I'm thinking about making it where there's a land of dragons, and everything's fine, until and organization of dragon hunters, known as the Legion of Beowulf, are finally powerful enough to conquer the dragons, so they ravage their land. The head dragon tells the other dragons to scatter to different places. One dragon wants her and her eggs to be safe, so she travels to a human town (I'm still deciding whether this will be medieval or modern.) She was given magical herbs, which when she eats one, will momentarily turn her into a human. She was given this by the head dragon, since not only did they want dragons to disguise themselves if a human spots them, but to also gain info about humans so they can find their weaknesses and end the human plague. (Metaphorical, obviously.) However, the mother dragon meets a human/humans that she becomes friends with, and finds out that the head dragon is a tyrannical liar, and that not all humans are bad. THE she dragon becomes conflicted, not knowing if she should continue to side with the dragons, or he nice humans. Things get worse when the Legion starts roaming around the town she's in. Eventually, there might even be an all out war between dragonslayers, dragons, and the humans and dragons who are on neither side, but their own side. I was also considering doing a plot about a venom that can turn humans into dragons.
IDK, this is a work in progress. I might change some things. I also had an idea for another thread, that uses the dragon history I created, but I might make that into a story instead, rather than a thread. -

True, true. Should I make it medieval or modern? I'm leaning more towards modern, but I feel people won't join if it's modern. Also, I'm thinking the title should be something like "What do I do?" or "What Should I do?", but idk. What do you think it should be? Any suggestions?

Yeah, wasn't sure. I wanted it to be in modern day, but you seemed like you preferred medieval better. Like I said, I had another different idea for a dragon thread, only this one was set in medieval times, but I'm probably going to make that into a book instead of a thread.
