    The border collie thought the alley looked a little sketchy, but if Amber came here every night, he was sure it was safe. A tent? He thought he might've seen one before, or heard his human mention one before. "Wow." He said, taken back by how cozy her home looked.

    Amber smiled at how impressed he was. It took a while to get it to look this nice. "Come on." She sad leasing him in quietly. Turning around she looked around to make sure no dogs or cats were around before closing the tent shut once more. The tent was filled with old, soft, dog beds and pillows. Even if she wasn't a house pet, she did like comfort. "Take your pick at any of them." She said with a smile.

    Tye found a blue one much like the one at home and he plopped down on it. Halfway curled up so he didn't hurt his side. The Collie sighed and laid his head atop his paws and looked over at Amber, "its been quite the day, hasn't it?"

  • Amber||3||Female||Stray

    Amber nodded her agreement, laying down on a red bed ensr Tye's. "It has been very adventurous." She said with a small laugh, curling up and laying her head near the edge of the bed with a sigh. "I'll find us something to eat in the morning."

    Tye fell asleep rather quickly, not making a sound. Sometime in the night, the wind had picked up and thunder roared, causing Tye to jump awake. He winced as his side throbbed with pain and he sat back down, a little closer to Amber. He nudged his bed closer to hers and he laid back down, still awake.

    Amber had fallen asleep not long after Tye. She was sleeping peacefully until she heard moving. Opening her eyes she blinked confusedly and looked up to see Tye awake and their beds closer together. "Tye?" She called out softly to the border collie. "Are you okay?" She asked, sitting up to get a closer look at him.

    Tye whined a little as lightning outside lit up the interior of the tent. "I'm not a fan of storms... I lived in an open box for a week through storms..." The kept his eyes closed as thunder rumbled outside. "Then my- the human saved me." He corrected himself mid sentence, feeling comfortable with opening up to the retriever.

    Amber gave her friend a sympathetic look. "Will laying with me help?" She asked gently tilting her head. She didn't want him to stay up all night frightened by this storm. He needed rest and if him sleeping enar her would help, than she'd be more than happy to do it. "I have enough room in my bed for you."

    Tye looked at her and shrugged, feeling suddenly like a both to Amber. "You sure you're okay with that? Human did the same thing for me..." He looked around the tent, then jumped again when the thunder echoed in the alley, making it louder than before. Lightning lit up the tent once more and the rain suddenly stopped, but it still thundered.

    Amber nodded with a smile. "I'm positive." She assured before scooting over to make some more room for him on the comfy bed. "Now come on over here." She ordered, nudging the dog with her nose playfully. "I'm sure this will make you feel better. Plus it keeps both of us extra warm for the night."

    Tye obeyed, curling up next to the female. He closed his eyes and sighed, their shared warmth comforting him. Eventually, almost fifteen minutes later, the collie was snoring softly, sleeping happily.

  • Amber||3||Female||Stray

    Amber smiled once the border collie obeyed her order and laid down next to her. Their shared warmth was very comforting, and made it even more easy to sleep in the cold night weather. Once Tye fell back asleep, Amber laid her head against his and soon dozed off herself.

    Tye enjoy their shared warmth. He slept peacefully through the night, not moving, afraid to lose the warmth between them. He woke up early the next day, very sore. His muscles ached and his side cramped. Standing, the collie winced, his spine popping as he stretched. He looked at Amber and licked her behind the ear affectionately, thanking Ber silently for her aid.

  • Amber hummed softly from the lick given to her ear. Blinking her eyes opened, the blonde furred dog released a yawn. "Hey Tye." She said with a smile, standing to her feet and stretching out her body to get rid of the tension. "Feeling any better? I can go find us some food if you're hungry." She offered looking the male dog over.

  • Tye shook his head, "No, that's alright. I think I'll just go out myself." He smiled and used the metal thing to open the tent, stepping out and onto the damp ground beneath them. He sniffed the air and looked around, trying to figure out what there was to eat around here.

  • Ambet nodded and shook her fur. "If you're sure. Just be careful. Dogs can be very territorial around here so run at the first sign of danger." She warned licking her mouth. "And try to steal from the food trucks. Those are the easiest places to get food as long as you run afterwards."

  • Tye nodded, trotting away. He found himself in a marketplace, people bustling around outside. He sniffed along through the crowd until he came upon a meat stand, selling smoked meats. Tye wagged his tail, standing up, whining. The man looked at the dog and smiled, petting him. Tye licked his arm and the man smiled, "okay okay, fine. You have friends?" Tye woofed quietly, putting a paw over his face. The man left, and came back with a string of sausages, "here, these are too old to sell. Be a good dog."

    Tye barked and jumped down, the man wrapping the sausages around Tye's neck. At least he was friendly to strays. This whole section of town seemed to be. "Hey, pup." The voice sounded so familiar, and when Tye looked, it was Shaman. Tye growled and ran off, leaving the dog to laugh alone.

    Eventually, Tye made it back to the tent, after getting lost a few times, "Amber?" He woofed, sticking his head in the tent.

  • Amber watched her friend trot away with a smile. She hoped he would be okay. He wasn't a stray. Tye was used to having things handed to him by his owner, not have to find it on his own. Licking her lips, she patiently waited for Tye to get back with the food he hopefully would fine. Perking up once she heard him coming back, the golden furred dog stood to her paws. "Did you get it?" She asked.
