  • The male had gone off for a few days to spend time with his mother, and although he hadn't told anyone, he had the feeling they would accept the fact he wanted some peace and quiet away from camp. True, it wasn't like life was hectic at the moment in Windclan, but he still needed to spend some time with his family every once in a while. Besides, he had brought gifts back. Due to his heritage, most of the items were silver and gold, but he had the feeling his clanmates would understand. They might even like the jewelry he had been sent back with. Like, there was necklaces and earrings, knives and swords. He was sure at least someone would take a liking to them. And if not, he didn't mind keeping them. He thought the lot of them looked quite cool.

  • Luke hadn't seen the pup now that he thought about it, but he hadn't worried too much. You just couldn't possibly keep up with everyone every single day. Seeing the younger adviser now, he smiled and broke from his path to move toward him. It never hurt to say hello. "Hey, Weed. Whatcha got there?" he asked, noticing the items.

  • "Oh- I visited my mother recently, look at all the cool stuff she gave me!" Weed would respond, grabbing a silver necklace from the basket and holding it out to Luke. It was most certainly up to the other whether or not they accepted to hold it, or just simply look at it. Perhaps Luke would even take it. The young adviser certainly had enough to go around.

  • The strangest thing was that Oliver had never thought of Weed's family. The mention of it made the griffin feel guilty, almost certainly because he'd always thought Weed was like him; alone. "Those're nice," he commented as he strode over with a nod. "Where does your mom live?" Perhaps he could make up for it a little more by talking and learning about his family now.

  • Turning towards Oliver as the other came near, the canine would frown for a second- his fictional brows furrowing. "She doesn't really live anywhere- nor does my father, they sort of just.. travel" the adviser would respond, his blue gaze blinking. Perhaps that would explain things to leader. If not.. well Weed sort of just didn't know how to put it another way. Not to mention, he didn't even know his father. He just knew his father and mother were quite close, but that was about it.

  • Like Oliver, Luke hadn't thought about Weed even having a family. With some hesitance, he took the necklace to look at it closer before nodding slightly with a smile. "She gave you all this? Huh, she's quite generous." He extended his paw to return the necklace, "You think we would get to meet her some time?"

  • The serval had been watching from a distance so far, the news of Weed's visit causing him to reflect on his own parents. He had been a rather poor child to his mother. He had actually never spoken to her again after he had left her clan. Although there was no changing the past, he still wished he could go back and spend some time with his mother. To be honest though, he had always been closer to his father, at least until he eventually left him as well. His father was actually to blame for his old habits, but he hadn't much cared at the time, as his father had taught him much. Heck, his father had even taught him some swordsmanship.

Amatus couldn't help but find the information about Weed's parents being loners interesting. Perhaps that was simply because he too had spent a large portion of his life on the road. He couldn't quite say for sure. After some recollections, the sword wielding serval decided to finally approach. At Luke's question, he couldn't help but imagine the woman who would decide to name her child "Weed" as it was admittedly an odd name. He supposed she must be rather lovely person based off of the rather extravagant gifts she gave her pup.
