Right now you seem so far away — DeyVarah Shaia — Blizzardclan — She/Her/They/Them —

DeyVarah was in her hut as she cleaned it up a bit, since it was still under construction since she has started transforming some of it into her personal forge, until then it was a complete mess. Wood and coal was in a random corner as well as her brand new tools that she had gotten and some other needed things. Her furnace was in pieces as it wasn't fully assembled among her other things as well, like her anvil. After some time she had gotten frustrated with cleaning and walked out of her hut, taking a deep breath of the fresh air. She had a mask on her face so that she didn't breath in any debris that her house was currently holding but once she walked out she used to paws to remove the mask. SHe sat down in front of her hut, looking around the camp as she wondered what she should do for the time being.

Intella was heading on out, her sack in tow as usual. She was running a bit low on supplies for her inventions; it was definitely time for a restock. On her trail to her first usual stop -- the junkyard, quite a bit away from her new home -- she happened to spot a certain oversized feline clanmate. One who she'd definitely seen around, but wasn't all that familiar with. She offered a quiet -- er, well...obviously quiet -- nod of greeting, and stopped.

The inventor had overheard that the giant was soon to be offering some sort of...how should she put it? Metal working creative services? She had forgotten until a second ago that she'd been meaning to pay the larger mammal a visit. She raised a paw, and gestured behind Dey, trying to ask if that was her work space. I wonder if she needs some tools and materials, too? Intella wondered.

[fancypost=border-width:0px; width: 450px; text-align: justify; font-size: 8pt; line-height: 125%]DeyVarah was looking around when she saw someone raise a paw towards her and then pointed behind her, since she was a assassin she was able to get the hint. Since she was a assassin she had to learn how to read body language as well as signs, so that was why she was able to figure it out. "Yes that is my hut...it has my forge and the rest of my stuff in it." She says flicking a ear, hoping that she had at least answered the question that the smaller feline was asking. That made her curious to know if she was mute, and by the seems of it she might be just by how she won't speak, that or she was silent.

Offering a quick nod, Intella patted her chest, and started making gestures to try and make it look like she was piecing something together. She wanted to try to make sure Dey knew that she, too, built things. Even if their crafts were fairly different from eachother in both practice and theory, she still felt the two had some common ground to stand on.

The inventor really needed someone to make some shapes out of metal for her form some blueprints she'd make up; a blacksmith could be quite handy for her to utilize. But apart from that, Intella was curious about the possibility of collaborating on a design for something with the large creature; she'd get to this proposal in a bit, though. It was always best to make sure everyone was on the same page and understanding her silent words first, after all.

[fancypost=border-width:0px; width: 450px; text-align: justify; font-size: 8pt; line-height: 125%]DeyVarah flicked a ear as she pieced together what Intella was trying to say, finally figuring out what she was trying to say as she went through a list. She secretly thanked all those years of her being a assassin because otherwise she wouldn't be able to figure this out easily. "Would you mind showing me what you create? If you feel uncomfortable you don't have to." She says gently swishing her tail slightly as she asks that. This is new to her but she knows that this will be quite fun, her being a blacksmith.

  • At the clanmate's question, Intella spread her paws out. What did she make? Well...anything, really. She was an engineer, an inventor. She'd had lots of new creations the world, asa far as she knew anyways, had yet to see. Then, the lady put up a paw quick and shook it back and forth, trying to signify that she didn't have her best work on her at the moment. She then mimed out an empty basket, and "pulled things" into it, trying to signify that she was in need of more material; perhaps, maybe, Dey needed some, too? That was where her mind was, anyways.
