  • As her words turned into sobs, Alec pulled into her driveway. "Hold on Ana, I'm here. We'll talk about it more. Just hold on." He whispered softly into his phone, attempting to comfort her. Turning off his car, he quickly took the keys out of the engine and rushed up to the door, knocking on the door. As one of Anneliese's sisters opened the door, he rushed inside and into her room. He hung up the phone before hugging her in a gentle manner.

  • Alec frowned, knowing it was basically him that caused her to freak out. "Ana, baby your period might just be late.." He whispered softly, rubbing her back. "I swear I won't let your parents give you back, they love you. And I'll make sure you keep that role, okay?" Alec added, gently brushing her hair out of her face.

  • "Ana, look at me." Alec breathed, his emotions getting the better of him. He sat on her bed and ran his hands through his hair, sighing. "Anneliese, I'm so sorry." Alec whispered out, eyes trained on the floor, hoping she would hear him. After all, it was his idiocy that got them to this point.

  • She shook her head. "No, this is equal- we both did this, we both forgot about protection. I don't want you to blame yourself," she breathed, going over to him. She sat on the floor in front of him as she took his hands.

  • Looking at her, he slightly smiled, stroking his thumb over her knuckles. "We'll make it through this, I promise." He whispered sincerely to her, the seriousness of his words shining through in his eyes.

  • Alec smiled also, glad she had calmed down. "Well, on a lighter note, I passed that Calculus test you helped me study for." He grinned, surprisingly proud of himself. Standing up from the bed, Alec sat down beside Anneliese.

  • "You're a lot better at calculus than you think, you know. You're a lot better than a lot of things," she murmured quietly. "And I'm glad you came over, but I was paranoid my parents were gonna get suspicious."

  • Alec grinned, wrapping his arm around her shoulders. "I don't even think your parents know I'm here, since Emily let me in. But they'll be fine with it, I'll just tell them I had some questions about homework."

  • Alec rolled his eyes, but then looked at Ana. "You know what, we're going somewhere." He decided, nodding. Alec stood up and put his hand out for Anneliese to grab.

  • Alec grinned. "Relax babe, I'm taking you to the mall then.. it's a surprise." He playfully winked at her, smiling as he grabbed his keys and phone.

  • "Oh?" she smiled and also grabbed her phone. She led him out, pausing near the front door. "Hey, Alec and I are going out for a bit. Tell Mom for me?" she announced. Sophia, from across the room, nodded.

  • Alec grinned and unlocked the car, opening the passenger door for Anneliese. "I'm paying by the way." He smiled, knowing Ana was unlikely to object. As she got in the car, he closed her door and got in himself.

  • Alec smiled, yet guilt clouded his mind slightly. "Nah, it's just what a boyfriend should do for his girlfriend sometimes, no?" He smiled at her before putting the keys in the car and driving off towards the mall.
