  • Lilith sighed softly the female was swimming casually through the crystal clear water. She was near the island where the pups often played. Though she was in human form her senses were on full alert since Vladimir was playing near by playing. The blonde and usually pale alpha looked up at the bright blue sky. "I need to assign some mated pairs the pack needs to grow. Hm I wonder if anyone is interested in someone."she murmured. The alphas always assigned mated pairs just for breeding, though the pairs only stayed together until the female became pregnant. If the paired loved each other they could stay together if not they could split. A soft splash was heard as she twisted back to her front side swimming back towards the pup island. Once she made it the female climbed onto the sturdy dock grabbing her towel to wrap around herself.

  • A red furred wolf lay in her cave on the territory of the Deep Seas pack. Her fur was spiky and clotted with blood. Verona stirred as her violet-blue eyes opened. Her tongue lolled out as she tried to sit up. Her brother was going to be coming back from a hunt soon and the young female was very excited. Dull throbbing reminded her of the wounds on her flank, shoulder and ear. The one wound on her ear was getting annoying, every time she flicked the ear back or forward, it would flick blood everywhere...ugh. "Soryn, you here?" The teen were asked softly.

A golden colored wolf paused before he pounced on his prey, a young rabbit. His jaws closed around the prey as Soryn sat up, ears flicking back and forth to make sure none from the pack had heard him. He had to be careful, with his little sis hurt and all, they were vulnerable if found out. Soryn trotted back towards his sister, entering the cave before he lay the food down before her. Hey little sis, I'm back... His voice rumbled, comforting the skittish female as she ate hungrily. Sadly she only finished about a third of the prey.

  • Aurelia had settled into a comfortable spot in the front of the hospital, on one of the many chairs by the pool. Her blue eyes were intently focused on a book, one leg bent upwards and resting against the armrest of the chair. The other was splayed out over the white towel. Her long, somewhat curly locks were pulled back into a sort of rushed up-do. The nurse was eagerly studying the uses of coconut water as an antioxidant. She was kind of a geek for medicine. As a nurse, it was her job to make sure the pack was healthy, and leave the bigger medical issues to the doctors. Or doctor, singular. Though she truly aspired to be promoted to the prestigious rank of doctor someday. She hummed softly, the gentle breeze blowing the free strands of hair all around her face.

Declan had his hands tucked away into his pockets as he made his way through the shops in the little town. The climate on these islands was a stark contrast to the cold weather of his native Ireland. He liked it, despite the sunburns he often got when in the sun for too long. He gazed around, his sea-green gaze lingering on the assorted shops all around him. It was a rather lazy day, but even still, perhaps he would find some suitable interaction?

  • Soryn gazed at the sky before sighing, he needed to get bandages for his sister, and she would have to pose as a dog...he wouldn't leave her on her own. The male shifted into his human form and breathed out heavily, stretching his arms out as his shoulders popped back into place. "Hey sis, we need to go into town, and I'm sorry but since it's the town, I'm not leaving you here vulnerable..." He rested a hand on the bloody fur of his sister as the two headed into town. The male gently told his sister to stay as his golden eyes found a male (Declan) that was walking around. "Hide, and keep to the shadows, don't move...please sis." Soryn murmured, ushering her into an ally before he went to a store across the street, looking for bandages and food.

  • Rachel Teyla Luttrell “Beyond the night the battle won"

Rachel woke up with a yawn and look around the room before standing and streatched out her sleep worn muscles. " I wonder what will be going on to day" she muttered to herself."

Seth was up dresses and drinking his first up of coffee as he looked over some of the artifacts he had found I some of the near by cave systems that also had some ancient cave paintings that he planned to decipher with some help.

    ISABELLE LOVELACE

    FEMALE & TWENTY-SEVEN & NURSE

The dark haired beauty had already been up and ready to go by the time the others started to stir awake or make an appearance for today. She had found herself in a chair on the one of the balconies at the Hospital in a leather-like, fitted shirt that had a high neckline on it with an army green jacket pulled over it, a pair of shorts, and a pair of knee-high heeled boots that lived up in the front (which is typical style for Izzy). She had a leg tossed over the other and in one of her hands was a cup of coffee. Her unusual blue gaze focused on her surrounding while she listened to the soft sounds of the morning that echoed in her ears.

