    Cyrus had recently had Coronet assigned to him as his buddy. Probably a good decision on Cain's part- he figured that it had been Cain who set this up- as Cyrus was possibly one of the least threatening of all the unusual creatures of the Rift. Even though he was an Alurian and further in origin from this world than most, he called this place home, and among the strange-looking members of the Rift, he didn't feel like he stood out here much more than he had back in the Arcane.


    The nyari had found an interesting place recently on one of his walks through the territory, and he was keen to show it to Coronet during their tour. He was currently waiting at the edge of the village, pink-tipped tail swishing lazily from side to side as he looked up at the clouds. It might rain later, he thought, but for now the clouds were bright and fluffy, not threatening an immediate downpour. One looked slightly like a mouse, he thought, and watched as it started to change into more of a cat-shape.
