Eh, this was a bit on the later side, but not horrendously so. Amethyst was still clinging to Sel's shoulder as she jumped up onto the barrels, and the Gemat had quickly become a familiar, comforting weight. "Sailors, meeting time." She called, carefully sitting so as not to dislodge her pet and wrapping her black tail around her paws.

  • Scrambling into a barrel laying on its side, she backtracked inside of it a few times before flopping into her stomach and positioning herself halfway out of the barrel while she waited for the meeting to begin. Her claws dug into the wood underneath her, but the barrel didn't so much as shift when she had to readjust herself several times over.

Neptuneblue hadn't been very active the past week, unfortunately, since his roleplayer had been on a school trip and had been pretty busy, but he was sure his activity would be picking up during the next week. A sigh would escape him as he stalked over, head raised and turned up to his daughter, curious as to what exactly she had to say. For now, however, he would remain silent.[fancypost=background:royalblue;height:1px;padding:0;width:450px;]

  • [center][fancypost=width: 500px; text-align: justify]Nico trotted over, his mind fuzzy in worry. He didn't know what Sel was going to do after he'd attacked a clanmate; even though both of them were drunk when it happened, it was still a serious offense. He sat down at the back of the crowd and waited for the meeting to begin, his eyes dilated and cloudy as he thought.

Well, time to get this thing rolling. "First off, welcome to Berlin. Pleasure to have you here. Next, activity: this week was pretty slow, so let's try and pick it up a bit next week." It was partially her fault - as leader she set the example for activity in the Clan and if she wasn't around because her roleplayer was busy, it wasn't surprising to see the Clan's overall activity suffering.

"There's one week left in the choice awards, which will be linked down below. The mass adoption is also going to be going up, but there's still time to put a litter in for the sign ups if you'd like. I don't think we had weekly tasks this week, so I'm going to be assigning Ryan to do them. Now as far as events go, we've been invited to DarkClan's masquerade. Lastly, the first trading parties went out so if you'd like to join in, the link will be in the summary with everything else." It sounded like a lot, but it didn't really feel like it to Sel.

"Marrowescape, if you're still here, tell me what's up with BoneClan." She'd given longer than she wanted to and she was hoping that the former co-Captain could get results. "Edward, I asked you to pick it up this week and I saw you a little, but unfortunately that's not enough, so you're demoted back down to member. You can earn your position back, of course. Xylia you're activity matched pretty well with the overall of this week so you're fine, and Nep I think I saw your notice, so you're good too. Dinky, you're promoted to Officer." Her eyes landed on Nico, and she stared at him for a long few seconds. "Nico, I feel like the only times I see you, you're pounding on a Clanmate. I got your notices so your slow replies this week are excused, however," she let the word hang in the air, drawing out the suspense. "If you want to be my apprentice, if you want to heal this Clan, I suggest you stop causing their injuries. You are my apprentice, not me. Only I may hand out punishments, so no matter how much you think someone 'deserves' fewer teeth, you are not the judge nor the executioner. This will be your only warning, if I see any more Clanmate-on-Clanmate violence, it will result in demotion to prisoner." She'd be holding everyone to that standard, and wouldn't be doing anything else that might make her crew think that it was ok to brawl out their disagreements. Being a rather violent individual herself who'd done some... less than kind things to Ryan, who was to say that she hadn't set the wrong example here? This had never been a problem in the Brotherhood, but neither Pippa nor Rome were violent and the Clan itself didn't get into much of any trouble either.

Sel released an inaudible sigh. "If there aren't any questions, meeting dismissed."

    OOC Summary:
    -Welcome to Berlin/Guts!
-Activity this week has been pretty slow which is admittedly largely my fault, as I've been quite busy and had a lot to deal with this past week which has stressed me out enough that I was struggling to post. I'll be doing my best to pick it up this week and I hope everyone else will too c:
-There's one week left in our Spring Choice Awards.
-I'll be getting the mass adoptions up soon, but there's still time to get a litter in here.
-Since we didn't have a weekly tasks last week, Sel is assigning Ryan to do them.
-We've been invited to DarkClan's Masquerade Ball.
-Trading parties were sent out to allies here.
-Sel's asking for an update on BoneClan from Marrow.
-Edward is demoted to member but can earn it back.
    -Xylia and Neptune are fine.
    -Dinky is promoted to Officer.
-Huge warning to Nico to stop fighting Clanmates as it's getting out of hand. Further Clanmate-on-Clanmate violence will lead to demotion to prisoner (from anyone). It is starting now as Sel believes she's been normalizing it, which she has vowed to stop doing.
-Unless there are any questions, that's it.

Yikes, Nico was getting scolded. Neptune chewed his lower lip, glancing towards his clanmate. He was relieved that his position was safe, he was kind of concerned about the tom. Since the panther hadn't witnessed anything in particular, he couldn't be sure, but he got the feeling that Nicotine wouldn't just outright attack anyone without having a good reason. He wondered what that reason might be. Soon enough, he was brought out of his little trance by the meeting being brought to a close, and he nodded. "Got it, kid," He didn't feel too comfortable calling her captain, since she was still his daughter- even if she outranked him.[fancypost=background:royalblue;height:1px;padding:0;width:450px;]

  • Listening somewhat carefully to each part of the meeting, her head swiveled to the side to peek further out of the barrel she was in to catch a glimpse of Dinky. "Congratulations!" She said, deciding not to comment on the fact that Edward got demoted. She didn't like hearing it, but she knew she hardly saw him around herself, which nearly brought her bouncy mind to the last time she'd seen Terra. That went out the window though at hearing Sel's warning to Nico, and somewhat to the rest of the crew as well. Not hanging around anybody in particular besides her new friend in the temple, she wasn't aware of the violence Nico had been executing on other clanmates. Since when? Her stomach churned, and she couldn't help but to try spotting Nico amongst those already gathered for the meeting. Was he ok? Who had he hurt?

  • "Aye Captian." The chihuahua barked wagging his tail at the leader, an Officer? That sounded fancy, Dinky had a few ideas and therefore was going to go bother Pyre in a little bit about them because muse.

  • [center][fancypost=width: 500px; text-align: justify]Nico listened quietly, the announcement about a new member and activity barely keeping his attention but he forced himself to focus on Sel's words. Choice awards, mass adoptions, weekly tasks; things he had no real big part in, so he didn't comment on any of it.

Edward was demoted; he felt bad for the tom, but he was sure Edward could regain his position if he decided he wanted to. Everybody else was fine, and Dinky even got promoted. He didn't say anything just yet though, since his name hadn't been mentioned.

He clenched his teeth as Sel talked, not saying anything. He knew his actions as of late had been.. Unnecessary, and frankly dumb. He'd been afraid of exile, but Sel was going easy on him. He wasn't sure if he was glad or not; he deserved to be demoted, to be thrown out with nothing but the fur on his back and a few new scars. He was starting to become a person he hated, the type of person he'd silently vowed to destroy. Still, the static in the back of his mind didn't disperse; the hazy, dull dizziness that'd been sticking to his mind like oil didn't leave or even give an inch. Some small part of him wanted to get mad, to roar with anger that they'd deserved it; he was judge, jury and executioner.

That part of him disgusted him.

"I understand, Sel. It won't happen again." Nico said, quiet resolve in his voice that his mind chipped away at the moment he spoke. He was bruised and bloodied from his fight with the wolf, but nothing serious and nothing he couldn't take care of; still, he could feel the stinging of his injuries become more pronounced as people stared at him.

"Congratulations, Dinky." Nico chirped, trying to not focus too heavily on the scolding or else he feared he'd explode again.