Isabelle was content with her position in the pack. Sure, she probably could have already become something like a doctor already. She could have had it years ago. However, despite the fact that as a nurse she tended to get to do a lot of the more cringy work, she still had no desire to climb ranks. That meant, when the demand for medical attention was high, she would have a lot of work on her hands. She couldn't say she minded that though.

The goddess, outside of her houghts, simply continued to sit in utter silence. Her expression was soft despite its constant shifting and her limps had found themselves frozen in the state of content. On the outside, she seemed to be simply enjoying the silence for the time being.

    ALASTAIR BLACKTHORN

    MALE & TWENTY-THREE & PACK MEMBER

Alastair's dark eyes flew open and his body leaned upwards as if he had been awoken by a nightmare or a not so pleasant dream. If he were to be honest, he wasn't sure what he had been dreaming about the second the light that filled the room shown in his gaze, but that wa probably a good thing.

The dark haired boy pushed his hair through his messy locks of dark hair before he heaved himself off of his bed, his feet brushing against the cold flooring that and who the building. Not bothering to even check the time before hand, once he was on his feet, he was quick to began to move. He dressed himself in a simple outfit as, like most more masculine subjects, he really didn't care all too much about dressing up or anything. He also managed to tame his hair in some sort of way and throw on some shoes before he made his way across the room. He pulled open the door and shifted out of the room with his usual, guarded expression.

CHOI NARIIt's a good thing that Nari was able to accomplish her duties early. She wasn't sure how long Hana could stand to wait any longer, not with her incessant fidgeting and puppy dog eyes.

It had been quite a while since the two of them had visited the island meant for the pups to play in, and Nari admits that she misses the air of relaxation the area has.

Just as she is about to take a breather, her posture goes rigged as she spots one of the other wolves, the alpha female.

Quickly, Nari stands at attention, ready to serve, should she be ordered, and stands resolutely by the shade of the trees, watching with a hawk-eye and keeping an ear to the alpha female, should she require any sort of assistance. It's the least Nari could do, after they had taken the risk of bringing her under their roof as one of their own.

CHOI HANAMommy had told you a few hours ago that since she had finished early, she would bring you there, but you didn't put much faith into it. It wouldn't be the first time that another duty would be placed upon her, and this visit would be postponed. You would understand that, of course, but always, always, you will find yourself a little disappointed, no matter how much you try to hide it, and Mommy will always end up finding out, nevertheless.

That's why, today, you are grinning from ear-to-ear. Nothing interrupted your little getaway, and Mommy is—you turn to look at her, and find that a frown has replaced your features then. Mommy isn't relaxing at all. Why?

This place was as much a relaxation for you as it was for her; it was why you're so persistent about going here every now and then! Quickly, you scan the beach to find out what has her so focused. It does take you quite a while, because your senses aren't as well developed yet, but eventually, you spot a figure in the waters, a figure that undoubtedly belongs to one of the leaders of the pack: Lilith.

Oh, that's why! Knowing why doesn't change anything, because you are left ignorant on what to do, and it sucks not knowing what to do. The best thing she can do is distract Mommy long enough that she forgets that the alpha is there.

At least there, she has an idea, but Hana knows it's only temporary. "Mommy, come and help me build a sand castle, please!" After a moment of hesitation, her mother comes over and begins to help her. Within a few moments, a sizeable and elegant sand castle stands, and her mother is distracted enough that her shoulders aren't so tense.

NICHOLAS SOMMERSTANDBY (Not sure what to do with him, yet.)

  • Lilith smelled the others rather quickly. A small smile graced her lips watching the mother and daughter. She had been giving it a lot of thought lately about the polite woman known as Nari. She watched Vladimir playing in the sand digging and sniffing out things in his young wolf pup form. She shook her head then approached Nari and Hana."Hello Nari. Nice sand castle Hana."she said warmly. Her long wet blonde hair went to her hips, it being wet made it seem a bit longer then usual. She gave of a aura of seriousness though her smile was warm."I'd like to speak with you for a moment Nari if that would be alright?"

