God, it had been a while since he had visited his mom. He never thought that he would see her again, but he knew that he had to track her down. The devastation had been far too great.

The battle-torn clouded leopard stepped onto the RiverClan border, his gaze sweeping over the territory. He had been wandering for a while, not settling down in any clan, but he had heard and even seen the destruction of his home. It was the place where he had played with his friends Kaira and Vivian. It's where he bonded with his brother, Gabe. God, he missed him so much. He missed Kaira. They were likely dead if they weren't already.

Adam said nothing, his gaze flickering to the ground. He took a shaky breath, clenching his teeth as his heart pounded and surged with grief. He knew his mother was here. He needed to see her right away.

  • [center][fancypost=background-color:;border:0px;width:450px;text-align:justify;font-size:10pt]Adam managed a shaky breath as he saw his mother. She was still alive. She was still here. He trembled and welcomed Sylmae's embrace, his muzzle burying into her fur. Her scent was so strong compared to his, as he had no clan scent and smelled of ash and smoke from the shower of asteroids. "Mom..." The clouded leopard trembled, tears beading from his eyes. "It's all gone." Adam's voice was low. It had been almost two years since he was brought to BoneClan, or the Noblelands at the time. He had been an awkward, stubborn kit that had a knack for music. Now, he was grown. He was an adult, hardened by being on his own. He had seen too much in his lifetime to ever go back to the way he was, but that didn't mean that he forgot where he came from.

  • "I know.. sweetie I know.. Barghest survived.. he came to tell me but he wouldn't stay.. i.. wish I could have been there just one more time.." Sylmae whispered, closing her eyes as he pushed his muzzle into her fur and she attempted to pull him in tighter. Seeing her once little boy all grown up was enough to make a mom emotional. Knowing he had managed to survive something meant to kill him and all her old flatmates? Made it even worse, but she was so happy to know he was safe and sound.
