i own a golden retriever named oakley who has dwarfism. hes my service dog as well.~
i swim on occasion at my schools pool, whenever they let me.

i saw a service dog at a store and on its vest it said
"PET ME"
in huge white capital letters
i didn't pet it but i did stare at it for a few seconds just internally chuckling lmao -
oakley has a vest that says "please dont touch me" bc hes used as a hearing service dog and his attention has to be on me 24/7.
im sure he loves the pets he gets when hes out of his work vest.
