For Millennias dragons have lived amongst the human race, dwelling in the shadows unseen. Taking the forms of humans and pulling the strings in the backround to one day overthrow humanity. As well as dealing with humans they compete with each other, the order of the imperial beasts rules over them. A organization of many pedigree dragon families that rule the earth's dragons. All must bow there heads to the might of the Impereal Beast or face certain death. And that means all young dragons must attend the Fafinir Academy, the Academy run by the Imperial beast to sniff out talent or threats. Young teenage dragons enter at age of 14 and will not see their families until they are released on the end of their sixth year when hey are 20. that is if they survive however.

❦ School Grounds
Tucked away into the canadian countryside surronded by mountains is the academy, the academy is surronded by rivers and the area is unbelievely beautiful. A magical border keeps the academy hidden only allowing thoughs who are authorized to enter inside and thoughs who are authorized to enter in. The acdemy itself consist of five huge wings and a large courtyard covered in statue's and fountains as well as relics of the past. The academy itself is ancient but resembles a mix of british and scottish architecture. The dorms are located in the eastern-most wing along with the massive libary containing many historical scrolls along with the writings of other dragon authors. while the northern wing is the 'battle training wing' the other three are "normal" classes. While there is recreational activites most students who aren't from blueblood families opt out of them due to how stressful the school already is.

. Students must attend classes Everyday unless they are deathly sick or in the care of a nurse. They only have Saturdays off and holidays off.
. Students must wear a band on their left hand that tells their name, age, ranking and breed. This band can not be taken off and if one is caught without it they will face consequences. (This band keeps the wearer locked inside the magical bubble its a type of paper magic)
. Any student found trying to escape with face capital punishment. Especially if they attempt to spellcasts on their band. (Students can leave the bubble but it needs to be authorized by officials)

Kurai is known as a weakling amoungst the students, she's incompenent in almost every aspect in the eyes of others seemingly failing at the most simple task. She's clumsy and always winds up getting herself "hurt", she often puts herself in bad posistions. Kurai attracts negative attention like the plague. She acts inconfident and solumnly agrees with others if she gets insulted stating how shes "hopeless" or something among the lines. She's quite self depricative and will put herself down constantly in front of others. She acts naive and won't catch onto things often stupidly laughing along with others. She gets flustered extremely easily and will often panic or cry out if she's scared. She gets scared extremely easily. She tries to act kind and will naively state that she considers people friends who are obviously anything but. She normally acts sweet and is most of the time smiling but she does give off a strange fabricated vibe.

However this is nothing more than a act, a curtain to pull over the academies and her classmates eyes. This act of hers is one she developed the day she stepped into the academy in order for her to draw attention away from herself, to practically go off the radar. Kurai never liked attention, she believed it to be an incredibly bad thing. She feared being used, being manipulated into being someones pet, she never wanted to be killed as soon as her use was up she didn't want to show her throat to anyone. So she swallowed her pride and decided to play the role of a feeble crybaby who shows no potential. She intentionally makes herself out to be a punching bag for others. Though she despises her own act and the humiliation that comes with it. It's always a battle of willpower to not fight back, to not show her true potential no matter what.

Kurai's sly and will often take any oppurtunity she can regardless of who is affected, she's cuniving and is a born planner. She likes to play other people for her own personal bemefit. She is selfish and prefers to keep to herself when it comes to her true self. She has a hard time understanding others and tries to keep people at a distance. She sees such things as intimacy,love, and friendship as childs-play. Her own beliefs are quite childish. Though that could be because shes never expirenced such feelings. Though she does like messing with people, especially in her act. She finds pissed off people amusing regardless of the potential danger.

She's stubborn and headstrong and sticks to her and only her ways, she doesn't like to be reasoned with and will shut people out if she's done with them. Though her years of 'acting' have taught her to be patient and swallow her anger Kurai has some extreme anger issues. She goes completely bullistic if something pushes her nerves to much, but most of the time she can bite her tongue until she can safely let it out. Though some of her sarcastic/anger induced humor comes out even if she's acting.

She obsessive and has a habit of latching onto the few people she actually likes. She actually doesn't take refusal well.

