Your character lived many years ago in a home for peculiar children, however she died in 1943 when German planes bombed the home during WW2. The children of this peculiar home, had peculiar abilities as you will see from the friends I have created for your character. Even though your character died, along with the many others. The lady of the house, created a time loop of that day... You live that day over and over, things occurring around you like they did the day you died, however your day to day activities do alter depending on what the lady of the house instructs you.

My character's grandfather was considered insane, and a liar. He spoke about a home for peculiar home for peculiar children he went to when he was a child. He spoke of monsters he hid from, and later on fought. He told my character he left the children's home to fight in world war two. No one in the family believed him. But when my character finds his grandfather dead with his eyes missing... and begins seeing shadows of monsters his grandfather once spoke about things begin changing. Until he finds a letter from the lady of the children's home addressed to his grandfather. He travels to Wales where the children's home is supposed to be, but when he arrives all he finds is the rubble of what once was... Until your character and the other peculiar children appear... And take him back to 1943.

[Plot highly inspired by Miss Peregrine's Home For Peculiar Children

  • 23 March 1943, the loop Hugo, Otto, Rose, Olivia, Isabella and of course Miss Peregrine lived constantly, everyday like the next for decades now, none of the children ever aging. Today was the same, Hugo or 'Sad-eyes' as he was more commonly known had his nose in a book while Olivia sat close by watching him. Otto and Rose sat on the ground playing with small wooden toys, Miss Peregrine stood in the loungeroom doorway watching over the children, like a lioness over her cubs. She held a pocket watch in her hand watching over the time, there were activities that she and the children needed to complete to ensure the loop stayed the same.

74 years in the future, lived Remington Gold or Remi as he was more commonly known. A 17 year old, he worked at the local supermarket stacking shelves all day everyday over the Summer. His manager Christine watched over him closely,. She was an older lady, and close acquaintance of Remi... Meaning she drove the teenager, to and from work, in which time they would have weird small talk while the teenager was distracted by his phone. "Oi Rem!" Christine called over to the boy as she jogged over to him awkwardly
"Your father called, your grandfather is having another episode" she explained, Remi sighed as he finished stacking the last of the oranges
"Can you drive me?" he questioned, she nodded.

  • Isabella sighed, sipping her normal tea and stroking a large cat that laid on her lap with a purr of her own. The seventeen year old sat on the house's rocking chair and watched the children play with a content sigh. Taking her hand away from the fat cat as it jumped off her lap to seek attention from another. She once again sighed, running her hand through her long ash brown hair as she gently rocked on the chair she had adopted as her own many decades ago. Sipping her scolding hot tea as she looked to Miss Peregrine who seemed to have her watch out twenty four seven. The lady was quite scary in many ways, ranging from her dark gothic like looks and protective personality. But she supposed that's how it would remain forever. She turned her attention to the clouded sky, looking at it always made her feel better for some reason.

Most people thought living the same day for the rest of your life great thing, well it most certainly was not. It was bloody hell. Especially when your only love left you to live with another to get married and dared sending pictures of his new family to you. Olivia was lucky, she never had to worry about her not-so-secret crush dying or breaking her heart. Isabella stood up, accidentally stepping on her cat's fluffy tail getting a hiss and a bite. Thanks to this the brown haired girl almost dropped her mug but thankfully she caught it at the last moment. Quietly letting out curses at her clumsy behavior as she steppes off the cat's tail. "Sorry." She mumbled to the cat getting yet another hiss in return.

  • "Hey sad-eyes" Rose called from sitting down on the ground, Hugo looked up from his book. His eyes harsh "Mm?", Otto smiled cheekily up at the boy "Come play with us?" Rose said with a giggle. The question set Hugo back, although he snapped out of it when he gained a small shove towards the children from Olivia. He slowly closed his book, setting it down before sitting with the youngest of the children.
Olivia turned to Isabella hearing the hiss of the old cat, she smiled before Miss Peregrine snapped her fingers gaining a quick, sudden silence from the children.
"12.34" she said clearly, almost announcing the time. Rose gasped standing up quickly and sprinting from the room. "5...4...3...2...1" Miss Peregrine counted quietly under her breath, as she got to one the doorbell went off throughout the home. Miss Peregrine gave an 'up to no good smirk' as she walked off swaying her hips. It was the bar manager, complaining about Hugo, Isabella and Olivia, from yesterday... The yesterday that hadn't happened in 74 years. Miss Peregrine usually flirted her way out of the situation, or if she was feeling particularly mischievous... Kill her way out it.

The drive was a long one to Remi's grandfather's home, an hour and a half. Luckily he had Christine to drive him, it was the usual drive. Remi would avoid all contact by scrolling through his phone. But it was then his phone began to ring, it was his grandfather. He sighed "This should be good", Christine giggled softly as he picked up.
    "Hello?"
"Remi! Where is my gun?" his grandfather sounded frantic
    "What?"
"My gun? It's not in the safe!"
    "Oh-.. Yes, dad took it"
"How the hell does he expect me to fight the monsters without a gun!?"
"Grandpa, have you taken your meds?"

    Silence...
    Beep. Beep.

