    "S-Sabe? When did you get here?" Chara asked, clearly not expecting him to be in here.


    "We need the souls to break the barrier... That's why we have them..." King Sans explained although his eyes were pitch black.

    " no. No you don't "sabe said as hebwalked towards the barrier, his soul moving out of his chest. He pushed the sould into the barrier. He wayted for something to happen. If this world was anything like his. You need one monster with a human soul to break through.

    "You need a human and a monster soul to walk through it.. But you need 7 human souls to shatter it.." Sans said.


    Chara stepped back a bit. They wanted to go to the surface but they suddenly remembered what happened before they fell. They shook their head and forced the memories away.

    sabe said" no. There has to be another way!!" he went into beast form and saberblaster the barier. He roared in distress and anger." how... How could you do it?" he asked after he had calmed down. He turned to look at sans, tears filling his eyes." wouldn't you rather live in the place your heart actually calls home than murder?!" he started to cry" those souls... Those lives! They... They belonged to someone!" he paced back and forth." there has to be anither way..." he tried to think before it clicked." i can hold human souls... They can take over me and be themselves... Let them free. Besides the murderous one. That one deserves to never live again" he went into human form.

    "I'm sorry.." Sans said, tears coming out of his eyesockets. He didn't want to do any of this in the first place. He just wanted to have a happy life with Papyrus, Napstablook, and Mettaton. He considered the two as his children, he took care of them as best as he could... Until the humans had killed them.


    Chara wanted to say something but they decided not to. They looked at the ground and messed with their jacket sleeves.

    Sans was hesitant but nodded. He released them from the containers.


    Vines quickly grabbed the souls and the flower from before appeared. "Wow! You really are an idiot! You managed to convince the trashbag into letting these souls go!" It said with an evil grin on his face. "You also have 7 souls! Good job trashbag! Although... Having an eighth soul seems nice..." The flower said.


    Chara was confused and didn't notice creeping up behind them until it was too late. They were quickly lifted into the air by the vines.

    sabe said" LET THEM GO!!" he then started to go into rage form. His wings stayed and in fact he grew two more pairs of wings. He flew up glared at the flower." i don't know your intentions but i bet they're not good!"

    The flower frowned but then he had an idea. "If you get any closer..." He said as the vines around Chara grew tighter which caused the thorns on them to dig into Chara's skin make them bleed. "You're not gonna like what happens next." He continued.


    Chara felt mutiple sharp pains and felt tears run down their face. They weren't used to this amount of pain. They might have ate buttercups one time to see what happened but the pain back then wasn't as bad as it is now.

    The flower chuckled which soon turned into an insane laughter. "I'd like to see you try!" He said as he started aborning the human souls, including Chara's. The room quickly turned white but then everything went black. There was a ghost floating in the middle of the black void.

    "You only have one soul.... I have eight... Plus.... Two of them are determination ones, the most powerful traits..." The ghost said, his voice seemed a bit.. Sad. Bit that's how he usually sounded before he died by the humans.

    "what you have doesn't define you" sabe said, taking his own soul out and ripping it until there was no more hope for it. seemed it didn't affect him any besides taking everything human about him away. or maybe it did affect him... he then fell from where he was and hit the ground pretty hard." you win..." he seemed to be dying. he didn't have an hp bar so it was hard to tell.

    The ghost smiled and laughed a bit. "Now that you're out of the way I can reset this world along with everyone's memory's!" He said. "And I didn't even have to show my god form." He added as he opened his save file.

    "oh no you don't!" sabe then ran over there and saber blasted at the ghost. what a plan! he destroyed his human soul to rid of the health bar. sure faking a fall hurt but not as much as being brutally murdered. one thing he didn't NEED to live, was a soul. he would do anything to save chara and the others, no matter if he died trying.
