Anneliese halted immediately, not preferring to get caught up with the drama that was about to go down.
Vanessa glared glared at Alec. "What is it about this girl that has you so infatuated? I don't understand. She's an orphan, and I'm pretty sure she has an eating disorder of some sort."

Alec's frown further deepened. "What the hell has gotten into you, Vanessa? She's one of my friends, and your gonna have to deal with it.". He raised an eyebrow, arms crossed over his chest.
-
Vanessa shook her head. "No, she is not just a friend. I want to know what it is about her that's got you hooked. I didn't keep you like that when we first met, and I stole you from your last girlfriend. I'll be damned if I'm gonna let that happen to me," she whispered, wrapping one arm around the back of his neck.
-
Alec groaned, faking a smile towards Vanessa. "She's a hell of a lot interesting than you. I do get tired of hearing you complain that Lily gets to go shopping and her boyfriend actually does shit with her." He countered, frowning.
-
Vanessa pulled away. "Well if you weren't so miserable about your dad's departure and your mother's prudeness, it wouldn't be an issue. Your mother treats you like a slave, it's no wonder your dad left!"
-
Alec froze slightly. "Don't talk about my mother like that.". He said lowly. What the fuck was wrong with her?
-
She narrowed her steel gray eyes dangerously. "You're treading on thin ice, Ryder," she hissed.
From a distance, Anneliese watched anxiously. -
Alec just laughed, his eyes cold. "You think you can fucking threaten me, Vanessa?" He growled, raising an eyebrow.
-
She shrugged. "Hopefully we don't have to. Say goodbye to her or I'll do it for you," she growled.
-
Alec chuckled darkly. "Then you say goodbye to all your little football friends." He countered, gritting his teeth.
-
She rolled her eyes. "You know you can trust me. I just don't trust her," she frowned.
-
Alec returned the frown. "No, Vanessa. You just don't trust me." With that, he shook his head and walked back to Anneliese, just to ensure Vanessa wouldn't go all crazy psycho on her.
-
Vanessa narrowed her eyes and stalked off.
"Is everything alright?" Asked Anneliese cautiously. -
Alec sighed. "I don't know.". He finally said, rubbing the back of his neck.
-
She frowned and on impulse, grabbed his hand sympathetically. "Come on, let's get to class."
-
Alec nodded, following after Anneliese towards their first hour. Not looking forward to seeing Lily there, he frowned a little more still.
-
Anneliese led the way, but froze when she saw Vanessa rubbing up on a baseball player. She frowned and glanced at Alec sympathetically.
-
Also seeing the scene, Alec locked eyed with Vanessa before looking down, shaking his head lightly. Walking faster past them, he 'accidentally' bumped shoulders with the baseball player, aka Daniel. Offering a side smile at Annelise, he walked faster still towards class.
-
Anneliese struggled to keep up, but didn't say anything until they made it to class. "Are you okay?"
-
Alec looked at Anneliese, and shrugged. "Sure. No, not really.". He offered as an answer, sitting down.
