As he listened to King's words, he could feel a shift in Lyla's demeanor before she whimpered. As Kyler dismissed them, Lyla bolted out of the cave and he stepped backwards from the council den before turning around. Alaric ran after Lyla, slowing down as he lost her visibly. He slowed to a walk, his nose to the ground as he followed her scent. Eventually, he found her in a field. He said nothing, but walked over to her. The beta kept quiet, sitting down beside her, his fur almost touching hers in a comforting manner. He had a feeling that the training thing was what got her spooked, so he figured a calm presence would help ease her fears.

  • -Kyler is waiting on Tyde-

Lyla felt Alaric approach her, and she felt so small. He probably thought of her as a weakling. I guess she was, seeing that she had zero interest in fighting. The collie couldn't find a word to say, so she sort of leaned against Alaric, seeking comfort like a pup would from his mum. Lyla was still uneasy about the training, but with Alaric in this moment, she didn't mind at all.

Alaric felt her lean into him. He pressed his muzzle to her ear, breathing out gently. "Relax a little. Just for me okay? I can understand your fears. When I was just a pup, I was the runt of my litter. I didn't get a lot of food, and was scared to fight for the food from my mother. My eldest sibling noticed and helped me learn that fighting for food isn't a bad thing. I'll help you through this" His long story finally ended and his tone was kind, gentle and caring. He was trying to help ease her fears.

  • King listen to Kyler nodding, he sat down instinctively watching the collie run then a beta at toe. Stretching he decided he wanted to take the long way at finding Lyla. Leaving the superior den maybe he could chat with Starlight, stalking to the Elites den he shoved his big body in, crouching closely to the ground. " starlight darling won't you take me on a hunt with you? I need to find Lyla..But maybe help a big guy out?" King sucked at hunting small prey, his skill was anything big and that's about it. He can heal, mend bonds or make relationships stronger. But asking his to hunt small game was out of the question.

The husky looked up from where she had laid down. Her ice blue eyes caught on the large mastiff looking down at her. Starlight stretched and yawned before getting to her paws. "Yeah, sure. You said we're hunting for Lyla or going on a hunt?" She asked, a tad confused about exactly what King meant. Perhaps he wanted to hunt and find Lyla on the way?

  • (notice everyone thing else he said vanished xD)

King butt shimmy himself from the den, till he stood at the mouth. " Hunt then find Lyla.. If possible I like watching you hunt its all in them skills girl " He said with a quick flash of dog smile, he was onto the next subject. " So, any joint pain as of late? Tiredness agitation with males, hunger pains.. Paw sore?" Ever the medic at heart his face a endless expression of complete honest concern for her health. He even thought to get some tea for her joints.

She nodded, before allowing her to mentally check over her entire body. "I feel fine, but I guess my muscles are a little sore from the fight earlier" The husky admitted, looking up at the mastiff. "My muscles will get over it, let's head out. I can finish hunting that rabbit I almost had earlier" Starlight commented, following him out of the den.

Steele nodded at the alpha and left the den. It didn't have much to do with him, but it was still nice to know things. Has he was walking out, he saw King walking away with Starlight and huffed. His ears were pointed back but not flat. He was slightly annoyed as he had wanted to go out with the female to hunt but it seemed they would have to go later.

    Polar is open for interaction.

  • -Kyler is with Tyde-

Lyla felt a bit better in the presence of Alaric. She sighed and closed her eyes, "But you're strong and your breed is the perfect breed for fighting... I'm small and thin... I'll break and disappoint everyone." She felt comfortable in the beta's presence, and shook her head, standing up. "Maybe I just need to get my mind off of it. I'll probably feel better after I quit thinking about it." She smiled at him sweetly, hoping he went along with it.

  • Kyler paused for a second before he bolted after Tyde, smiling like a devil as he chased after the female. He hadn't been though this part of the forest, and it was beautiful in the rays of the setting sun. "Tyde!" He barked playfully, the smaller dog outrunning him.

