  • Wavewing was pacing around her science classroom in the form of a meerkat so she could move quickly but get into small cabinets full of herbs. She thought the clan could use classes on simple herbs and maybe more complex ones later on. She hoped she could make these weekly so people had time to digest the information and she had time to prepare. Windchimes hadn't really said much about what Wavewing was supposed to do but she decided on her own to host herbal and science classes. She had put up a couple posters near her area to show that this was happening and she had put in some stuff so that if someone couldn't read, the poster would speak the message. Hopefully at least 2 people would come, Windchimes, because they were the leader and Greyscale, because they were friends-ish. She had also made small woven baskets from long grass to hold her herbs in . Taking a couple filled with poppy seeds, she plopped them onto the desk with the other things like catnip, moss and her small glass vial of mouse bile. She preferred the more traditional ways of healing although she knew a fair amount of healing magic just in case something was really bad.

Neatening a blanket of moss that doubled as a bed, she organized her den a bit more and put a few smaller moss blankets for the others to sit on. She sat down on her moss and contentedly waited for people to arrive and promptly morphed back into an eagle.

"Hello Wavewing, glad to see you around and holding a class" she would saying giving a smile to the water eagle before looking at the scene infront of her. It seemed that the bird really loved being in the medic division, hopefully others could learn off of her and Necros. She always found leaders really helpful if they knew the basics of herbs in their clan so she would be delighted to learn some herself and would impatiently take a seat, a smile on her face as she waited for others and the class to begin.

  • Wavewing was overjoyed when Windchimes and Greyscale walked into her room and she decided that as long as at least 3 people were there, she would start the class. While waiting for one more person, she passed out poppy seeds and miscellaneous leaves to her friends.

Greyscale examined the materials placed before him and the others with curiosity. He recognized the leaves (though couldn't identify and specific ones), having seen them in the forest, though couldn't seem to figure out what the small black beads were. He poked one with his claw with no result, deciding to wait for an explanation from his avian friend.

[fancypost=border-width:0px; width: 450px; text-align: justify; font-size: 7pt; line-height: 120%][font='Arial']bakerpaw was a bit late to the class. hopefully no one would mind too much, she hadn't meant to. she'd only just found out about it when talking to a npc about how she was a nurse apprentice or whatever they called it here. medic student, doctor-in-training, healer, etc. "sorry for being late!" the apprentice chirps out as she briskly trots into the classroom to take a seat in front of one of the unclaimed piles of poppy seeds and semi-familiar leaves being placed out.

  • "It's fine, I didn't want to start this class until there were at least 3 people so your timing was wonderful." Wavewing said this as she passed a small basket of herbs to the nurse apprentice before she sat down. Flying over to her desk, she said, "So, this is an herb class so obviously I will be teaching you guys about simple herbs. If you look in the baskets you will see small black balls. These are most commonly used next to cobwebs but I did not bring cobwebs today. They are called poppy seeds and are used to relieve minor and mild pain. The dose depend on the size of the animal but it is usually a very small handful and should never be given to very small children. I've made a couple dummies out of ice and they are supposed to imitate being in pain until you give them the right amount of poppy seeds. If you give them too little, they will continue to look pained, if you give them too much, they will spit all of the seeds back at you. Good luck!" She thought her instructions were a bit longwinded but they were very thorough which was always good.

The femme looked at Wavewing and the poppy seeds intll she finally nodded and skipped forward looking at the several ice dummies and finally picking one with eager as she dropped some poppy seeds onto the ground next to her. She scanned the ice, seeing as it was a pretty big wolf with a scar running across its chest she decided on six seeds and carefully placed them in his mouth.

"Hmm, oahh" she would yelp as the seeds shot right back at her and into her face. Well, it was worth a shot and it was her first time using seeds. She decided on four seeds and placed them in his mouth. Seeing as the wolf didn't spit anything else back at her she nodded and gave a small smile.

  • Wavewing saw that Windchimes was the first to go up and she held in a laugh when the dummy spat the seeds out at her. She congratulated the leader when the dummy put on a smile and didn't spit out the seeds. She looked at the two others with a face that said, "It's your turn."

Greyscale picked up the seeds, walking pver to a dummy of a feline, smaller than him and trembling like a lead. He almost felt sympathetic for the structure, though it was far from alive. He hesitantly placed a single seed in its mouth. Nothing happened. Another seed. Still nothing. He dropped a third seed in, and finally the trembling slowed to a stop. Were they dead? No, they couldn't be, they were never alive in the first place.

  • Wavewing saw Grey giving the dummy poppy seeds one at a time. "Grey, you have found a great method for distributing the seeds but you might want to go a little quicker in an emergency, in class though, you did wonderfully." She was proud of her friends for getting this right so quickly and waited for Bakerpaw to take her turn.