Kurai's a extremely lonely girl, though that fact is unbennounced to her. She was raised without familal love and was friendless growing up. She bottles up her feelings and doesn't really talk about them, most of the time she lets off steam by training but it doesn't really help.She rather gloomy and is rather deppresing to be around as her true self. She has a hard time talking about anything but her family and training to thoughs who she deems "important" enough. She heavily desires validation and wishes to please her mother and father even though they heavily dissaprove of her current status as one of the most laughable students in the academy.

Personality: [i]Rain is a mysterious one. No one ever really knows much about him. He gets along nicely with others, even has a circle he hangs out in. But he never lets anyone closer than small conversation. He is considered one of the more 'popular' dragons in school, though only the gods themselves knew how that happened. Considering most of the time Rain's calm nature pulls him towards being too indifferent to care about doing something productive. He's strong, but his unmotivated notions and lethargic impulses are his worst enemies. Teachers usually finding themselves being frustrated when he fails to reach his full potential.[/i]

Rain can be quite stoic on the outside, and though chill and indecisive about most things he can be playful if he's in a good mood. Most people he interacts with he ends up hardly considering talking to again, but sometimes an individual will peak his interest. The boy will drop sarcastic and sassy remarks seemingly out of nowhere when he's around someone he's comfortable with, or in contradiction, someone he doesn't like very much. It's hard to get him mad, though. Most times considering it a waste of time and energy; energy being something Rain seems to constantly lack. If he could sleep 24 hours a day he probably would.

Some people view him as a 'goody-goody,' always following the rules, and he doesn't mind it. That just means if he ever did decide to break a rule, no one would suspect a thing. But more likely than not he wouldn't go out of his way just to be a 'rebel,' since most of the time people do it just for show. On top of everything Rain doesn't care about, image is high up on the list. In order to survive he drifts, keeping up an average student demeanor that the families wouldn't look twice at.

PERSONALITY Dutiful. Phi will be the first to admit that she isn't the most honest and honourable. Her morals are heavily skewed, flexible to serve her goals and needs, if need be. She's not all selfish though, you've learned. When given the task to pass some important papers to the office, she does not try to peek at them and tweak anything to change it, knowing that the professor trusts her. Though it's fair to note that she usually doesn't take the initiative to burden herself with it, when it does occur, she takes full responsibility to see it through, sometimes going above and beyond the protocol given to help, when she's in a good mood. Humble. Anyone who's seen her with her family knows full well how arrogant and condescending she carries herself with them. She is so much like the dragons fabled in classical stories: looking down upon others with a disdainful air, seeing them as levels below her, even when she struggles with herself. All of this is shown to you, whenever she comes into conflict or even faces any of those from the Schultheiß family, just like now, her slanted eyes and smirk dangerously sharp, her composure perfect, as she perfectly beat her cousin down, no mercy in the equation. When she returns from that confrontation, it throws you for a loop when she spots you, and reverently bows her head, and smiles politely, her expression losing all the steel it had from awhile ago. "Good afternoon, ma'am." She even curtsies and keeps her eyes submissive and soft. Where was the feisty dragoness? You think to yourself, amused by her demure nature, so at odds with the anger and hostility she projects against those within her own family. You find it incredibly odd, but for now, you smile back and greet her in return, complimenting her skills in combat. "You were watching the match, professor?" Her tone quivers, somewhat afraid. Why was that so? You promptly ask her why she's starting to look nervous. "As you can see, I am far from being skilled. I'm sorry that you had to see such poor self-control on my part and my lacking skills." Curious. For all her bravado against those related to her, she's so... meek. You were somewhat hoping for a little display of her confidence to try and push her down. All in good fun, of course. Seeing her so tame, you decide to help her out by pointing out a few things she could improve on, all of which she soaks up happily, before she thanks you and goes on her way. Strange girl. Hoarder. There were a lot of myths about dragons. Many stories featured dragons claimed virgins or stole princesses from castles in the olden days, that they ravaged the land with little care for anything other than destruction, that they hoarded treasures from all over. The stereotypes were irritating, but Phi admits that the last one holds true in her case. She spares a glance at the arching cabinet case that has stored many figurines of different makes and shapes, another pointed at the large red chest by her bed, teeming with items and barely closing itself, and finally lets her eyes lands on the closet room, eyes squinted in clear displeasure as she recalled to mind what many have told her. "Your room is a mess, your closet is a mess, just about everything is a mess. Pack up and give items away, or I take it all away." Giving her room a quick sweep, she still doesn't understand what the problem is, but groans and walks ahead to the closet room, The Box in hand, and quickly sifts through what can and can't be donated. Within minutes, she's down memory lane, however. She finds a few shirts from her childhood, which, in a fit of impulse and stubbornness, tries it on, only to have it stuck between her shoulders, and quickly regretting it promptly, and wiggling most inelegantly out of it before dropping it in The Box. Merde, I am going to die. Repressed. "Don't let your anger show." Laëtitia, her mother, would often chide her on this. "Don't give them the satisfaction." Phi knows. She's had that lesson drilled into her psyche perfectly well. Well enough that she can still feel shivers as she remembers crying terribly as her mother constantly berated her as a test. To others, such a treatment to a young eight year old child might have been too harsh, but Phi understands that her mother knows best. Still... Side-eyeing one of her many cousins, the braggart one, whose name she could not be bothered to remember, knowing that every one of her cousins blew their heads up with their ego. Mom wouldn't mind if I put one in their place. When the blowhard touches on the subject of grades subtly, moaning about how they barely studied at all this semester, Phi lets time sink in to think on it, finger on her chin lightly as she thinks on it, before sighing sadly, claiming the same thing because she was so busy with working on projects, and helping the head of the family with their work, before looking off wistfully to where the grades were posted. Her partner's lips curl in delight, before they immediately pull at Phi to go to the boards and check out the rankings already. Oh, but Phi already knows, and smiles as she follows after them to see the unmistakable streaks of envy paint their expression.

