As he was being carried back, his tail wagged a few times, extremely relieved to be out of the situation and appreciative of the male's help. He was very impressed by the way Askaban took down the stalker, and looked up to the dog even more than he did before. But as soon as they got back to the tunnel, the German shepherd pup's ears flattened against his skull, tail going between his legs and he tucked his paws closer to his body, trying to seem as small as possible. He hadn't tried to make a commotion, he just wanted to try to train his stalking and hunting so he could be useful. He kept his gaze downcast even after he was set down, but did dare to quickly turn his head to nudge it against Askaban's leg as a sign of appreciation.
"I'm sorry..." Felix murmured quietly to Aura, pawing at the ground nervously as he stood in front of her, feeling smaller than ever. The usually playful pup had become cautious, the fear he had experienced outside and the guilt and embarrassment over having caused a commotion causing him to draw in on himself, the pup trying unconsciously to make himself seem smaller than he already was.
