  • This was her second class in the District. The first herb class had gone pretty well and she had had the people who came take their baskets to their dens to keep the seeds and leaves safe for the next class. Calling to no one in particular as she usually did, she yelled "Herb classes if you want them!" She would have phrased that differently but something was telling her that if she wanted that head nurse position, she needed to act more mature. She sat down quietly and waited for people to arrive while turning her claws into cat fingers.

"Hmm, again?" the principle would say, making her way over in a sleepish and bored manner. Of course she would never try to act rude, she was simply just surprised that the water bird would host two herb classes in a row. Never less she would make her self appear in the forming group, happy that the growing clan was gaining activity, even if it was in simple stuff like this.

  • "Hey Windchimes, did you bring your basket back? If not, I have plenty of extra herbs." Wavewing said this as she stood up and morphed into a small blue cat with wings. She found this form to be more convenient when she was inside a lot and had to walk rather than fly. Noticing Grey nearby, she sent a feeling of the need to learn herbs towards him, secretly forcing him to come.

and now he's so devoid of color, he don’t know what it means—___

Greyscale had just been passing by, nothing important. He wasn't a naturally active person, and would much rather wander the mostly-empty corridors of the school than attend a class. However, he doubted Windchimes would approve of that. Upon hearing the call for another herb class, the demon was suddenly filled with the desire to participate, despite his knowledge and interest in herbs and medical affairs. He could only assume that it was either Wavewing herself messing with his mind or his conscience telling him to be a good person for once. Regardless, Greyscale arrived somewhat early, silently sitting down with a nod to greet the usual attendees - Windchimes and, of course, Wavewing. There were a few NPCs there that he vaguely remembered meeting, though he wasn't planning to interact with them again any time soon.

  • Herb class? That was like medicine right? It wouldn't hurt to come, it could be fun. A good warrior needed to be well rounded in her skills! The Australian Shepherd would go over with a smile, saying "mind if I join in?"

  • "Not at all! Please take a basket of herbs off my desk and sit. Today we are working with yarrow. This is a more traditional herb and is used to remove poison from wounds when it's leaves are chewed into a politics. This leaf is very helpful in the case of snake bites, poison ____ and other things. As it is a poultice, you place it on the wounds. Swallowing yarrow will make you puke which is helpful in cases of someone eating poison berries or rotten meat. This class is not very hands on however, I have made ice models of some of the things that can poison someone. Those will be the cases when yarrow is most helpful. If you do want to inspect the leaf, it is in your basket, right on top." She always felt her classes got a bit rambley but she felt it was very informative and that the stuff would come in handy later on.

  • At the instructions, Swiftspots would grab a basket and take a seat. She was eager to listen, eager to learn. Yarrow? Helped with poisonous things? Hopefully she'd remember that. The canine gave a nod, and would peer into her basket. There were only a couple on the top, she had a good chance of getting this right? Swift would reach in and grab a leaf that Timur couldn't figure out to describe, so she would simply say that it was indeed yarrow, and hold it up so Wavewing could see. "This one?" She asked, tilting her head in question.
