care to observe the two instances that Razor had blushed, and Razor's behavioral contradictions intrigued Wells in a good, not-too-critical way. She also derived a sense of satisfaction from peering through the rambunctious girl's tough exterior.

A small, rare smile playing on her lips, Wells quietly followed Razor into the classroom and seated herself next to the taller girl. "Not so tough all the time, are you?" She flatly asked Razor, watching the other students file in. She then closed her eyes, her stature nevertheless poised and her back straight as she attempted to get some pre-class shut-eye. "Your shoes are also untied, you know." Wells mumbled.

  • //Thanks!
Ah, first day of school at the DWMA! Likaa was pretty excited, as this wasn't like his last school, a 'normal' school. At his other school, he was considered odd for being a weapon. But now he didn't have to hide that fact, and that made him quite happy. He was wearing an over-sized black hoodie and a white tank top with black skinny jeans with rips at the knees. A pretty standard outfit, honestly. He was jogging through the cobble streets, making his way to the stairs of his new school. He had heard how long they were, but he seriously didn't expect them to be that long. His jaw almost dropped when he saw them. He didn't enjoy physical exercise outside of his weapon form, so this would be a pain. The room he had to get to was room 104, if he survived the walk up the stairs that is. He began his walk up the stairs, grumbling softly to himself. Walking was enough, but carrying a backpack as well was just plain exhausting. He passed by other students, ignoring them mainly as he wasn't what you would call a people person.
//Sorry if I'm wrong about what I should be doing. xD.

'Razor' Reybecca Sophia Zoroa - Meister - Partner: Wells Languidly
Razor gave Wells a death glare, but somehow she knew it wouldn't deter the other student. "Only when I need to be," she mumbled, making herself comfortable. A quick glance at her shoes solidified Wells' comment, although Razor made no move to fix them.

  • This school is such an interesting place... Cress had been wandering for the most part. He perferred the slow route to the objective. Eventually he got to room 104, but it didn't suprise him that some people were already there. He could just avoid them right? Trying not to make eye contact, Cress found his way to the top section. Maybe I can just sit back for a while. He took a sketchbook out of the satchel at his side and a pencil, then enjoyed his form of relaxation without a smile.

  • Hideyoshi opened the door to room 104. After briefly scanning the room, he spotted Milo. He made his way over to her, dropping a notebook on the elongated desk and taking a seat next to her. "Hi." He said, barely looking her in the face. He examined the other students carefully, studying their faces and behavior. "Some crowd, I see."

  • Though the stair haul was long and left the male a bit winded at the end, he felt it was an accomplishment that he had made it thus far. He smiled, laughing a bit to himself out of joy before entering the large school and beginning to search for his classroom. After a few moments of searching, he quickly found it. Room 104. He walked in quietly, spotting a few other students already there made him a bit nervous. He didn't enjoy being around others much, but he would just have to adapt. The weapon looked around, grabbing a seat close to the wall he sat down and opened his backpack, pulling out a sketch pad and a pencil and beginning to sketch the classroom before him.
