  • TURN AROUND, THERE'S NOTHING THERE

A small feline was waiting on StormClan's border.

A breeze ruffled her fur, the dusty-ginger and white strands waving softly. Occasionally the breeze would settle, and for just a moment, her pelt would glitter softly, translucent stars forming and twinkling. Yet the wind would soon fly again, and the celestial illusions would vanish. Her sand-colored hues were trained on the territory, her ebony pupils large.

Call out to them. Tell them you're here. Tell them about me. She pushed her ears back, angling them so that they parallel to her whiskers. "Maple, I can't!" she meowed suddenly, her heart leaping into a quick sequence of beats. "I'm not ready for this."

Trust yourself, I believe in you. The feline swallowed, nodding to the voice within her mind. Raising her head, she hesitatingly rose a paw and stepped over the border. Fear engulfed her body, waves of hard worry washing over her mind. And then she ran.

Trees and shrubs filled her vision, passing by in a blur as she stampeded through the forest. Her dust-colored paws thundered upon the soil as she whisked through StormClan territory. Fear drove her forward...yet after a while, she no longer felt the need to run. Panting quietly, the slowed to a walk, to a pad, to a stop. The stars on her pelt flickered, drained from her run.

Fog cleared from her vision. A tree stood before her, on the side of a lake. The azure above was bright and cheery, ivory clouds hovering above the forest. Below her paws, the soil was moist, and she dug her claws into it, sighing blissfully. Here...it felt just like home, like she had been here for centuries, basking in the territory's paradise.

    "I...I know this place..."

    EVERYTHING'S VANISHED IN THE AIR

  • A spirit was not something one saw everyday, and being a firm believer in StarClan it would be an important occurrence, an omen. Maybe a prophecy? She wouldn't know until the other spoke.

Blazestar certainly wasn't expecting to see a starclanner today. Though when the starry pelt came into her vision she let out a gasp. What was this? "Hello? Who are you?" Blaze asked, surprise in her voice. It was sad to see that the other was so young too, it was always sad when one had an early death.

  • TURN AROUND, THERE'S NOTHING THERE

So focused was she on the landscape, the feline was unaware of the approaching leader. Her vision was foggy as she dug through memories, desperately trying to make sense of her situation. She did not believe she'd been there before, yet the area was strangely familiar.

[align=justify]The spirit's heart jumped as Blazestar entered behind her, the stars in her pelt tinkling quietly as she leapt in surprise. After her mind had settled, she turned to face StormClan's leader. As she did so, a strange feeling washed over her, and she titled her head slowly, as if it would aid her attempt at understanding.

That's Blazeheart- she was one of my best friends, and my mentor, too. The medicine cat when you were born, the voice in her mind whispered. With this knowledge, the small feline smiled, relieved that she had found who she was looking for. She opened her mouth to speak, yet a formal response seemed to be the wrong response. Instead, she clamped her maw closed and grinned. "Blazeheart! It's me!" In truth, she could not recall any memories of this feline, but according to her family, they had been in the clan together. Perhaps they remembered her.

// sorry, I can't seem to get the fancy right. xD

  • /lol it's fine, and zodiac is that you?

At first, she didn't recognize the other. It had been so long and Blaze had only seen her as a kit, she had changed so much. Blaze had also changed in appearance a bit, she now donned a flower crown and had a couple more scars, but she was still pretty much the same. Though the other seemed to recognize her, it took the ginger feline a moment to recall who the starry apprentice was.

"Marigoldkit?" she said, her voice surprised. Wasn't this Maple's kit? Or was she getting it all wrong? She would hope that she got it right, but it would take a response from the one in question to see.

  • TURN AROUND, THERE'S NOTHING THERE

As Blazestar spoke her name, a memory flooded Marigold's mind. Fog filled her vision before clearing to the sides, revealing a scene from her own eyes. She was lying in a soft, mossy nest, her mother purring softly beside her, when a ginger muzzle poked into the nursery and the leader stepped in. She could not remember any more, besides one thing: after that one day, Maple had never slept with her again. She moved back to the medicine den and left Marigold alone with her littermates.

The spirit refocused her gaze on the blind feline before softly meowing an answer. "Yes," she murmured, swishing her feather-like tail in a happy, friendly manner.

A noise was heard from behind the pair. The leader's apprentice was carrying a small mouse as he padded over to the pair looking up at Marigold with bright curious eyes. Huffing a bit he placed the mouse down and looked back to she-cat. ``Hey there? How did you end up here..?`` Much like the leader Feather believed in starclan. Contrary to this he didn't believe they just poof into the clan for some tea and cookies. Feather narrowed his eyes, preparing himself for the bad news this cat was probably going the share.
