    Gus glared at her until she left the room finally. He turned back to face Enna and snuggled into her. "Would you be willing to skip school tomorrow to come see me? Or do you want to stop by when school's done?"

    "Just let me pick up some stuff from my locker, I'll call in sick and study and do my homework here with you. Sound good?" She was a near perfect student. She doubted the teachers would fuss too much if she did the work outside of school no doubt they also knew of gus' situation.

    Enna giggled, playfully kissing him back. Despite his tough boy bravado. He was truly so good to her "your friends said they would look after me" she assured him. "Maybe when you're all better you can teach me how to drive a motorcycle" the young woman smiled. She knew she would have to leave the man soon. Surviving another gripping night away from him. Tonight she would go back home to Luna and her own bed.

    "That's good, I don't want you getting hurt. Especially if a turf war breaks out" he said. He nuzzled her and chuckled hearing her suggestion. "I think it would be great if you learned how to drive my bike" he smiled. It probably would go to her if I don't make it he thought. "So you going back to your apartment?"

    Enna was unaware of his thoughts, it seemed her mind could not imagine such an out come of Gus not pulling through. "I don't think I'm going to be a very good driving student" she cautioned playfully. Smiling with a nod as he asked where she was going to sleep at. "Yes, Luna needs to be checked on and my bed still might smell of you"

    "I'm going to patience with you as long as you're learning from me" he promised. He kissed her gently and soon pulled away. "Not to mention your living room might smell of cigarettes" he added

    "I don't mind, I'll just open my window for a while" Enna assured him gently "I'm so sorry sweet Gus, but I should probably head off soon, visiting hours will be done soon"

    Enna smiled as the man drifted off to sleep gently kissing his forehead and then leaving. Making her own way home by walking

    Enna had gotten home alright. Though some guys had crossed her path, naturally the woman had stayed away from them. But she had a bad feeling about them lurking around. Getting herself dinner and tuning in for an early night. Only to be interrupted from her already troubled sleep by a phone call. Her heart stopping in terror as she swiftly answered it "Gus?!"

    "O-one of my machines is beeping and I don't know what it means. A nurse is coming over, but I want you to come over too. You know in case it's something serious. I'd call my mom, but I can't take her away from work or else they might try to fire her. Can you please come baby?" he asked sounding frantic

    Enna had had hardly any sleep, but she swiftly assured Gus she would be right there. It was dark, the early hours of the morning. She had no way to get there other than on foot. Swiftly dressing in whatever pants and hoodie she could find and tying her hair in a messy bun as she gently grabbed her keys and phone and bustled out of the door making her way as quickly as she could to the hospital. Her mind running and fearing they wouldn't even let her in to see him at this hour.

    A few nurses had come in to figure out what was going on with Gus's machine and realizing that they might need to bring him in for a few tests. Gus didn't want to do any of the tests until Enna came. There was some argument between them as Enna entered. Finally they gave in and let Enna go into the room. Gus smiled seeing her and reached out to hug her. "Enna, baby. They want to run some tests on me"

    the woman looked shattered, ruffled from fighting with staff in the other room to let her in. Clothing disheveled from running over to the man and dark circles under her eyes. But her face was lit up with a worried smile, as Enna rushed forward and hugged him tight. "That's alright. You should get them done and get some answers"

    "You'll be the waiting room right? I don't think they'll let you in the room with me. You could catch up on your sleep. I'm sorry I woke you up at three in the morning for something like this" he apologized holding onto her and kissing her forehead

    "Never apologise Gus, you're worth it" Enna promised softly with a tired and loving smile. She yawned softly. Kissing him gently as she watched him go, reluctantly staying in the waiting room. Pacing back and forth, exhausted but unable to settle and rest from worry.

    Gus gave her a last kiss as they did some tests on him. A nurse came to explain things to Enna. "Sweetie, we've been running some tests on your boyfriend and we've concluded that we're going to need to do some surgery. Though we can't do anything until a parential figure comes and signs off. Your boyfriend's got a legal guardian, right?" she asked
