    The pinkette smiled, "Thanks." He said, thanking Alec for the water before he sighed. "Derek was just annoyed that I was out for more than 30 minutes. Though he knew where I was." The pinkette said with a weak laugh, taking a deep breath and smiling.

    Alec frowned as he realization dawned on him, he knew he should have just kept to himself "was it because you were with me?" He asked, placing Lika on Jacklyn's lap for comfort.

    "Mm, kinda. But it's fine, I knew he would be pissy. He gets mad when i get on social media." Jacklyn said with a small chuckle, pulling his knees to his chest and resting his head quietly on his knees, his shaking dying down. "everything pisses him off, trust me. I've been with him for so fuckin long." He almost hissed the words like poison from his lips.

    Alec blinked "I understand" he said "but I know it's not my place but have you ever considered leaving him?" He asked "he doesn't seem that nice after what I've just witness". He leaned closer wanting to get a better look at Jacklyn's injuries in case he needed to be taken to the hospital.

    Jacklyn smiled weakly, "I'm too weak and nervous to do anything for myself honestly. I mean, I am really fast and light on my feet, but i'm not very physically built. I don't stand a chance." He said with a tiny smile, rolling his eyes and moving so the other male could get a clearer look at the injury. His cheek was still bleeding, though it was light it was there nonetheless.

    Alec nodded, "if you break up with him he'll hurt you" he said "but this isn't healthy Jacklyn, one day he's going to hit you and you're going to have a hard time getting up". "I'm going to try and clean this cut up" he said and went back to the kitchen to get an ice pack and a first aid kit.

    Jacklyn sighed, nodding and smiling. "I already came to terms with that." He said with a tiny giggle. "It doesn't really matter though. I mean, nobody honestly cares anymore. He isn't half as bad at my mom though let me tell you" He giggled, looking at his hand and chuckling. "I got a fuzzzzz" He said, pulling the fuzz off his hand.

    Robert smiled coming back with the first aid kit and ice pack. He started to dab the disinfecting wipe on the cut. "Sorry this is going to sting a little" he said as he cleaned the room. "Well Lika obviously cares very much" he said "and I do too, no one should go through this at all". Lika pushed her face against Jacklyn's chest.

    Jacklyn laughed, petting the dog and wincing slightly at the sting, but not moving. He picked Lika up and kissed her before setting her back down, laughing. "Shes adorable. And, thanks." He said to Alec ((*Cough* xD

    "Adorable is one way to put it" he said, "a pest is another adjective you can use to describe her". He grabbed a bandaid out of the kit and put it over the cut. Grabbing the ice pack he gently pressed it to his cheek "you're going to want to hold this here so the swelling goes down" he said

    Jacklyn nodded, giggling. "Thanks! Let me find some way to repay you, I have money in my room." He said kindly, his eyes soft as they gazed at the wall before him, not really moving to look anywhere else until the other male spoke.

    Alec nodded "no problem" he said "and there is no need to pay me, this is what any neighbor would do". "This is a strange request, but if it makes you uncomfortable you don't have to do it. But would you be more comfortable hanging out here for the night? I just don't want to see you getting hurt again, and I also want to keep check of your wound"

    The small male nodded, smiling. "Sure! At least let me make you some cake though! I have the mix in my room, and I still kinda have to move some broken glass." He laughed softly, rubbing the back of his neck and giving a small chuckle. Worthless. He got up, stumbling slightly and catching himself, looking at his legs and smiling, "Not bad, got up on the first try this time. Good job guys." He laughed slightly, rolling his eyes and looking at Alec.

    Alec smiled, glad he could keep Jacklyn here for at least the night. He hoped that the boyfriend wasn't coming back any time soon, that would be a stick and most likely violent situation. Alec quickly stood up "I can do that" he said "you need to rest and let your body recover from the trauma"

    Jacklyn pouted, balling his fists up at his sides. "Nooooo way. My body is fine, I'm used to this anyway. Pweeeeeseee?" He asked with puppy dog eyes, giving a pouty lip before giggling at himself. His messy hair fell over his forehead and almost covered one of his eyes as he looked at Lika. "YOu could take lessons from me on that short stuff" He chuckled, using one hand to cover his mouth.

    Alec shook his head "As much as you are convincing" he said "I can't let you do that". He stood up "just relax, play with Lika a little bit. It's not that bad resting" he said. Lika barked and squirmed around and started to lick Jacklyn's face.

    Jacklyn laughed at the dog, rolling his eyes and grumbling. "You grab the batter but i'm making it! I love making cakes" He whined, rolling his eyes and giggling, picking Lika up and kissing her

    Alex sighed and knew he couldn't convince him. "Fine, but you stay here with Lika and I'll get them" he said and took one last glance at them, then headed out to Jacklyn's apartment.

    Jacklyn giggled, nodding and keeping Lika company


    Back in Jacklyn's apartment, the place was a little spruced up, but there was still glass and such scattered about the apartment. Blood stains scattered the bottom of the wall and a small trail into the living area. In the kitchen, was the cake powder and the frosting that he had bought earlier. There also was several knives, forks, spoons, etc.. On the counter for some reason. Scratch marks on the counter and such, one day and they had already wrecked the place.

    Alec glanced around as he walked in, he didn't want to invade their privacy, but it was obvious he wasn't going to get anything out of Jacklyn. He noticed the shattered glass and went to the kitchen to clean it up. He looked down at the counter and took his phone out, snap a few quick pictures of the place for evidence that he could possible use later. Then he started to clean the glass up, once that was done. He grabbed the components for the cake and headed back over to his apartment.
