Twilight shook out her fur again. She glanced over at the trio of huskies. I wish I had a bond with someone like the one they have... she thought, trying to push down loneliness. She sniffed through the fresh-kill pile and grabbed a mouse. It was small, but good enough for just her to eat.
Zephyr was sleeping on a rock.

Legend turned to see the dog that Ruby had chosen to come with them. She nodded to him, "good morning Zeus." She added to Ruby, "good choice. You small dogs have a knack for chasing after prey." Ruby laughed and said with a teasing voice, "and you big dogs are great at clumping around in the bushes like ten bears are after you." Legend grinned, "okay then let's go. Felix/Lily/Jack – M/F/M – 5 years – Huskies – Hunters

Lily and Jack looked at Sugar as she approached, the two offering her a welcoming smile. Felix had fallen asleep again, and had rolled over on to his back, paws in the air, tucked against his chest, low rumbling snores coming from the large black-pelted husky. "Good morning, Sugar" Jack greeted, shooting Lily a mocking grin as he noticed she snapped her jaw shut, having been about to say the same but being interrupted by the silver-pelted brother. She rolled her eyes with a playful scowl and the smile returned to her face as she looked at the smaller dog once again. The three siblings had planned going out for a hunt this morning, and hadn't noticed the other dogs heading out. The real challenge was going to be waking up their brother. -
Zephyr padded over to Aspen. "Can I take out a patrol?" he asked, his black and gray tail wagging. The young blue heeler loved going outside of camp and protecting the territory.
Twilight finished her mouse and padded over to Felix, Lily, and Jack, smiling. "Hi," she said, her odd-colored eyes cheerful. The half-Husky and half-Labrador mix was eager to find friends to talk to. -

Lily turned to Twilight, opening her mouth to say something when a deep voice sounded behind her. "Morning', Twilight" Lily and Jack's head snapped behind them, staring wide-eyed at Felix, who was standing and was looking from one sibling to the other. "What? What's wrong?" Lily spoke first. "It takes us ages to wake you up, and now you're just... up! Magically??" Felix scowled and nipped at Lily's nose, sending her a 'shut up' glance. He then padded between the two and sat in front of Twilight, offering her a still rather sleepy smile, silver eyes blinking drowsily as they flickered from eye to eye briefly. He had always been fascinated by the two very different colors. "How're you today?"
The two other siblings glance at each other, shrugged and looked back at Sugar once more, Lily not able to help glancing at her brother and the half-husky a few times, expression thoughtful. Jack seemed to have let it go easily, making Lily wonder if he knew something she didn't, and was calmly awaiting Sugar's response. -

Zephyr opened his mouth in a grin. "Thanks!" he yelped, running to catch up with the others. Within a few energetic strides, he'd managed to join the hunting party. He woofed a brief greeting to the others. His short legs were strong, and he was fast and agile. Coming from a long line of cattle herders was proving its worth.
Twilight smiled at Felix. "I'm great," she said, swishing her tail a bit. "And you?" she asked, happy the handsome male had taken interest in a conversation. The half-husky glanced briefly at Jack and Lily, noting their hushed whispers. She decided to ignore it, and focus on Felix instead. He'd made a sharp comment at the two, and they'd quieted down. She stifled a chuckle, and looked back up at Felix. -