  • CHOI NARIAnd suddenly, the bliss between mother and daughter is broken.

Nari finds herself a little disoriented from the sudden distraction, but hearing her leader's voice quickly sends her to attention, though she pales considerably when Lilith asks to speak to her alone.

There's no excuse to decline, (nor could she even dare,) so she politely nods, and keeps her gaze on the ground as she stands and takes a very short moment to dust off the sand that had gathered on her gypsy skirt. "Of course, alpha. Shall we talk of this here or...?" Should it be in private?

She lets the last words remain unspoken, but she wonders all the same if it's something grave in nature.

CHOI HANA"Yup! Thank you, miss Lilith." You cheerfully yip, but you eventually force yourself to calm down enough to show some semblance of respect and reverence as your mother taught you.

That is, until miss Lilith mentioned needing your mother for something.

Talk? Why would she need to talk to Mommy? Are the two of us in trouble? But why? We were always on good behaviour!

Unconsciously, you grip on your mother's skirt, lightly so as not to accidentally pull it off, and give your mother a worried look, who only smiles in return and pats your head, telling you not to worry.

That doesn't erase your doubts, but it does help to calm you down and put you at ease by just a bit.

Solemnly, you nod, before returning to your sand castle, though you are mightily distracted, and less focused on your task.

    NICHOLAS SOMMER
Don't know what to do with him yet. Will write him up tomorrow.

  • Lilith smiled softly."Here is fine. You are not in any trouble im fact I believe it's a good thing."she said softly. She looked at the two then spoke calmly."I think you would do well as a nurse here. Our current nurses do really well. However I think someone with your nature is needed to help. You do not have to take this position, you also may have time to think it over."she said softly. It was very rare for the alpha to ever give positions unless the person had absolutely earned it.

  • Soryn laughed as he walked alongside his sister, the red wolf limping heavily until he stiffened. The smell of pack wolves hitting his nose, many scents. One had the power of an alpha, so his guess by her (he assumed it was a female) scent. His postured changed dramatically as he guided his little sister to the shadows, shifting into his golden wolf form and standing over his sister as her legs collapsed form under her. He nuzzled her gently, growling softly to make sure no one (if scented) would come too close.

  • Lia closed her book with a snap. A sigh escaped her lips, as she lazily got to her feet, as she made her way barefooted towards the pack's home, where everyone lived. Her feet sunk into the sand and she couldn't help but smile. She loved it here, very much so. Her eyes flickered to watch Nari and Lilith interact. Though, she would like to share her happiness with someone. Anyone, really. She continued walking, almost aimlessly.
    --
Declan froze, seeing movement among the shadows in an alleyway. That was not unusual, considering that small children and animals liked to hide among the various alleyways within the town. He slowly made his way towards the alley, his eyes adjusting to see a blonde canine, seemingly injured, laying on the ground. His eyebrows raised in surprise, and as he was about to help, another man skirted around the corner. Declan flipped to the other side of the wall, not daring to look until they had their backs to him. He quietly began to follow them since he hadn't seen the blonde wolf around before.

  • CHOI NARI"I..." Left speechless, Nari stares blankly at the alpha. Was she hallucinating this whole exchange?

Ah—! Nari quickly looks down, and sees that her daughter has taken the liberty of pinching her arm, having already sensed what she must be thinking. So this isn't a cruel dream, then.

Still, that gets Nari wondering. It's true that she particularly lingered in the clinics and helped out a lot more there, in comparison to the other places, but did she have training? No, she believed that she did not, and Nari isn't going to let that conveniently slip through the conversation all because of her selfishness.

"I'm sorry to question your authority, but is this... Is that wise?" That sounded a lot more disrespectful and insubordinate than what she had tried for, but she continues. "I mean, I'm not trying to question your judgment, but I have no formal training, and—!" Another pinch on her arm and a strong tug. Nari, once again looks down, and meets the pouting face of her young daughter. It seems that Hana really wants her to just go with it, but Nari's not completely comfortable with that.

