"do you smell that?" He asked, his nose returning to the sidewalk again. Something didn't smell right at all. He shook his head and kept pace with Amber, careful not to fall behind.

Amber looked back to him with a confused look. "What is it you smell?" She asked slowing down so they didn't lose the scent and wouldn't find out the source.
-
"I'm not sure. It's familiar though and I'm not sure its good." Tye kept his nose close to the ground and shook his head, "Maybe I'm just not used to all these different-"
"Hello again Amber, my dear." Tye was interrupted by Shaman, who stood tall and proud. "How are you doing? And you little one?" He addressed the both of them slyly, insulting Tye slightly. -
Amber looked up quickly when she heard Shamans voice. Well that explained the smell. "Hello, Shaman." She responded politely, keeping herself close to The to make sure nothing happened. "We're doing good thank you. I was just about to show Tye the water fountains near the middle of the city." She answered, silently hoping he would take the hint and leave.
-
"How sweet. If you want, we could grab a bite to eat before hand. I have a friend whose owner owns a meat shop not too far from the fountain." Shaman made sure to keep his head up as he glared at Tye.
-
Amber opened her mouth to inject before she felt a rumble in her stomach indicating that she was still hungry. "You don't mind do you Tye? I am still oretty hungry." Amber didn't like Shaman all that much but she was never one to turn down freefood.
-
Tye was honestly hungry too, so he hung his head in defeat. "I guess let's go." He looked up and Shaman and rolled his eyes as the brute smiled. "Right this way, my dear." Shaman turned to his left and cut through an alley, where people and dogs alike were bussing around.
-
Amber followed after Shaman quietly staying close to Tye. "Don't worry." She whispered softly so Shaman wouldn't hear. "As soon as we eat we're gonna ditch him."
-
Tye nodded, keeping an eye on Shaman. When the brute looked back, Tye looked away. "So Amber. You care to share a little about yourself?" Shaman sat beside her as they stopped outside a meat shop, waiting for a friend to see Shaman
-
Amber sat down outside the meat shop. She would admit that this place smelt wonderful. "Uh. Well I was born to a litter of five but after a month our mom was taken to the pound and I haven't seen her sense. I've lived in my own until I decided to let Tye stay with me after the whole incident at the park."
-
"I heard about the park. I'm surprised you let him stay." Shaman looked over Tye like be was ultimately superior. A dog from inside came out of the doggy door and brought some smoked sausages, plenty for the three of them. "Thanks Amante." Shaman nodded to the old black lab and picked up his portion. "I guess I better let y'all get back to your friendship walk. Amber, if you need me, I'm still where you first met me." He winked and growled at Tye before walking away. Tye sighed and looked down at his food, not hungry anymore.
-
Amber watched as a old black lab came out with some sausages. Turning to Shaman she nodded. "Thanks for the food. It's really appreciated." She said with a small smile. Bending down she started to eat her share when she noticed Tye wasn't. "Tye? Come on eat we're gonna be out for a while." She said nudging him playfully with her noise.
-
Tye looked up at her and nodded, smiling partially. "Alright." The collie ate only a small bit and nudged the rest towards Amber. "I'm not really that hungry. You can have the rest." He looked over his shoulder at the busking street and sighed.
-
Amber looked down at her food with a questioning gaze. "Are you sure?" She asked tilting to her head. "If this is about Shaman you shouldn't let whatever he says get to you Tye." The dog said with a small frown.
-
"No, its not him. He doesn't bother me." Tye smiled, but inside he knew that Shaman always got to him. "You eat. You need it more than I do." He nodded to Amber and sniffed the ground quietly.
-
Amber frowned, but shrugged. "If you say so." She said bending down to continue eating the sausages. Once she was done, She looked up and smiled. "Come on let's go. We'll be there soon." She said standing to her feet and licking her lips.
-
Tye nodded and his tail gave a light wag as Amber continued towards whatever this fountain in the city was. He trotted beside her and focused on the road ahead.
-
Amber smiled and led him down another street. They were close. After a few short minutes they arrived. "Here we are!" She said pointing towards the pretty fountains.
-
Tye's jaw dropped and he walked forward a few steps and then looked at Amber, "this is gorgeous!" He ran over to the fountains and sniffed around, acting completely careless.
-
Amber laughed and nodded. "Yes it is." She said watching him run around. "Just be careful!" She didn't want him getting hurt again. That would very bad.