Jack and Lily shook their heads. "We're all good, no injures." Jack said, his tail swishing briefly. He noticed her discomfort and wasn't quite sure what to do of it, other than be as friendly as possible - not a hard task since the huskies, mainly Jack and Lily, were always trying to be friendly towards the others. Felix was less friendly and more protective, but once someone got to know him or befriended him, he could be very playful and pleasant to be around.
"I'm good thanks, just a tad-" Felix cut himself off with yawn, ironically. "-bit sleepy." He finished, smiling sheepishly with his ears tilting backwards for a few seconds, then perking forwards in interest once more. He got an idea, and glanced briefly at the two others before looking back at the odd-eyed husky mix. "Would you be interested in joining, or observing one of our hunts sometime?" The siblings were known for being succesful hunters and bringing back large prey, made possible by their communications and strategies. Lily was better at stealth and speed, and would be the one to sneak in on the prey and chase it towards Felix, who as the stronger one would be ready to take it down along with the assistance from Jack, although the silver-pelted husky was the one to plan out the hunt, and to track the prey with his keen sense of smell and his strategies.
They'd never invited anyone to join before, hence Jack and Lily's eyes widened and heads turning in surprise. -
Twilight laughed when Felix yawned. "I can tell!" she exclaimed good-naturedly. When she was invited to join one of their hunts, her eyes widened at the offer. Even she knew this was out of the ordinary, seeing how close the trio was to one another. She tilted her head, tongue lolling. "Absolutely," she said, "It sounds like a lot of fun!"

The english golden retriever looked over at the camp, seeing everyone engaged in some form of communication and sat down for a moment. The young hunter didn't want to interrupt any of these talks, being a tad more shy that many dogs. She perked her ears up as she watched the three huskies all talking with Twilight and Sugar. She also noted Ruby, Legend, Zeus and Zephyr gone on a hunt. The female then noticed Scout was all on his own, with a mouse in his jaws. She padded over towards him, grabbing a squirrel from the pile for herself. "Good morning Scout, would you care to join me for a quick meal?" Delilah asked, tilting her head.

The black Belgian shepherd yawned as he stood from his own small den. It was a simple hole carved into a hillside under a large old oak tree. The male stood from his spot, shaking his coat free of leaves. Stretching out his muscles, the shepherd walked out of the den, noting who was awake already. He didn't go far, instead choosing to sit down where he was and watch the camp. *open for interaction*

Lily, once she had stopped staring at Felix in surprise, stood and padded off, leaving Jack to talk to Sugar alone as that would probably make the less social dog feel more at ease. She spotted Coal off to the side, and with a small but warm smile, the brown-white furred husky approached him. "Hello, Coal. Any plans for today?" -

The black shepherd looked over at the husky. His ears pricked forward in surprise as she left her brothers to talk with him. "Not much, thinking about going out on a slow walk later. The forest is lovely at this time. Would you care to join me Lily?" He asked, tilting his head as he watched her. She'd always impressed him with how she worked well with her brothers on hunts and he'd like to know her more if she wanted the same. -

The brown-pelted husky was very surprised by his request, although it was a pleasant surprise. Her smile widened a bit as she nodded, the tip of her tail swishing ever so slightly, ears perking forwards in interest. "I'd love to join you." She replied with a dip of her head, chocolate brown hues glinting.

Felix grinned as Twilight agreed to follow along on one of their hunts, and the black-pelted husky was so relieved that she had accepted that he didn't even notice Lily walking off and going to Coal, the beta. "Excellent!" He said, smiling as he briefly shook his head to clear out an itch on the side of his neck, deeming it rude and rather embarrassing to scratch it with his hind leg when he had company, especially Twilight's. "Who have you been hunting with before from this group?" This would give the large husky an insight in how she has been hunting before, and which things were different in this case. The siblings rarely hunted with others from the group, especially not Felix as he disliked using other methods of hunting, but they did occasionally. -

Twilight tilted her head thoughtfully. "Usually I just hunt alone," she admitted, "But I've gone with Zephyr a couple times. He's faster than me, but I'm bigger and stronger. He'll flush out the prey and I'll take it down." The chocolate and cream husky mix looked at Felix again, her odd-colored eyes curious. "What about you?" she asked.

The retriever set her squirrel back before he noticed and sent up a smile to him as he set the rabbit at her paws. "Why, thank you. Let's eat over in that pine tree shade" The cream pelted dog padded over to the shade before laying down easily, the rabbit in between her paws as she looked over at Scout.

The shepherd nodded, standing to his paws before dipping his head to Lily. "Would you like to head out now?" He asked, sending a grin towards Lily before thinking of where he wanted to go on the walk. This could a chance, but he also didn't want to be too forward either.