  • Isabella listened to Miss Peregrine's footsteps echo throughout the hallways her curious gaze looking to her feet as she silently listened to them talk. She couldn't help but wonder what the woman would do today. Being the mischievous woman Miss Peregrine was she usually killed the man these days. Humming Isabella moved to the kitchen, throwing her teabags in the bin and moving to the sink quickly washing the cup so it wasn't in the way when she would cook dinner later. The girl sighed, tying up her hair in a messy bun, small strands of her ash brown hair perfectly framing her pale face as she walked to Olivia. Wrapping her arms around the girls waist and resting her chin on the shoulder watching the others play with hum of approval.

Isabella's lips curled up mischievously, Olivia was an attractive enough girl. She would've made a good wife if she had a chance. "Olivia. It's rather rude to stare." She purred in the girls ear with her French accent that only showed when she was feeling mischievous. The brown haired girl moved a delicate looking hand up to twirl the girls blonde hair. If Olivia wasn't so in love with Hugo or Sad Eyes as he was mostly called Isabella probably would've tried to be in a relationship with her purely out of boredom. The brown haired girl only stood at four foot and ten inches in height so most of the people here were rather tall for her liking. "Let's go for a nap together I'm tired."

  • A soft blush rose on Olivia's pale cheeks, she smiled at Isabella as she twirled her hair. Olivia knew Isabella was the flirtatious type, she loved the attention... It was more then Hugo ever gave her. A nap... That sounded so good to Olivia right now, she perked up, looking down at the slightly shorter girl "That sounds fantastic" she said with a small giggle. Hugo looked at the two girls from where he was sitting
"It's a bit early for a nap, don't you think?" he questioned
"It's never too early to nap, Hugo" Olivia murmured
"Yes, However... In approximately 4 minutes, Isabella will have to save the baby squirrel in the oak tree from plummeting to its death" Miss Peregrine interrupted. But her face went pale, and her eyes wide "Oh...No" she murmured softly "No... No" she whispered.
"What is it Miss Peregrine?" Olivia questioned, Miss Peregrine shook her head as tears streamed down her face
"William... He's dead". Olivia gasped looking to Isabella... The first boy she truly loved, the boy who left to join the army... Started a family, a family without Isabella... Was now dead.

It was dusk when Remi and Christine arrived at Remi's grandfather's house, dark and gloomy... Although tonight something seemed more off then usual. Remi sighed "I'll just check on him... then you can go" Remi said as he undid his seat buckle climbing out of Christine's four-wheel drive making his way to the front door. Three knocks.... And silence... Remi looked at Christine who was still in the car, he gestured to around the back of the house before walking in the direction of where he had pointed

The flyscreen door was torn apart, the glass of the back door smashed to shards and a trail of blood was leading out of the house. Remi gulped "Christine!!!" he yelled worriedly
    "What?"
    "Somethings happened here"

  • Isabella broke away from Olivia and smiled like nothing was wrong. "Yes, well I suppose it was always meant to happen. Nothing lasts forever out there." She shrugged, her brown hair covering her eyes as hot tears welled up in them. "I should go. The baby squirrel needs me." She said with a cough. Anyone that knew Isabella would say she was a crybaby, which was true however she never let anyone else see her tears. Each of her movements were staggered and forced as she exited the house. Despite her powers she hated any animals except cats. Why? Because she couldn't control her powers, she heard every animals thoughts that was near her. They just kept talking. She couldn't go outside for even one minute before her head started aching badly, making her want to run inside and hide away in a corner. Of course being the stubborn person she was she never told anyone, not even Miss Peregrine.

Isabella shook her head finally reaching the tree and outstretching her arms to wait for the baby squirrel. Instead of the squirrel falling into her hands it fell to the ground. That was the last straw. Isabella climbed up the tree before bursting out into tears, silently crying to herself."Nothing lasts forever." She reminded herself, wiping away her tears and climbing down the tree hissing in pain when she heard the animals thinking again. Isabella ran inside the house and up the stairs not even bothering to close the front door. She just wanted to escape the thoughts of the animals and hide in her room.

  • It was Hugo who noticed Isabella's pain, and when he found the baby squirrel dead at the bottom of the tree... He knew the news of William's death had effected her negatively. He never liked William, he thought the older boy had no place at the Home, he was normal... Seeing monsters? Ha, barely an ability... He left them, for the war, and that same day the home was bombed. His hatred for William boiled under the surface. Slowly he climbed the stairs and knocked softly on the opened door to Isabella's room. "Bella?" he said softly "Bella, are you okay?" he asked sheepishly knowing his friend was a loose canon.

When they found the body, it was destroyed almost beyond recognition and his eyes missing. The investigators blamed it on stray dogs, but there were human bite marks all over his grandfather's body. The next week... Remi began seeing things, monsters that his grandfather had described... Almost human, with tentacles... The next month, he was going to counselling every day. Until he found a letter from Miss Peregrine, the last one she had sent to his grandfather... He needed to know the real story behind his grandfather's childhood... That's how Remi ended up in Wales with his grandfather, in the only inn on the island.
"The home for peculiar children was bombed in the 40s, not a single survivor, I'm sorry mate" the bar manager explained, Remi sighed
"See I told you, this trip was a waste of time" Remi's father, Julian grunted under his breath
"But Miss Peregrine's letter was addressed this year..." Remi muttered "She's not dead".

