  • [center][fancypost=width: 500px; text-align: justify]Nico arrived on the northern section of Shadowclan's vast territory, his paws sore from walking so far. He gazed out over the fields, the trees intriguing to him; but he couldn't stop to sightsee, he had other things to do. A few strange, large creatures followed him; they wore packs filled with weapons, spices, art and books filled with knowledge. It was obvious to most that the tom was here to trade, though his trembling defensive stance revealed plenty about his weak mental state.

    "Greetings? I'm Nicotine from the Skulls, I'm here to trade and discuss how to strengthen our alliance." Nico called out. He'd also ask about their stance on End Game, but he'd ask that later; he didn't want to prematurely burn any bridges, considering the Skulls was staying carefully neutral on the whole affair. He wasn't even sure if they still considered the Skulls an ally; but if they didn't, it'd be useful information to take back to the captain nonetheless.

    [fancypost=border-width:0px; width: 450px; text-align: justify; font-size: 8pt; line-height: 125%]"Right, well our leader should be here shortly to discuss that with you." Came Kata's dull reply as he appeared from the thick undergrowth, his vivid hues slowly trailing over Nicotine. He figured Sango needed to be there for the strengthening alliance part, or maybe even Flinch, just anyone above him really. "And I'm not interested in any trading so hopefully someone else that is will follow suit. Anyway, do you need anything while you wait?" He'd go get food any water if he had to, but probably only once someone else was here with the other feline.

    "Don't have anything to trade. Sorry," Koipond murmured flatly. She wasn't really sorry for not having anything. Physical objects meant little to her, anyways, except for her luscious koi pond. Oh, how those fish were growing, along with the flora. "Yeah, the leader should come soon." If there were important matters to discuss then the trainee would not immerse herself into it. This wasn't her duty, anyway, seeing as she was stripped of hers last meeting.

  • "Can the assistant deputy suffice?" The much older orange and white cat said as she walked out from the warriors den. Eyes on the trader from the skulls. "Or are you still as sexist as ever towards us females?" She said without a hint of remorse. "Why in the world are we allies with a bunch of sexiest pigs!"

    "Perhaps you should shut your mouth and learn some fucking manners," Koipond hissed at the femme that was complaining. Sexist pigs? Really? The Skulls tom needed to talk to the leader for soecofic reasons, not an assistant deputy. Koi flicked her tail in irritability, glaring at her.
    [font=georgia]

  • "Talking back to your elders huh? my my how things have changed. Has everyone just forgotten what the skulls are? LOOK kid. Like the grown up cats deal with this and go look at some history ok?" Bloomingflowr said snapping at the child. How does child know anything?

    "Don't act so high and mighty," Koi snapped back. Her lobster tail flicked irritably. "You're not the leader. And don't tell me what to do." She despised people who were so damn condescending. She was small, but she was extremely mature for her age and had already had the rank of assistant deputy before. "At least I don't call people sexist pigs, and yet you're calling me a child for pointing it out."

    • "Your acting so high and mighty. Do you know anything about the skulls? Do you know anything being a little kitten. I am over 100 moons old. I seen groups clans, rise and fall. I saw when DarkClan was a pro clan, there was no exilies. BloodClan brainwashed cats. That's what I saw. That is what I know. " she snapped back. "They were called SkullClan back then, another Clan called Boneclan came from them. SkullClan wasn't anti female. Took them on as slaves and were treated lower. Better thank StarClan you weren't born there. They would of killed you on the spot.

    "I don't intend on visiting the Skulls anyway. But there is somebody from the clan here, and you're making us look bad." Koi said, calmer this time. She was bringing up things that had nothing to do with the fact that someone wished to strengthen an alliance.
    [font=georgia]

  • [center][fancypost=width: 500px; text-align: justify]"Understood, I can wait." Nico said to the two that'd been at least mildly polite to him. He bit his tongue as the elder ranted, quietly waiting for an opportunity to speak up. He didn't really blame Shadowclan; some people in their old age got entitled and rowdy, it wasn't anybody's fault.

