ALL LOVING HERO — tries to befriend everyone and anyone, is willing to die for a complete stranger (this is even lamented by chara) and will do just about anything to make someone's day a little bit brighter.

ANGST COMA — went into one after they hit their one year anniversary on feralfront and all events of the previous year came flooding back to them due to the sight malfunctioning; didnt wake up for two weeks and was basically trapped with their internal demons. see 'break the cutie', 'trauma-induced amnesia', 'trauma button', or 'dark and troubled past' for more information.

ANXIETY DREAMS — most of these are actually memories that have been blocked off by their mind (see 'trauma-induced amnesia' and 'trauma button' for more information) but they are often exaggerated and people who weren't originally there may appear, invoking this trope.

BACKPORTED DEVELOPMENT — frisk has gone through a lot of development, but only some things have stuck around.

BADASS PACIFIST — self-explanatory.

BECAME THEIR OWN ANTITHESIS — atychiphobia.

BERSERK BUTTON — gordon (and anyone else they care about, for that matter) being threatened or attacked does not bode well for anyone who isn't frisk. touching their flowers without permission and attempting to enter their mind is also a nice way to get them to try and gut you. oh, and so is abusing their trust or manipulating them.

BEWARE THE NICE ONES — aside from the fact that this little amnesiac sweetheart has helped put an end to their original world (see 'dark and troubled past' for more information), frisk has been less than friendly to those who push their buttons, the best example being when cassidy was kidnapped by the cartel; they and radioactiveplague invaded the place just to start up some hell. frisk is also prone to snapping at people who they don't really trust, such as darkstalker-- but their trust can easily be regained with just a few words here and there.

BODY HORROR — and how. frisk is usually covered in bright yellow flowers, giving them an adorably cute appearance upon first glance. however, if one were to remove the flowers, they'd be in for a nasty shock, considering that the plants have blossomed over hideous scars, such as one that travels twistedly from up their collarbone to their jawline, and then they have a large, gaping hole in their left cheek, the remaining flesh there disgusting and charred. not to mention its painfully obvious that half of these wounds are infected, but frisk hasn't taken the time to treat them fully for god knows why.

BREAK THE CUTIE — the poor kid! they've always been nice at best, but the more they learn about how harsh this world is (and any world, for that matter), the less optimistic they become. they've watched loved ones be captured and tortured (gordon, kate), loved ones capture and torture other loved ones (mercy and sango, radio and takumi) and finally sat there helplessly as they watched their father get killed before their very own eyes by one of the many people they swore to protect him from! and for some fridge horror, its note-worthy to mention that after their father (who came back from the dead) abandoned them they went to stay in their fathers murderers clan. see 'byronic hero' for more information.

BYRONIC HERO — really, frisk is much more complex when it comes to being weighed on the scale of good and evil, black and white. they destroyed their world but not out of selfish intent; it was for the good of everyone, as the world simply was too far gone and was doomed to die anyway-- but it doesn't change the fact that they just killed off an entire planet, and erased a timeline on top of that. and then there is their own experiences here in feralfront; after funhaus was killed, the first thing frisk does is move in with his murderer. sure, they hadn't been aware that bill cipher would be in the rebellion (let alone did they know that they're a leader there) but they argued that they wanted to stay anyway, because it looked "cool". the carnival is cool, but living with your parents killer is not. they undoubtedly flounder in some sort of grey, but how dark is that grey? how light?

CHILDREN ARE INNOCENT — while frisk is morally ambiguous at the moment, there is little to no doubt that they have a heart as gold as the flowers on their body.

CONDITIONED TO ACCEPT HORROR — or atleast, they were like this in the underground. not so much here in feralfront, but they're getting there.

CRAPSACK WORLD — and how. the surface was a wasteland overrun with garbage, and the underground was no better. the monsters below arent as friendly as their game counterparts (in fact, most of them are all blatantly unstable), and are in a time of starved depression under queen undyne's rule, an old hero who turned tyrant after being corrupted by the loss of her friends and the love of her life. frisk was unlucky enough to fall down, and had been used, betrayed, killed, and eaten numerous times when they were there. not to mention their time underground led to them eating (or trying to eat) some of the more "friendlier" or less aggressive monsters, such as the annoying dog.. as well as other humans-- unintentionally! "creepypasta" is taken very literally down in the underground..