"Nevermind, I'm sorry. This is just surprising? I am honored. Incredibly. But, uhm..." She pauses, gaze uncertainly circling the ground. "If you would allow it, yes, I'd like some time to think about this first."

CHOI HANAThis was... This is great news! Your mother had always hoped to provide a greater contribution to the community. (Well, to be exact, she wanted to feel as if she were trusted through the provision of responsibilities, but they can be classified as the same thing. The exact technicalities don't matter right now.)

You look up, but Mommy doesn't look as pleased as you are feeling. Why? She should be ecstatic and happy about this, right? Mommy's probably worrying about something small again. Deciding that you were going to have to be the adult here, you reach out and pinch her arm, shaking her out of her reverie.

It does the trick, but when she looks at you, there's still no sign of elation that you would expect at the news of a promotion. Her expression is still grim, but Mommy looks like she's relaxed. A bit. Maybe enough to just accept the job?

When your mom addresses the alpha lady again, you frown, because apparently, Mommy did not relax at all. This is her chance! She should just take it, and you also want to be able to help around, too! Again, you pull at her arm, and this time, she quiets, but when she finally answers the alpha lady once more, at least she's considering it. It's better than nothing, and you decide that you shouldn't interfere with the adults too much now. Mommy can handle herself for now, probably.

Instead, you head over to the small white puppy over to the side. "Whatcha searching?"

NICHOLAS SOMMERIn the sandby beaches, there's a body.

Sounds pretty alarming, doesn't it? Well, don't worry it's not a dead one.

"Guh—!" Look, he's sputtering already. He's alive and breathing, and all too quickly, he sits up, eyes red and watery, and coughs up water. Nicholas here is still trying to get his bearings, so give him a minute or two. Let him wipe his eyes and and calm his breaths.

    ...

There, he's relaxed, untroubled, unruffled. Well, maybe not the last two, evident by the sad look Nicholas gives the ocean, as if beyond the waters was their family or something. (Well, there's that, but that isn't the main reason for his melancholy.)

What's really bothering him is that the raft he was floating on is nowhere to be seen. That raft took him a few days to build. Days that could have been used to explore the island, but he didn't want to be stuck here any longer.

The smart voice in his head would often try to argue: "It's a lot more rational to actually stay on the island itself, where there is likely to be food and other necessities, rather than be out on the open ocean. Do you even know where you're going to go once you actually set sail? What if you run out of food and water?"

Well, sucks for you, brain. Nicholas only paid attention to that thought now, and he groans angrily, hands on his face, but he doesn't lay back down. He's not the brightest, but no way is he getting more sand in his body. He's already had the unfortunate accident of finding a bunch of sand down there where the sun don't shine. Suffice it to say, it was terrible.

Okay, I'm listening now, my brain. What would be the "rational" thing to do here? But, of course, when he does choose to listen, nothing comes to mind, and he grumbles.

"God, why couldn't I have been stranded in a populated island?" Little did he know that he actually was, but that's to be saved for another time, because his stomach is demanding attention.

For now, he sighs and slowly shifts back to his lupine form, before padding through the jungles, in search of some food.

  • The blonde wolf snarled as Declan came into his view, his teeth bared as his posture stiffened. His form was large, his eyes stunningly just as golden as his coat. He didn't want this pack wolf near his sister, he could tell by the scent that the male belonged to a pack. That meant they were very close to the pack, this wasn't good. Soryn crouched, his tail lowered as his ears flattened, his sister unde rhim, her red coat barely visible under his golden fluff.

Verona blinked her violet-blue eyes slowly, her brother was upset. The female made a brave attempt to growl when her brother stepped over her. It was an attempt, but ended in a whine as pain shot through her. Her brother lowered his head to nuzzle her soothingly before crouching over her, shielding her from any harm. Her fur was bristling, her ears flattened as she whined softly...her form trembling slightly. She was scarred. Rian, what's going on? she asked softly, her voice scared.