Starlight looked over and noticed Steele looking over at her with an annoyed expression. "King, wait one second, please" She said, before trotting over towards Steele. "I'm sorry, King wanted me to take him on a hunt, and as the Alpha's medic, I couldn't say no. Trust me, I'd rather be kicking your tail at hunting. How about when I get back, we can go out?" She asked, tilting her head and looking at him.

Alaric nodded, knowing her fears. He also knew that if she tried to stop thinking about it, it wouldn't go away. He blinked his eyes, having a great idea to help her. "Come play with me. Use your speed against me and the game is to get me on the ground. Think quick and light on your paws" Alaric barked, before padding way from her. He lowered his front half to the ground, and lifted his rear in the air in a playful manner. "Come on now, you can do this. I believe in you" His every action meant to teach and engage her playful side.

  • King watched as Steele approached ah well this was cool. " Steele! Maybe with your help we..well mainly you fine hunters can bring back some food for the pack?" Completely disregarding the look on either King continued on walking ahead. " Maybe Polar would join us.. Starlight ill bring some muscle soother later Steele how are you?" Again ever a medic he leaned into checking his pack mates. Concern covered his before calm smirk.

  • Kyler smiled, following Tyde, trying to keep pace with her...

Lyla looked at Alaric and tilted her head a bit, curious as to what his idea was. She was always down for a game, so she didn't waste anytime. The Collie jumped at Alaric, her paws probably not quick enough. She jumps over him and while he's distracted, she pushed him in the side, jumping on his back.

Starlight nodded towards King, before looking over at Steele, awaiting his decision on this newest change.

Alaric § Male § Superior § Beta § Tagged; Lyla

The beta nodded as she moved, but she was quicker than he anticipated. The collie knocked him to his side and he grunted with the impact. Alaric shoved upwards, using his bulk to force her off, before trying to go after her. He was larger in build, and slower than this small and compact collie. The rottweiler was smart and knew how to fight, but he was training her in how to use her speed against a larger opponent.

  • Tyde paused near the edge of the pool and looked it Kyler eagerly "Here it is!" She beamed proudly and wagged her tail for a moment. Thinking for a moment she suddenly pushed the he in and leaped in after him, splashing in the water. Snapping at minnows she raised her head and smiled a bit, swallowing the gathered minnows.

  • Kyler smiled as he laid eyes upon the pond. He looked at Tyde just as she pulled him in the water. He laughed as he shook his coat out, standing in the water. "You're a fish fan, eh?" He looked at Tyde briefly, and while she was distracted, he lunged at her, playfully knocking her into the water again.

Lyla slid around him quickly and nudged him rather hard in the other side, laughing as he stumbled a few steps. She stopped laughing immediately and her blood went cold. Someone was there. Her ears shot up and she sniffed the air, hearing a stick crack behind her. "Alaric..." She whined, her tail tucking between her legs. There was another stick break from the left, then two from the right. Lyla started panicking, there was no way this was their pack. She couldn't smell them.

Alaric § Male § Superior § Beta § Tagged; Lyla

As he stumbled again with a light chuckle, his ears perked up. Sticks were cracking around them, and his eyes flashed as a low growl escaped his jaws. This was so not the time for this. "Lyla, stay beside me. Don't leave my side" He stated, his fur was up as his jaws parted, teeth flashing white as he kept an eye on her and whatever threat was obviously circling them downwind. He scented nothing, and that didn't sit well with him. His protective nature had completely taken over and he was not going to let anyone harm the female by him.

  • -kyler waiting on tyde-

Lyla whined quietly and cowered into the side of Alaric. She was shaking slightly and kept her eyes fixed on the side of Alaric's face, mostly because he would sense a threat quicker than she would. A growl produced itself from in front of them, then a scent filled Lyla's head. "They smell like rotting flesh and scat..." She mumbled, quickly looking back to see a dog charging them, it obviously the husky that attacked her earlier the same day.