  • Isabella sniffed wiping away her tears and placing a big smile on her faced. She slowly opened the door, her makeup ran down her face but no tears were in her eyes anymore. She stared up at Hugo for a moment or so, grabbing his wrist and dragging him into her room making sure to close the door behind her. "I'm fine, I haven't cried at all... Honest." She said obviously not realising that she had her makeup smudged all over her face. Moving to her bed she patted the space beside her as a sign for him to sit beside her. "So? Why did you come here? Do you need any help getting dressed for dinner again?" She asked with an odd teasing smile.

  • He saw the smudged makeup on the girl who denied her tears, he didn't push her and sat beside her on the bed. "I came here, because I know when you need someone to talk to... I know you loved William, a lot. Even after he left us... Started that bastardly family-... Thing is Miss Peregrine-.. I think she's going to open a time portal for his grandson, Something bad happened to William-... Something that wasn't old age. I read Miss Peregrine's mind, she thinks it has something to do with the monsters... They're back" he murmured along his words. "She wants the boy here... I know you don't, I've seen him in Miss Peregrine's thoughts... Identical to his grandfather" he sighed.

Today Remington took off early to explore the ruins of the children's home. He walked through the marsh, the large mansion growing closer and closer. Dolls, burnt and muddy lay scattered amoungst the marsh and trees. Blown away when the bomb hit. When he entered the home of rubble, there was a grandfather clock frozen on 9 o'clock. Next to it a portrait of 5 children, dressed well and appearing completely normal. Remington slowly picked it up giving it a closer look, his eye was drawn to the girl Isabella. He knew her from the stories his grandfather told him, she was beautiful. He cleared his throat and looked up as he saw a bird circling the rubble above him. Miss Peregrine could change into a bird, he made the connection silently. It had to be a coincidence, he shook the thought away and began inspecting a pocket watch on the ground.... Miss Peregrine's pocket watch.

  • Isabella pulled the younger boy close to her in a somewhat hug, gently rubbing his back as she listened to him. "I- I'm so lucky to have you lot as my family." She smiled, not even bothering to hide her French accent any more, even though her younger friend was being so kind she refused to cry in front of him. As he continued talking she shivered at the thought of the hollowgasts — humanoid, tentacle-mouthed creatures that would scare even the bravest person on earth. "Thank you for telling me this me Hugo. I'll get over myself and come downstairs in a few moments." She reached a hand out gently placing it on his cheek in a loving way, she always enjoyed Hugo's company. When he was around it felt like she had an over protective brother, which was always a nice thing. The French girl moved to her wardrobe, pulling out a white dress holding it against her body. "What do you think? Too short?" She questioned not waiting for an awnser she started striping and tugging on the dress that rested on her thighs.

  • Hugo smiled softly at Isabella watching her stand up holding a dress against her body, yes it was too short... But before he could speak she began stripping down and changing in front of him "Erm-... You're going to put stockings on with it?" he said, more telling her then suggesting. Hugo cleared his throat keeping his eyes on the ground and away from Isabella who was changing.
Suddenly time went backwards around the children, until it was night time. Hugo got to his feet "What the-" he closed his eyes beginning to read Miss Peregrine's mind
"He's near the portal... She's sending us into the 21st century to fetch him..." he said fearfully... Too long in the future, the children would die.

[Sorry for double post... Internet is bad]

  • Isabella looked towards Hugo with a nod, sensing then fearfulness in his eyes she walked up to him. She sighed giving him a quick hug. "It's okay, we'll get there safely." The girl said cupping his face and placing a gentle kiss on his forehead like she always did before the time loop was created. "As much as I want nothing more then to punch that bastard in the face, promise you'll be nice?" She asked moving towards her wardrobe and taking out white thigh high stockings like Hugo suggested. Humming Loki pulled them on before going to her wardrobe once more and pulling out a pair of shoes for herself. Isabella looked in the mirror, gasping at the old makeup running down her face. "You weren't going to tell me about this?" She squeaked, quickly fixing her makeup back to perfection. Sighing she pulled on her shoes, walking out her room and to the other children with a bright smile.

  • Hugo chuckled slightly at Isabella's realization that her makeup had been smudged "I wanted to seem as gullible as everybody else" he said raising an eyebrow. "Children!!!" Miss Peregrine's voice boomed through the house, Hugo pulled Isabella's arm as he ran down the stairs to the foyer where Miss Peregrine stood. "One.. Two.. Three.. Four...-.... Five" she counted each of the children, she nodded softly "Excellent, children the time has come. William's grandson, is here... years in the future" Miss Peregrine explained, causing excited whispers amoungst Olivia, Rose and Otto. Hugo rolled his eyes
"I've created a loop into the 21st century in the front door, you go through it... You arrive at the home, 74 years in the future... All of you are going except Otto" Miss Peregrine explained "You have 12 hours... There will be a loop at the bar, so if he is to run away at the sight of you, you will be able to catch him at the hotel..."
