She laughed, going over to him. "I've never gotten a part on my first attempt!" She swigged down several gulps of water before pinning back loose strands of hair. She pulled out her cell phone and checked the unread messages from her parents.

x Alec stood up from his current spot, and saw missed calls from his mom. He grimaced, then looked at Anneliese. "Do you have a way to get home?" He asked
-
She sighed. "No, I forgot to tell my siblings that I had been asked to stay after."
-
x "I could take you if you'd like."He offered
-
"Are you sure? You really don't have to do that," she said, but s smile still crept across her face.
-
x Alec shook his head. "Now what kind of friend would I be if I didn't take you home?" He joked, smiling.
-
"It would have no effect," Anneliese purred, grabbing her bag and leading him out.
-
x Alec smiled, and followed her out to the parking lot. Nearby was his gorgeous black Camaro, and he grinned. "There's my pride and joy." He joked, gesturing towards the car.
-
"You're such a boy," she smiled gently, waiting patiently for him to unlock the car.
-
x Alec laughed. "That I am."He grabbed his keys, unlocking the car and opening the passenger door for her before getting in himself. "Where to?"
-
Anneliese got in and tossed her bag into the back seat before fastening herself in. "Right off of Brookhaven. I'll show you from there," she said, watching him get in.
-
x Nodding his head, Alec began driving towards Brookhaven.
-
"So tell me about yourself, Alec. Seems as though I've done most of the talking," Anneliese murmured, glancing over at him.
-
x "Ah, sorry about that... Well, I'm Alec Ryder. I live here obviously, I own a black camaro, and I don't really like school. But I do football and baseball." He laughed, then shrugged.
-
"Baseball?" She smirked and raised an eyebrow. "Do you think you would let me help you with your school work?"
-
x Alec nodded, grinning. "Sure, that'd be nice of you." He smiled, before looking at her. "Alright, where now?"
-
Anneliese pointed. "The gray one on your right. The one with the big tree- yes." She paused. "Here's my phone number." She handed him a tiny slip of paper.
With that, she got out of the car, grabbed her things, waved goodbye, and went inside. -
x Alec smiled at her, waving back as she walked inside. He then put her number in his phone before driving off to his house.
-
Inside, her mother sat in the living room. "Hey, why are you home so late?"
Anneliese looked up, setting her bag in a nearby chair. "My dance instructor asked me to stay after to audition for the school ballet. I scored the role of Odette," she smiled, sitting down to take off her shoes.Mrs. Pierce looked up with a grin. "That's fantastic!"
-
x Alec drove the long way home, playing music as he drove. His mother wouldn't be home until an hour or so, and his father was on a buisness trip.
