    //wow thanks Internet for going down before I could do this (or anything) yesterday, I really appreciate it

    Sel sat at the base of the barrels on the ship, gazing around calmly. "Sailors, I just got back from what used to be BoneClan." She released a slow breath. "Risk wasn't lying, at least not about them. There's nothing but a hole left." She'd wait for the others to come and react before saying anything else.

  • {Ah, the lovely Internet..}

    Xylia had yet to set out on her trip with Shadow, but in the meantime she'd started going around the ship and territory checking in on crewmates to see how they were handling things. Explaining it, well, she was taking it one quick little step at a time. She stopped and spun around at Sel's first words, realizing then that this was once more about the End Game and that she needed to settle for a few minutes to listen. Her heart skipped a beat. She didn't know BoneClan as a group or as an ally, and hearing that the only thing left of them was a hole sounded terrifying. How could that be? How could they all be gone, just like that? How? Sel wasn't finished, which scarcely managed to convince herself to not barrage the Captain with a bunch of questions on the spot.

    Ryan was pretty good at mental gymnastics, and he'd managed to convince himself that Risk had been lying, and that maybe the shadows he'd used to demonstrate had been an illusion, though that was frankly the least of it considering he'd seen powers in action. But nothing, nothing so powerful as calling meteorites down from the sky. The feline padded over and took a seat, staring worriedly at Lucy. She was going to get herself killed one of these days, and there were quite a few new ways for that to happen now.

  • REMILIA SCARLET

    When she had first heard about this, Remilia had been furious.
    To be honest, she still didn't completely get it, but she knew enough to be angry.
    Well, actually, before she did anything, she wanted to take a look at the former clan too.
    But first...
    "No matter what, I'll never let The Skulls become a victim."
    With a lash of her tail, the purple-blue feline sat there, scarlet eyes agitated.

    "Work for the best, prepare for the worst." Sel said to Remila, gently rubbing Amethyst's ears as her pet came over and joined her. "We'll make sure that Risk and anyone else in the End Game cannot destroy us, but we'll also be running an evacuation drill so we know what to do if it does happen." Her gaze traveled over the almost pitiful crowd. "I've led a Clan with nothing before. I have no intention of doing it again but I will, and I will not let us be victims." Said by someone else, it might almost be stirring. Said by Sel it was factual, the way things were. Like she was analyzing the weather.

    "We'll want to stock up on food and make sure everyone is familiar with sailing. Also, closer alliances." And that was just to start. "We're also going to be gathering information - what are the End Game's numbers? Their weaknesses? Who's taken up fighting them? What can we do to protect ourselves and defeat the threat we face?" They would not win this fight by sitting on their paws, they had to be proactive.

  • An evacuation drill? All this preparation over the End Game? Her skin quivered and she got up on her hindlegs as if that made a difference while she listened to Sel's game plan. The sailing part would be a good idea, and she herself was trying to learn that anyway despite ocean travel giving her seasickness. She'd planned on keeping an eye out for information regarding the End Game when she went on her trip, and the meeting only re-enforced what she could do. "Is there an order that you want us to start doing stuff in to prepare?" One question and nothing more. How rare was that? Maybe it wasn't all that rare, but it could be counted as unusual.

  • [center][fancypost=width: 500px; text-align: justify]Nico had gotten there late, of course. The tom luckily had caught all of Sel's words, and sat quietly as he thought. An evacuation drill would be perfect; best to save as many lives as they could.. If it came down to it. Nico clenched his jaw as Sel questioned aimlessly, her words swirling around his head and making him dizzy.

    "A meeting for you and our allies leaders' would probably be best to figure out how to strengthen our alliances, right?" Nico suggested. "And if you give me permission, I'll go to our allies and see if I can trade for any non-perishable supplies." He finished. He wasn't sure how to handle the sailing bit; he'd never been a good sailor, but he'd ask Sel later to teach him some things. That is, if he didn't pass out from a headache first.

    She'd need to tackle the sailing lessons right away, and couldn't help but wish she'd seen Dinky's help recently, as his extensive knowledge would be invaluable. Unfortunately he wasn't around much, so it was down to her. "Stocking up on food can be done right away. Nico, go ahead and stop by our allies, minus the Rift since I'm already speaking with Cain and Cyrus. Also ask what we can do to strengthen the alliance." A meeting with all of their allies would be a good plan, and she'd add that to the list of things she had to do.

  • [center][fancypost=width: 500px; text-align: justify]Nico nodded at Sel's instructions. "I'll set out soon, with a few Goroos to carry stuff." He said. He didn't plan on trading any pets; he didn't want to get very close to any of the strange creatures currently, but Goroos were gentle in nature and he didn't think he'd be betrayed by them.
