Tye smiled and stepped inside, the chain of sausages falling from his neck, "Et Viola! Sausage!" He sat down, looking proud. "I found some market that was totally cool..." He ears shot back and his eyes lowered, "Then I ran into Shaman, so I think that's his territory."

Amber smiled proudly. For a house pet he was great at finding food. Her brown eyes rolled at the mention of Shaman. That brute again. "He didn't hurt you did he?" She would go and find him herself if she had too.
-
"no, no." He smiled, "I'm faster than that." Tye's tail wagged slightly as he began to feel proud of himself. "For a house pet, I don't think I'm that bad at this whole street thing." The Collie chuckled and smiled warmly at Amber
-
Amber gave him a warm smile. "Hmm. Yes you are." She laughed walking over to give his cheek a playful lick. "Just don't ahead of yourself." She warned, sitting down on her hind legs. "Just because Shaman didn't attack you doesnt mean another dog won't."
-
Tye smiled, knowing what Amber was saying is fact. He honestly wasn't sure how long he'd last out here, but he shook his head of negative thoughts and looked at what was good; Amber. He ate some sausages happily.
-
Amber smiled and ate some of the sausage hungrily. "Mhmm. Where did you get this?" She asked curiously. It was possible that got a food truck. "Do you want to see the city. I don't think it would be a good idea to go to the dog park yet. Just in case the human comes back and sees you." The blinde furred dog staed.
-
Tye paused, thinking about the human... "I kinda miss him..." The brown and white dog looked at Amber at the mention of the city. "Actually, I wouldn't mind it." He had never been except to the veterinarian.
-
Amber frowned, but didn't say anything regarding his old human. He hurt Tye an that was enough reason for her not to like him. "Then let's go. The days young so we can get most of the city covered." She said with a smile, nodging her nose to get him to go near the opening.
-
Tyw walked out, stepping back onto the cement. "So how big is the city?" He sniffed the air before following after Amber.
-
"You didn't get out much did you?" Amber questioned, looking over her shoulder at Tye. "The whole city is huge. We can probably get a quarter of it done before nightfall." That's when the real danger began.
-
Tye tilted his head to the side a bit, "What's so dangerous about night?" He looked over at Amber with a burning curiosity about the city.
-
Amber looked back to her friend. "A lot of things." She stated with a frown continuing to lead the way. "Night is when the big dogs come out and they don't play around. If they catch us on their territory they will not hesitate to hurt us. It's also a danger to walk around on the street because it's harder for humans driving their cars to see us and we end up being roadkill."
-
Tye stopped and frowned. "Oh... That reminds me..." He looked down and sighed, "I had a sister you know, one that lived in that box with me after everyone else was taken..." He shook his head, deciding to leave the thought behind. "It doesn't matter, we just have to be careful." Extra careful he thought.
-
Amber frowned and waited for him to catch up to her. "What happened to her?" If they were so young a number of things could have happened. There were some dogs who, if they were hungry enough, would sometimes eat really young puppies. Amber never wanted to go that low. "It's okay to tell me. I won't tell anyone else."
-
"she eventually got tired of the same four cardboard walls and wanted mum, so she ran out, a car struck her... A bigger dog came and drug her away, she was still alive too..." He looked at Amber and nodded. "Then you know the rest of my story after that. How my human saved me and all." Tye huffed and shook out his pelt, yawning.
-
Amber frowned and licked his cheek in a comforting way. "I'm sorry that happened." She said with a soft smile. It was horrible what happened to his sister, but no one could control who died in this world. "Come on. I want to take you to this really cool fountain area."
-
Tye nodded, feeling warm as she comforted him. "What's a fountain?" He asked, catching up to her and walking beside her, curiosity starting all over again.
-
Amber looked back to her friend. "Fountains are these things made of this weird hard stuff and they spurt water out of them. I found out their name from a woman a while ago." She answered turning down a corner.
-
Tye stuck close to her side, looking around at everything. "Strange. But sounds kinda cool." He sniffed the ground a second before returning to Amber.
-
Amber nodded. "I thought so at first too." The retriever stated, continuing down a long narrow street. It wouldn't take them long to get to the destination as long as they kept the pace they have so far.