DARK AND TROUBLED PAST — frisk originates from a world where they got trapped underground and then they had to defend themself from horrific monsters twice their size who had blatant intent to murder and then eat them all the while they were battling off their own hunger. eventually, they paired up with chara and erased the world before moving on to the next one (feralfront).

DETERMINATOR — being the physical embodiment of determination and sheer will, it only makes sense to have this on here. frisk is a go-getter and does everything in their power to set things "right" so that everyone can have their own happy ending. their determination is so strong that they can even evade death because of their refusual to die.

DREAMING THE TRUTH — wip

EARN YOUR HAPPY ENDING — before they were overwhelmed by atychiphobia, they used to encourage this trope a lot.

GOOD IS NOT SOFT — wip

GRAYING MORALITY — see 'byronic hero' for more information.

HAPPILY ADOPTED — frisk has officially been adopted by four different people (imperiousdevotions, sans, artpop, funhaus) and has lived a happy life with every last one of them. this doesnt even begin to cover all of the people who haven't adopted them (ie, kate, cherviltea, mettaton, sango), but treat them like family anyways.

HEROIC BSD — had officially hit this stage after bill cipher broke up their soul. emotionally unstable and ten times more sensitive than before, they will flinch at unexpected contact, cry over small, seemingly unimportant things, and panic if pinned down. they even stopped taking their meds out of fear of being caught off guard and attacked. this is will be even more prominent now that they are atychiphobia.

HORROR HUNGER — once their digestive system activates, frisk will be overcome with strong bouts of hunger and they'll have to satisfy it quickly or prove to be a threat to those around them.

IMPROBABLE WEAPON USER — wip

INTERSPECIES ADOPTION — all of frisks adoptive parents are canines whereas they themself are a cat. mothernature (their "birth mother") has a cat body, though.

ITS ALL MY FAULT — this belief is how they turn into atychiphobia to begin with.

LEANING ON THE FOURTH WALL — frisk is slightly aware of the fact that they're on a roleplaying website and will casually reference pasts posts in their internal dialogue or verbally compliment someones profile aesthetic if they find it to be appealing.

MADNESS MANTRA — this trope is invoked in nearly any situation where frisk is caught in a highly stressful and mind damaging problem, as they chant one word like their life depends on it, with "no no no no no" being the most common. this trope also comes into play whenever atychiphobia does something they dont mean to do, leading to them whispering a terrified, "im sorry, im sorry, god im so sorry" over and over again.

MARTIAL PACIFIST — they only fight if provoked, but don't really put any effort in it unless they're in a genuine state of fear, panic and/or are triggered.

MISERY BUILDS CHARACTER — the very foundation of their development. see 'dark and troubled past', 'byronic hero', 'the dog bites back' and 'break the cutie' for more information.

OLDER THAN THEY LOOK — any body frisk takes on is typically three - five months old, but they've been in feralfront for over a year now, and they were around nine years of age back in the underground.

TALKING DOWN THE SUICIDAL — when frisk was dragged to the cartel by victoria who was determined to salvage what was left of her family (which included frisk, jefferson, kate and morgan), they tried to convince victoria that not only was she still a good person after killing kate marsh but that she was worthy of forgiveness and her family never left her. instead of frisks words making things better, however, this is what triggered victoria to kill the both of them.

THE DOG BITES BACK — in the underground, frisk initially tried to save the monsters that were trapped there, but eventually they proceeded to erase the world due to realizing that, even if they could befriend and help the monsters the prejudice against humans wouldnt go away, and the monsters would either kill all the humans once they reached the surface or the humans would kill all the monsters because they all had turned into the very thing they had been sealed away for.

TRAUMA BUTTON — wip

TRAUMA-INDUCED AMNESIA — due to the events of horrortale/the underground and what they had undergone here in feralfront, one of their newly discovered powers (the sight) has started to put a barrier around frisks mind, pushing the traumatizing events into the farthest corners of their mentality so that they cant recall them throughout the day. these memories can still come to them in the form of dreams and nightmares, however.

TROUBLED FETAL POSITION — frisk wakes up like this whenever they die and reload a save point.

WHAT THE HELL, HERO? — they destroyed their world because there didn't seem to be any other way to protect it from itself. also the fact that frisk is upholding residency with funhaus' murderer falls under this trope.
