Right now you seem so far away — DeyVarah Shaia — Blizzardclan — She/Her/They/Them —

[fancypost=border-width:0px; width: 450px; text-align: justify; font-size: 8pt; line-height: 125%]DeyVarah had just started her little forge, it had taken a while for her hut to be renovated to be able to fit her forge as well as her things. She had asked for help to get this done so that she may start her little business that she wanted to start for a while now, and now she can. Thanks to her lovely clanmates she was able to get things done much quicker then she would alone which was quite nice and it surprised her to be honest, but she appreciated it. Now she was sitting on the inside of her hut looking at the beautiful forge, she had gotten all the resources for it and some others decided with her permission to add some things to it. She knew that this forge was one of the kind, and she knew that only her clan had something like this, well...at least she knew.

She approached her furnace and moved some wood into it so that she may start a fire, one step at a time she will get things started. She slowly got everything started, quite uncertain and how things are suppose to be. Everything she was doing she was going off of memory from her snow leopard tribe, from the blacksmith that was there when she would watch him, which was often. She at least knew that basics and would learn from then on, but not when the incident happened to her. All she knows is that the fire rose up too quickly for her to get away and her front legs, up to her shoulders, got burn. A scream rose from her as she collapsed, groaning in pain as the fur on her front legs were singed off and black, clearly burned.

  • [fancypost=width:50%; text-align:justify; font-size:9; font-family:georgia;]Rarely was a scream every good, which got the panther bounding towards the scene as quickly as she could. She knew that DeyVarah had a bit of a blacksmith trait about her- and had even considered asking her about getting something made for herself or Alastor, but she didn't expect that she would wind up in an accident like this. Burns weren't ever easy to treat, since it was really up to time, and pain management- and ensuring that no nerves or the flesh itself wasn't too badly damaged. "Shh, sh, it'll be alright," Lottie would reassure as quickly as she could as she stilled her paws at the scene, glancing around briefly to see who else was around- but as of this moment, it was only her.

Taking a place at Dey's side, she would gently usher the other wildcat away from the forge just the littlest bit to put them both in a safer area before reaching into her medic bag for a little canteen of water to gently trickle on the burns to help start soothing them a little bit while she assessed the damage. "Can you still feel your legs?"

Of course, when he found out where the scream had come from it was no better. Swallowing thickly, his eyebrows would furrow and he'd let his gaze dart between DeyVarah and Lottie. "Oh my goodness..." he'd muster out almost breathlessly, still frightened, which was more than evident by the expression on his face. "I-- Is there anything I can do to help, Lottie?" he did not want to sit back and watch as someone screamed in pain. It hurt so much to watch.

    Character: Lambda/Crynid "Cry"

IC: Tsk, the fox clicked her tongue out of annoyance as an ear-piercing scream rang in her ears. "The hell,
    was that?"
She moaned. Obviously no good could come from such a sound. Shortly after following the
direction the sound came from, she found Iselotta tending to another clanmate. She was about to ask what
happened, when she saw the large fire however, she was able to piece together what occurred.

The fox walked past the two, and stood in front of the raging fire. The fox strained herself to surround the
fire in thick ice. She was aware the ice would soon melt, but she hoped to at least restrain the fire of air long
enough for it to die down. Also, if the ice did happen to melt after the fire died down, the water from the
melted ice could potentially help as well.
