    Alec shrugged. "If she had a true problem, she would have came to me about it." He stated, then raised a suspecting eyebrow at Lily.

    "Would she? Because she really seems like the kind of person to keep this situation on the down-low just to keep you," Anneleise muttered, scribbling her name on the worksheet that the teacher was handing out to each student. "I haven't done anything to her- but Alec, I don't think I can stay away from you. And it's not fair for either of us to do that."

    Alec frowned slightly, writing his name on the sheet. "Never planned on it. She never cared when I hung out with other girls and now you're magically different." He rolled his eyes, the frown still clear on his face.

    Alec worked silently also, then looked up when Lily tried to whisper something to him, making him scowl. Ignoring whatever the hell Lily said, Alec continued working until the bell rung.

    Before Alec had any chance to speak, Anneleise got up and left the room as soon as the bell rang. At her locker, Vanessa terrorized her more.
    "So, I came up with a few things. I wanted to know which one you would like the school to hear:
    Anneliese Isaacson has HIV, given to her by her rapist father.
    Anneliese Isaacson is having sex with her adoptive brother.
    Or, Anneliese Isaacson is a prude who somehow thinks she's going to get the best looking guy in school- Alec Ryder." Vanessa produced a venomous smile at the sight of Anneliese's discomfort.
    "How did you know my name was Isaacson?" she whispered.
    When Vanessa began to scoff, Anneliese shoved her.
    "HOW DID YOU KNOW MY BIRTH NAME WAS ISAACSON?" she demanded, tears streaming down her face. "How could you be so cruel? I have literally known you for a day, please enlighten me on what the hell I did to make you hate me so goddamn much that you would go through all of this just to torment me?"

    Alec heard the commotion, and ran over. Seeing Vanessa's cruel smile and Anneliese's face of discomfort, his face fell instantly. "Vanessa what the fuck? I think that's enough, considering you have no right to be doing this shit. Leave Anneliese alone, Vanessa. Or else you won't like what's going to happen." He snapped, glaring. He took Anneliese's hand, taking her away from where Vanessa stood. A frown was etched on his face, and his thoughts were swirling.

    Alec turned around, and he rolled his eyes. "Vanessa, just because you're my girlfriend doesn't mean I'm going to back this." He snarled, beforw turning back around.

    Her eye twitches and she stormed off before being halted by Mrs. Pierce in the hallway. Anneliese's eyes widened and she pulled Alec away from the scene before it worsened.
    "Did you hear what rumors she was trying to spread?"

    Alec nodded. "But I don't believe them. Are you alright?" He added the last part softly, looking worried. "I'm sorry for all this shit, it isn't right."

    Anneliese shook her head. "I don't know how she got that information. There's some things you should know," she murmured seriously, walking with him out into the sunny courtyard.
    "I was orphaned when I was fourteen years old. My dad was drinking, and struck my mother when she tried to drive. He collided head on with someone else and killed my parents instantly. A piece of the windshield impaled my father, and the impact caused the seatbelt to decapitate my mother completely." she shuddered at the memory. "I came out with a broken leg and a collapsed lung. And I don't know what happened to my younger sister. I never saw her after the crash." She paused.
    "My birth name was Isaacson, and my father was a serial rapist as a teenager. I have no idea how she got ahold of that information."

    Alec frowned further. "Ana, if you ever want to talk to someone I'm here. And I'm sorry that happened.". He said softly, putting a hand on her shoulder.

    Alec smiled at her. "And now you got a football player that's an idiot and a girlfriend that's a bitch on top of it.". He said half jokingly, but meant the whole thing about Vanessa. She had no right to be doing any of this to Ana.

    Alec nodded, then saw Lily glaring at him and threw her a deadly smile. Rolling his eyes, he saw Mrs. Pierce throw him a glance in the hallways and looked back at Ana. "Your mom kinds scares me.". He muttered.

    Alec chuckled. "Good. Don't want her hating me already.". He laughed, but groaned when he saw Vanessa approaching him. "Give me a minute.". He grumbled, looking at Vanessa as he walked to meet her half way.