    "We're actually lead by a female now, captain Sel." Nico chirped. "I don't know what happened back then, but I can assure you we've changed. We aren't that type of clan anymore." Nico said, trying to be polite. At any other time he would've knocked some sense into the older cat, but they apparently were the Assistant Deputy and he didn't want to ruin their alliance. "-However, I'd like to talk to someone who's respectful of me and my clan about our alliance."

    [fancypost=border-width:0px; width: 450px; text-align: justify; font-size: 8pt; line-height: 125%]"Both of you, that is enough." Kata demanded suddenly, fire burning in his narrowed copper hues as he turned back to glare at his two clanmates. He wasn't all that mad at Koipond like he was with Bloomingflower, but the trainee wasn't really helping with her snappy responses to the older feline. Maybe he was mostly angry at his fellow Nightwatcher because of how she was insulting an ally, especially one that was being led by his own Mother. Clearly the she-cat wasn't up to date on how many of the clans had changed, but Kata didn't see it as an excuse to be so rude. He'd never understand why Sango and Flinch insisted on promoting Bloomingflower alongside him; oh well. "The Skulls are an ally, and just so happen to be led by my Mother. It is in your best interest to learn to hold your tongue and take it up with someone higher than us instead of insulting someone at our border, Bloomingflower." The dark colored tom rasped firmly, but managed to keep his tone calm and collected.

    With a final sigh he turned his attention back to Nicotine, giving the male an apologetic look. "I apologize for how this has turned out. Sango and Finch should be here shortly. Oh, and when you go back home do you mind telling my Mother I said hi and if she wants to visit let her know I'm here in ShadowClan now." He crooned. This was the most he'd spoken at all today, it felt a little odd to him.

    Koi shut her maw as Kata approached, silencing both of them. She knew Bloomigflower was in far more trouble, seeing as she blatantly insulted an ally and forgot to update her history. Obviously, the elder femme needed to shit up as well, and think before she spoke. "I'll get my mentor," She said simply, flicking her lobster tail as she padded off.

  • Finch approached, sensing the need for her to be there. She aimed to SWAT WILLOW OVER THE HEAD with sheathed claws, her blue eyes narrowed. She turned her gaze to the Skull, cocking her head to the side. [b]"I'm Finch. Vice leader. Sorry about that. Anyway - Sango is the decider of these things. When she arrives we can discuss it further. What can the Skulls offer to Shadowclan?"

    //sorry, mobile!

  • [center][fancypost=background-color:;border:0px;width:450px;text-align:justify;font-size:8pt;line-height:1.4;] taking a seat by finch, she would sigh. another alliance request apparently? nothing new. the hellhound would wordlessly wait fkr her mother to appear and deal with the situation. bloomingflower was just on a trial and the way that things wee looking, she wouldn't be on one muchnlonger. ransompaw wold nevernput up with such an embarrassment. not that koipondnwasnhelping, she was also fueling the fire. Now this was emotional. Lyra was indeed infuriated once Bloom began to speak. She was the previous Leader of The Skulls. The clan had been led by females for a while now. Anyone who was sexist during her reign was skinned. Miss Bristol scoffed and rolled her cobalt blue eyes. Her ebony claws flexed into the ground and she lashed her tail out of habit. There was no intention to butt into the situation, but she couldn't hold her tongue. "Nico. Tell Sel that Lyra said hello, yeah?"

  • [center][fancypost=width: 500px; text-align: justify]The situation had.. Spiraled out of control, he'd admit. But he tried to keep his cool, and kept trudging on; after all, it appeared as though Shadowclan had dropped them, and there were politics to get to.

    "I'll let her know for both of you." Nico said to both Kataz and Lyra, not knowing who they were but not surprised that Sel had family and friends in Shadowclan. "And its fine, I'm sure her actions will have fair consequences." He said, his patience still strong but some of his instinctive anger sparking through. He disliked being insulted in a situation where he couldn't retaliate, and he prayed Bloomingflower would get a strong talking-to at least.

    "We can offer deals of weapons, maps, books and all sorts of miscellaneous items as well as a great discount on some of our native exotic pets. We also have events like parties that your members can come to, if they please. We also have ships for raiding and experienced sailors." Nico said. "I'm saying this under the assumption we've been dropped since any of us last visited.. I'm uncertain, though, I've gotten a lot of mixed messages since heading out and arriving here."
