  • "You'd better not. I'm holding you to that" he said smiling as he drew. He tried to be careful since he was using marker, but managed to make a pretty life like image of her. "So what do you think?" he asked pointing it to her

  • "It's amazing Gus! May I keep it? I promise I'll draw you a picture or paint you something soon" she smiled. Wrapping her arms around him in a loving embrace "I'm so lucky" she whispered.

  • "And I'm lucky too and of course you can keep it. I made it for you after all" he said handing her the drawing. He then took her hand and led her out of the studio. "There's somewhere else I want to take you"

  • Enna was having the time of her life if truth be told, hand in hand with someone she had never cared so deeply for. Heart fluttering and cheeks tingling with a shy blush. She gently tucked away the piece of paper into her satchel to keep it safe. "Where?" The curiosity evident, in general Enna was a very curious young woman.

  • "You'll see" he said. He led her to his bike outside and soon they were driving down the road. This time they stopped in front of a building that looked abandoned and he got off to help her off the bike. "This is the town's old record store. It still has everything inside and there's still an entrance inside. It's my special place and I want to share it with you" he explained leading her a broken window and helped her crawl inside

  • Enna blinked at the place they pulled up at, it looked univinting and rather unsafe and frightening. Hugging Gus's arm as she listened to him. Though she didn't question the man, managing a small smile and a nod. This was his special place and she felt honoured to be brought to it. Timidly following after him as she looked around her. Taking his hand once again as she offered a tiny sneeze offering him an apologetic smile.

  • It looked old and hadn't been inhabited in a long time with dust almost everywhere. However, everything was still intact. All the old records where still there and even a working record player was there. Gus turned on the lights and showed her everything in the small store. "My parents met in this store back in 1983, it's bee really special to my family since then. They were pissed when it closed down. Now it's my place to hang out that no one can take away" he explained. He walked down the aisle gazing over the different albums. "Hey you got a favorite artist?" he asked

  • "It's beautiful" she murmured softly, smiling softly as she traced a finger through some dust on a shelf. Listening to his words "my parents met at a coffee shop" she laughed. "Uhm probably not one on record, I don't know a lot about records and vinyls" she admitted "but I'd love to hear one of your favourites"

  • "Then I have the perfect one for you" he said pulling out the one he had his eyes on. He moved over to the record player and got it ready to play the record. Soon the voice of David Bowie was playing and Gus smiled. "This is one of my favorites" he exclaimed

  • Enna closed her eyes in appreciation "I've heard some of his work" she smiled as she recognised fhe voice that soon greeted them, content to just listen as she lightly leant against the man. She couldn't help but wonder if he had ever taken another girl here before, like Neina.

  • Gus smiled wrapping an arm around her. He led her over to a corner where there were some old bean bag chairs were placed. He sat her down next to him and he kissed her cheek. "You know you're one of the first girls I've brought here" he admitted holding her close to him

  • Enna blushed, resting her head on his shoulder in content "what makes me so special?" She laughed. Knowing their time would likely soon be up. He undoubtedly had places to be and people to see. "I can see why you love this place so much. Don't worry, I won't tell a soul about it"

  • "You're different from the other girls I've been with. You're sweet, artistic, musically gifted and so innocent. You haven't experienced everything that they have and what I've been though. I love that about you. I want to help you learn more about the world than just what you've done before. Coming to my special place is your first step into my world" he explained kissing her neck

  • She listened to his words shyly, a blush still on her face. Giggling as he kissed her neck and lightly tacked him to the floor, tussling and play fighting with him as she laughed and smiled. "I'm pretty tough too, you know!" She laughed, just playing and messing around with the man. It didn't have to be serious, it didn't have to have bad intentions. The man was more than enough for her, she just wanted his company, to smile and laugh with him. He never would have to prove himself or worry about his self worth with her.

  • "Of course you're tough. You were able go to a party at Neina's house. I think that's tough since you knew how Neina disliked you just because you got my attention. I still think that was stupid of her. She needs to move on from me" he said flipping over her so that he was on top of her facing down. He looked happy on the outside, but he was worried about what Neina would do to get her revenge on them.

  • Enna gazed up at him shyly as he laid over her, he seemed off. Perhaps deep in thought was the word. "Is something wrong, Gus?" She asked softly as she leaned closer to kiss his forehead. Enjoying the warm and pressure of his body on top of her own. "I wonder if she ever will. Ah well no harm done!" Innocent Enna seemed to just have no idea, no clue. She thought it would not go further. That it had already come to an end. When it was just the beginning.

  • Gus was lost in thought when she asked the question. "Huh?...No everything's fine. I'm just thinking about something" he explained a bit nervously. He hoped she wouldn't have to know about the turf fights. He could try to hide her from his gang life for a while, but he knew he couldn't do it forever. "I hope you're right sweetheart" he said. He then smiled leaning closer to her and until his lips were on top of hers. He kissed her and wrapped his arms around her

  • Enna frowned slightly, getting a bad feeling about his actions. Was it not as simple that it would all go away? Was he hiding something from her? He wasn't keeping secrets from her. Was he? "You're hiding something, aren't you?" She whispered to him. Kissing him gently in return for a few long moments, hair spilling out over the dusty floor.

  • Gus took a few minutes before answering. "I might be, but it's because it's just going to take some time for me to explain everything. Though we do have quite a bit of time. Do you want to hear it?"

  • She smiled warmly "of course I do! It's ok Gus" she promised, resting a hand on his chest. Gaze loving and patient, she had no idea. No idea at all. She saw the world quite simply, she saw it half full and never half empty. One day it would slam down on her, hard.
