    — Maria was sitting where she normally was except there was something different this time- underneath her cloak was movement. Every few seconds, a mouse would pop its head out. She had found the poor thing hurt while she was walking through the camp and couldn't leave it. So... now she had a pet.

REVOLVING DOORS // WHAT HAVE I DONE?

[fancypost=border-width:0px; width: 450px; text-align: justify; font-size: 8pt; line-height: 125%]if he had to be honest, he loved it. 2d loved the little thing with his entire heart about ten times over. scuttling over, with his eyes even larger than normal, 2d squeaked "e-e's cute!" hsi voice sounding even more nervous. but why did he have to be nervous? he was excited, not scared. but he guessed that when he got excited about something, he got nervous. but whatever. "can i 'old 'im?"

A rabbit, or something, since they were super cute - he almost felt bad when he killed them. He sauntered toward Maria after 2D, having caught small bits of the duo's conversation. Whatever they were looking at, it was cute, according to 2D, and it was something someone could hold, so he was curious. "Oh, it is cute!" he exclaimed, voice even quieter than usual as he observed the small rodent. He took a seat near 2D and asked, "Where'd you find it?"

    IT'S HARD TO TAKE — gingerbread — blizzardclan — he/him — tags

[fancypost=border-width:0px; width: 450px; text-align: justify; font-size: 8pt; line-height: 125%]The next Blizzardclanner to arrive was Gingerbread. He had originally planned on introducing himself to Maria, since he didn't think he had met here yet, but there was a change of plans. Once he saw what all the commotion was about, he went into fanboy mode. It wasn't a dog or a puppy, but a mouse was still cute and Gingerbread was a lover of all cute things. The paladin trainee ambled over to stand beside Pierce, as he stared at the mouse in awe. "Aww it's so tiny! What are you going to name it?" The golden serval purred while he leaned in a bit closer to take a look at it. He too had a pet of his own, but unlike Maria, his was a pet puppy. A German Shepherd, to be more specific. They were a male canine named Esteban and they were the sweetest dog in the whole wide world. Esteban always accepted his hugs and was extremely patient with him. His metaphorical eyebrows furrowed in concern when the clouded leopard mentioned that the mouse was hurt. Oh, that wasn't good. He wondered what its injury was. "Injured? Why? What's wrong with it?" he inquired as he tilted his head in order to look at it from a different angle.

"I'm not sure what to name it yet. If you have any suggestions, I'd be glad to take them. I found the poor little thing all scratched up in a thorn bush." Mar was extremely sympathetic towards most animals, especially injured ones- they blamed it on their high levels of empathy.

//name change- ive made an announcement post! c:

  • [center][fancypost= width: 450px; text-align: justify;][size=11][font=timesnewroman]Blinking in mild surprise when she first caught sight of the pet mouse, Sweetophelia slowly approached, her dark tail swaying. She didn't keep pets - not since the hawk Tsubodai had entrusted to her. And although Sweetophelia considered the practice strange - to pick and choose some animals to keep as companions while killing and eating others within the same species - she wasn't going to ruin Mar's fun. "Be sure to keep it close," she suggested. "A lot of BlizzardClanners eat mice and they might not be able to distinguish between this mouse and other mice."
