"I've skimmed through one of them but it didn't have too much to help us." Samuel said, sliding away one book entitled 'What the heart wants' Turns out it was mostly just a love story, not that he was complaining.

Anna was moving to pick up one of the others as he'd say that, as well as a quick glance at the one he slid away. But soon enough she would have her eyes skimming over the one she picked up for a moment or two.
-
The book Anna had picked up seemed to be about emotions mostly from the title: 'Not just chemicals to us' Samuel noted how unoriginal a couple of the titles sounded. Weird, usually titles seemed to have more thought put into them than that.
-
"Aren't titles usually more... original...?" Anna would murmur a little absentmindedly and to herself as she'd take of this as well before actually opening the book.
-
Samuel shrugged, as Anna opened the book. He never said the library had good books. After the first few pages, which were just credits to sources and other authors, the book started on the topic of emotions and how they effected the human psyche.
-
Anna wouldn't really put what she was reading into much thought - as this was really just a brief look at the book, to check whether it had a good source of info or not.
-
The book did seem surprisingly informative about almost every emotion, especially strong ones like love. It explained how love felt to people and why it was such a wonderful emotion. Samuel twitched slightly when his eyes skimmed over that part, he'd have to take the book's word for it.
-
Anna's smile would have dropped slightly as she'd get to that part, though allowed her eyes to keep skimming the page. She'd give a small hum before she glanced up at him. "Yeah, this one could definitely be helpful." She stated as she would smile again.
-
"Yeah, it's practically the only thing we would need for a report like ours. I'll make sure to cite any evidence we use, copyright lawsuits aren't fun." Samuel joked slightly on the last sentence, nodding at Anna's comment. He gave her a smile back, hopefully she hadn't seen him twitch earlier. That would be embarrassing, he hated doing that.
-
"Definitely not." Anna would murmur in return. Not that she'd ever had to deal with one before, but she knew it couldn't be any fun. Luckily, she hadn't seen him twitch, too engrossed in the book before - but now her gaze would flicker back to him.
-
"I know that one should have some good information for us but I don't know about this one." Samuel thought out loud, picking up the third book and inspecting it. The rest of Anna's current book was mostly about other emotions however there was one sentence at the end of the love section. 'A new love could be right in front of you right now~'
-
Anna's eyes would glaze over the last sentence, pressing her lips together. Maybe there was. Would be her only thought on it as she glanced up at him while he spoke about the third book.
-
"'A Night's Sovereign Heart, poems for pleasure.'" Samuel read off from the first page of the book. "Could be interesting I guess." He muttered, not noticing Anna's glance or anything new about her book. Some of there were actually pretty good, a bit comedic in nature too. He lightly hummed to himself as he skimmed over the stanzas.
-
Anna's gaze would remain on him a few moments, a smile hitting her features again. Once taking notice of what she was doing, she looked back down at the book in her lap quietly as she'd read over some of it again.
-
Some other parts of the book involved finding the right partner for a relationship, it started with the classic 'It's what's on the inside that counts' sort of vibe. Mostly that part was about how to spot and get out of abusive relationships. Early signs were everywhere. Samuel noted some of the names of the poems he found interesting as he read.
-
Anna would give a slight huff as she read through all of this. It was something they could note for their paper at least, not something she really found the want to read though.
-
Thankfully that section eventually left to finding new love, one of the first points was that friends could be potential partners. "Hey Anna, this book is actually really neat. Some of these poems are very interesting." Samuel said after a moment.
-
Anna would give a small him at first in acknowledgement, eyes skimming the current page with the potential partners before she would look back up at him, instead putting it to the side - after marking her page somehow - and leaning over somewhat to let her own gaze look over it.
-
Samuel shifted a bit so Anna could see the book easier. The current poem was about how a man's wife passed away and he believed that she had been turned into nature itself. It ended with him sitting on a cliff and waiting for his wife's response to all his actions to contact her.
-
Anna read over it, it was definitely interesting, that was for sure. Perhaps it could be hinted at, used a little in their project - it certainly had a bit of that 'love' theme in there.
