Anneliese didn't do any dancing today, but she felt more at home in pointe shoes, and it was an overwhelming sensation. Overwhelming in the sense that she had to be excused from class because current events were catching up to her. She was found outside the restrooms, drinking steadily from a water fountain.

x Spotting Anneliese, Alec smiled at her. "How was dance?". He asked.

She stood up right, a bit startled. "What are you doing out of class?" She smiled lightly, wiping any residue mascara from her eyes.

x Alec chuckled. "I kinda told the teacher i was going to the bathroom. Don't worry, I'll go back.". He quickly finished, then laughed.

She nodded, looking at her shoes. "Well, dance is going exceptionally well. The instructor had me show them what I know and as it turns out, I'm several years ahead of several students in there. I've been a ballet dancer since I could walk, so I suppose that helps," she smiled broadly, playing at a hen on her skirt.

x Alec raised his eyebrows. "That's really cool, Anneliese!". He smiled, then looked at the time, and smiled sheepishly. "Gotta run. I'll see you after school, yeah?" He asked, already half walking away.

"Yeah!" She half-waved after him, hiding a blush as she slipped back into the dance room.

x Walking back into class, the teacher threw him an odd look but otherwise ignored Alec.

After school, Anneliese had done a considerable amount of dancing. The instructor asked her to stay after, and one of Anneliese's classmates directed Alec to the studio when she didn't show up. The instructor wanted her to audition for the school's production of Swan Lake, something Anneliese could not pass up on.

x Looking at Anneliese, he nodded. "Damn, Anneliese. You're s hella good dancer!". He sounded amazed, watching Anneliese dance with wide eyes.

She smiled, watching him from a distance. "Sixteen years teaches you a lot." She took a break, grabbing a water bottle and sitting in the floor in front of him. "So tell me about your day. Did it go alright?"

x Alex nodded. "Yes, surprisingly today went well. Got yelled at by a few teachers, but that's nothing new.". He laughed.

Anneliese raised an eyebrow. "That doesn't sound very good. Why don't teachers like you?"

x Alec chuckled nervously. " Well when i first came here, I was a horrible student so now none of the staff here like me."

She frowned sympathetically. "I'm sure they'll change eventually. It's unhealthy to hold a grudge," she muttered irritably, standing up.

x Alec shrugged, nodding. Then he just sat back and watched Anneliese dance, intrigued by how graceful she was.

The instructor watched her every move like a hawk, then watched Alec for a bit. "Didn't think this was your scene, boy," she said quietly so as to not disrupt the delicate music.
She sat next to Alec to get a new point of view of Anneliese. -
x Alec shrugged, almost too into Anneliese dancing to hear the teacher considering he barely heard her. He had always found dancing interesting, but had never just sat and watched it befoee like this.

The second Anneliese finished, the instructor smiled. "Congratulations, Miss Pierce. You've got the role of Odette. I'll post the cast later this week so you can get to know your fellow dancers," she said, standing up.
Anneliese smiled, still catching her breath. "Thank you, ma'am." -
x Alec stood up and clapped for Anneliese. "You did hella good!". He laughed, smiling.
