Those were all conditions Atticus suffered from. Did he know them though? Did he know their names and their chemistry and the reason why they happened to have settled in his sick, sick mind?
    No.
Atticus only knew he was going downright insane and there was no running from that horrid fate that had been cast ahead his path. Sometimes he wondered if he should remain living if he was just going to deteriorate more overtime. Although the male found that Opium had helped him manage symptoms and live a more stable life, it left him addicted to the drug once again. It left him a victim to it's many side effects.
Addiction and dependency was a major side effect of Opium, but many tend to forget that it was a great narcotic.
It slowed the heart, slowed breathing and weakened the muscles, it also rendered the user incredibly exhausted and unrealistically sleepy.

This was exactly why the male had fallen asleep in the middle of camp for absolutely no reason.
    No reason whatsoever.
He was just knocked out cold on the ground, snoring rather loudly now that his breathing was effective by the use of opioids.

  • [center][fancypost=border-width:0; width: 365px; text-align: justify; line-height: 1.5; font-family: arial; font-size: 7pt;]Luke had been nearby, doing whatever he did, when he saw the moose snoozing in the middle of camp. He frowned, fictional brows furrowing in concern. He approached with caution, wondering if he should wake him or not. It couldn't be comfortable. Or maybe it was. "Atticus...?" he would start quietly, prodding him gently with his paw.

The moose looked like prey to her, not like a clanmate. If she had chanced upon the sleeping beast without Luke in the area, she would have assumed it to be livestock. Livestock that was severely out of place. Hell, she might have killed it and presented it to Itzcoatl if that was the case. However, that wasn't how the events transpired. Pinkish purple eyes were fixed on the slumbering moose mostly out of curiosity. Was this the norm here? Passing out in the middle of camp? Probably not. Anyway, the canine/cervid hybrid decided to observe and maybe figure out what was up despite not saying a single word.
