  • Jacklyn giggled as Alec re-entered the room. He skipped a bit and grabbed the supplies, going into the kitchen area and beginning to sing a song in french. "Au-dessus de la rivière et loin, loin~" He sung softly in the most fluent French accent. He put the powder into the mixing bowl and opened the fridge, grabbing two eggs. "En bas de la crique ou` les oiseaux bleus jouent"

  • Alec smiled at Jacklyn's new change in mood. He was glad the other was feeling better, but he also had no idea what he was saying. Lika patterned back and forth in the kitchen. "I never knew you could speak French" he said

  • Jacklyn chuckled, nodding. "Mmhmm! My mom used to speak French as her first language. She told me one day she would take me to France to meet my sister!" He said happily as he cracked the eggs into the bowl and began stirring. "My first language actually was french. My first word was Papillon which means Butterfly" He said with a tiny laugh as he stirred

  • "well it suits you" Alec said, he himself not knowing any other language than English, he was quite impressed. "Do you speak in French a lot?" He asked, knowing that there probably weren't a lot of French living around here. "It's probably good when dealing with tourists though right?" He asked

  • "Mmhm, though usually I only speak to myself in french. Or when I'm angry I can curse in french and nobody will know" He said with a tiny giggle, putting some of the batter on his finger and licking it. "Mmh, about ready" He said, opening a cupboard and pulling out a cake pan-thing. (9or brownie, I forgot) He put the batter in, having already pre-heated the oven, he slid it in.

  • Alec watched him bake "looks good" he said. He personally didn't have much baking experience, but was okay enough to manage with help. "You should push that ice pack against your cheek some more" he said

  • Alex leaned against the counter "No, not really" he said "I tried to get Lima into some agility training for a while, it stopped when I started working full time. What about you? Other than baking"

  • "Mmm, well." Jacklyn tilted his head, thinking for a moent and swinging his legs childishly affront himself. "I like singing. And cuddles, oh, oh, and growing flowers. It's kinda a hobby of mine since my mom owned a little flower shop" He said with a tiny laugh, tilting his head to the left as he spoke

  • Alec nodded "that sounds nice, I like cuddles too" he said "my mom was never into gardening, I think she tried it once and sort of failed at it. I was a kid so I don't remember much, but the plants just didn't come up". He looked down at his dog "Lika is an avid gardener, if only he would burry flowers"

  • Jacklyn chuckled, nodding. "One day, I hope to have enough money for a little house with a big garden. That would be nice." He said with a tiny giggle. "Thats what my mom always wanted, but she wanted it for my sister. Too bad she doesn't care for much."

  • "Well as a barista it might take a while, but I'm sure you'll get there when you find the right person" Alec said "I hope to move back to the city, get a nice apartment, stop working at clubs and bars"

  • "Ah, but I bet your good at it" The Barista teased, giggling softly. Then, he heard the oven beep and his eyes lit up. "It's done!!" He giggled, taking the chocolate cake out of the oven. And beginning to frost it.

  • The small male rolled his eyes, "I'm fine" He said, beginning to sing as he frosted the cake in impressive flower-like patterns. "Tom, he was a piper's son~" He added some more frosting. "He learnt to play when he was young. But the only tune that he could play, was over the hills and far~ away"

  • Alec still got up with him, to make sure he was okay. Leaning against the counter as he watched him frost the cake. "Were you ever in theater?" He asked, trying to bring up a subject to talk about.
