    --     Water. Earth. Fire. Air. Long ago, the four nations lived together in harmony. Then, everything changed when the Fire Nation attacked. Only the Avatar, master of all four elements, could stop them, but when the world needed him most, he vanished. A hundred years passed and my brother and I discovered the new Avatar. And although his firebending skills are great, he has a lot to learn before he's ready to save anyone. But I believe he can save the world.
    About The Thread
    --     Hi! Now I know what you're thinking, but yes. The Avatar is a firebender! We're going to pretend that Aang, Katara, Prince Zuko, and all the other characters from the Anime are not existant! Airvenders are not extinct, but they are not as populus as the other tribes.. They are hiding away in the Southern Earth Kingdom, pretending to be earthbenders. The firebender Avatar lives in the Northern Water Tribe. He was adopted by a soldier and trained to be one too. He discovered his powers at a young age, and kept them secret from his adopted parents. So, the whole tribe believes him to be a nonbender.



    Rules
    --     Typical feral front rules apply. Mild powerplaying is allowed. Curse words are allowed. Characters ages rang from 15-17. Use Avatar The Last Airbender style pictures. If you already have a character in the main group, you cannot be the Avatar as well.

    Regarding Airbenders:
    Oh that's what I forgot to write down. No, there is a small group alive in the Eastern Earth Village. They're pretending to be earthbenders, but they do go back to their Temples eventually!

    -History: Takumi Ryuu started out with a generally loving and semi-wealthy family composed of a; hardworking and usually very busy father, a traditional and talented mother, an older brother who would soon be in the war, and a younger free-spirited sister. Despite being a mute (it is suspected he quit speaking after a bolt of lightning nearly hit him), after learning sign language and grasping a kind of way for others to interpret him who did not know sign language, it did not seem as big an issue. Unfortunately much of the well being of the family was thrown downhill after Takumi's brother's death putting the household through a bout of grief. It was Takumi who performed a optimistic and cheerful attitude in the hopes to sway his family out of sadness and despair. And for the most part it worked, but the father had much doubt in Takumi's ability to be harsh and "strong" when he needed him to be despite his talents. His father made sure his days were filled with constant training and other activities requiring discipline. However this was starting to drain Takumi of his own happiness, not being able to play with his sister or interact with his family much anymore.


    Takumi at about 13 now in this point of his background is on his way home after a horrendous day in class; his teacher teaching the ability to bend lightning. However Takumi hates lightning, and as he always did when lightning was taught, refused to attempt to practice it despite having the capability. WIP

    This is a random plot/concept idea I'm just gonna throw out here,what if there were two avatars for the current cycle,like one controlled fire and water,while the other controlled earth and air,and they had to meet each other if the both wanted to master all four elements,thus,setting everything in motion.

    ooooh. I like that! The opposite of Fire would be Air, so the other Avatar would have to control air first.


    And yes, just as long as it's nothing too, you know... That doesn't seam to fit.