In truth, her mother, Laëtitia, had only married Corbinian because of a shotgun marriage. Seeing as the Schultheiß is known to be incredibly affluent and knowing that she'll never get a sweet opportunity like this, she jumped the board and wound herself up married to the handsome and youthful Corbinian. Perhaps she'll manage to live out an agreeable existence along with her betrothed, even. It did not go as well as that. Even when Phi had been born, her birth father constantly denied having slept with Laëtitia, instead claiming that she was not the woman he had knocked up, and that the child was not his, though his accusations always fell short when the blood test was taken to confirm that Phi was indeed his child. In her early years, the man had always denied her presence and saw her as a nuisance, so it should be noted that Corbinian was not present for much in his daughter's life. Honestly, he was rarely present at all, usually off on a business trip and lounging around with even more women or working alongside his uncle in running branch offices. Instead, it was Corbinian's older twin, Wolfram that took up the mantle to play the surrogate father to the young Phi, and please his brother's wife. It was inevitable that rumors would spread, but Laëtitia took it with a grain of salt, standing firm and stalwart even with the subtle threats and insults the others would direct at her. Tramp, whore, slut; the list goes on. Laëtitia remained indifferent, and in her stead, it was Phi who lashed out. Always. Laëtitia Schultheiß [Biological Mother] Unlike her father and uncle, Laëtitia is uncharacteristically strict, moving with decisiveness and taking action with a strong and firm hand. Phi admits that she finds her mother to often be too controlling, but she suffices that direction is better than ignorance. Aside from that, Phi understands that it's tough love and her mother is trying to toughen her up to withstand anything the elitists a--holes can throw at her.

You can make up a breed name but the more common names for them are. Drakes (dragons lacking wings), Wyverns (dragons with back legs and wings), wyrms (snake like dragons with no legs), Serpents(Eastern dragons, no wings), or just the European dragons (four legs and wings)

Only the main family of the Imperial Beasts, the spell caster family in the same clan and the two heads of the lower faction(only the third best is still available for them). you can pick anything even things that aren't real in mythos. And there can be multiple people in each regions, just as long as not everyone's in the same region it's all good. Theme is themsongs, Yes.
