  • The long legs of the creature carried her at a steady lope with ease. A light breeze was blowing through the girl's silky fur, giving her some relief from the harsh heat of the day. She could see quite clearly now the island up ahead, along with the river that separated it from the mainland. The agile canine seemed to pick its way effortlessly over the rocky terrain as the stones and pebbles slowly gave way to the sandy river's edge. As she neared the clan's water-based border the girl's pace slowed, her easy lope turning to a gentle walk. Now her paws were beginning to sink in the sand as she moved and her chocolate brown eyes had noticed that someone on the island seemed to have spotted her already. Coming to a halt, the Border Collie watched as the figure on the other side of the river began to approach, crossing the river over the stepping stones the dog had noticed earlier.

A soft smile appeared on the canine's face, her fluffy tail giving a gentle wag of greeting. "Hello, I'm sorry to bother you. My name's Mahalia," as she introduced herself the girl's head tilted somewhat to the side. "I'm here to join, actually. If you'll have me." Here Mahalia's soft voice turned somewhat sheepish, the slight shuffling of her front paws giving away the peaceful girl's nerves.

felix shouldn't even be out here. the many deep wounds that were still healing and constantly pains from his once punctured organs had rendered him useless to do anything, really. kate had told him to stay inside the medical area to make sure his wounds wouldn't get infected and that nothing else was wrong. he didn't blame her for being very much cautious over everything. the mess that happened not too long ago in the clan was surely taking a toll on her, and the added pressure of having the loud and obnoxious mess of felix invading her life wasn't exactly doing any good to her. so, against the doc's strict orders, he had left and decided to hang around the border, which really was just a huge mistake... slightly.

"of course i'll have you," felix said smoothly, signature smirk appearing on his maw. the smirk soon then fell as a few chuckles came out of his mouth, aiming to fix his snapback out of habit. "welcome to riverclan, mahalia. swedishfish kjellberg's my name, but call me felix. either name is fucking stupid as shit, so doesn't matter really." the swedish elkhound stated, ears now angled to the newcomer. "want something to eat? drink? anything?"

HERRITT XERSES - i want you who wants me again
"Ah, you're not bothering anyone." the youth chimed as he approached in what he hoped to be a reassuring tone, the lack of definitive emotions around him not allowing him to be as relaxed as he would have liked to be. He could sense the mixture of peaceful embarrassment coiling around him but did his best to, for once, shake of the emotions as best he could in order to provide this being with a good first impression and a warm welcome. He cast Felix a brief glance, a mixture of something rivalling exasperation and amusement very briefly sparking within his gaze as he fought the urge to jokingly nudge to larger canine after catching the remark that had been made. The child was quick to stop himself from doing so however, quickly reminding himself of the state that they were in. "I'm Herritt. Herritt Xerses. It's a pleasure to meet you Mahalia" the young blue brindled greyhound added as he focused his attention back onto the newcomer, amiable smile cast across his features.

New members always brought a smile to her face, despite what had happened the past few days. With the murder of her clanmates and betrayal of Titan, the snow leopard had been distraught, keeping to herself and staying in her den. This had been the first day she ventured out, determined not to let her sorrow get to her. She had to move on, she had always managed to do so. It was harder this time. Titan was the father of her kits and there was no changing that. Ever.

Himiko approached the canine, long tail swishing behind her. "Welcome to Riverclan" the russian nodded, "My name is Himiko Konstantinov, Second-mate here, It's lovley to meet you".[/color]

  • The chocolate brown eyes of the canine had watched, observing in silence as a RiverClanner crossed the river to greet her. It was a male, a dog whose body was riddled with wounds that still seemed fresh, as if he had been in some scuffle recently. Mahalia's tone had been sheepish before and her smile betraying her nerves, but as the clanner's smooth and joking words reached her ears the girl's body visibly relaxed. Her tensed shoulders dropped and she gave a small tilt of her head, listening to the male introduce himself as Felix. Yet the Border Collie did not speak immediately for just beyond Felix she could see two more clanners approaching.

Mahalia's dark eyes shifted, soft gaze moving from Felix to land upon the figure of a pup. It was a greyhound, a young kid that appeared beside Felix's side, introducing himself as Herritt Xerses. Then there was a feline, a snow leopard who introduced herself to be Himiko Konstantinov, the clan's Second Mate. Offering forth a gentle smile of her own, the silky furred lady gave a bow of her head. "It's a pleasure to meet you all, thank you for the welcome." Now her gaze turned back to Felix who had offered his assistance before. "There is one thing, Felix. Would you be able to point me in the direction of the camp? Tell me what it is that I'm looking for?" Her simple request came with a small questioning tilt of her head as she spoke.
