  • A few days after her discovery on the border and the Clan's subsequent offer to help her get well again, Mouse crouched just outside the old twoleg den that made up the medicine cat den. She wasn't moving much, only creeping out of the sun into a more sheltered patch as the day progressed, but she wasn't doing nothing. No, in fact the former loner had taken to watching the Clan cats interact with each, gauging each personality and storing it away in her mind should she ever find herself talking to these cats. Not that she'd be particularly willing to initiate conversation, but just in case. Besides, watching these cats was helping her decide whether or not she should officially join this Clan, or leave when Wasppaw declared her sound enough.

    Minnownose
sorry if it's a bit short!

  • Minnownose, for once, was alone. She loved the Clan, and everyone in it-one way or another-but the talkative group sometimes got a bit...much. She was quite the extrovert, but even she had to sit and watch the world go by once and a while. Not that she minded. The tabby sat in one corner of the camp, watching cats come and go. It was fascinating, how they worked and communicated together. Her eyes fell on Mouse, and realized she didn't quite know the she-cat. All she knew was that she was almost exclusively in Wasppaw's den. The lilac tabby rose to her paws and made her way over. She figured they may as well cat-watch together, "Hello! I'm Minnownose, mind if I join you?"

  • Dipping her broad head in greeting, Mouse peered up at her Clanmate. "Not at all. I'm Mouse. It's nice to meet you, Minnownose." And it was, as Mouse had been feeling a little stressed out about approaching just any cat that was in the camp. This way she could talk to Minnownose, get to know what would be expected of her in the Clan, perhaps, and she wouldn't even be intruding upon what could be a private conversation.

But first she must be polite. "How are you today?"

  • Minnownose sat lightly beside Mouse. She took a broad look around the camp before answering, making sure she wasn't needed before starting a conversation. She wasn't. "I'm alright. A long night between patrolling and things, but nothing out of the ordinary," Minnownose replied, "How about you? How are you feeling? I'm sure Wasppaw will have you as good as new before you know it."
