The day seemed to start off like any other day. Waking up and getting dressed to teach class with younger students. He taught middle school, and it was still a grade where the kids had to stay in the classroom and not switch around like other older kids. Jack stumbled down the stairs and sulked to the bathroom to take a quick shower. He still had enough time to pass while his son was sleeping. So he went down after his shower and got himself a bite to eat. When the time came, he went up the stairs and awoke his son, Sam. "Get up, youngster. It's time for school," he hummed, nudging the smaller boy until he awoke. When he was up, he led him down the stairs and gave him some pop tarts. "Today's going to be a fun day! We're having a little party, remember?" He grinned lightly. Since they were still young, he always gave them free time to talk with their friends and have fun. But when they had to be serious and do work, things always pulled through. Guess he was just that good of a teacher.
Tim found himself waking up from the alarm he had set. A soft yawn left his lips, and he rubbed his eyes slightly. Today was another day of school, yet Mr. McLoughlin had something planned today. He didn't know if it was exciting and fun or not, he would have to find out. Climbing out of bed, he stumbled down the stairs and noticed his father was awake. He never seemed content, especially after his mother died. He shuffled down and settled by his side. "Dad, can you drive me up to school? I really don't want to take the bus today," he said. A soft smile forming on his lips, hoping to get his father to do such. He's been searching for someone to make his father happy, but everyone that he comes into contact with never seems to make him feel better. "Mr. McLoughlin has something exciting planned for us today. At least that's what I heard from everyone else. I like him a lot, he's a really good teacher!" He said. Before realizing that parents had to meet with teachers tonight. "Oh! I almost forgot! We have a meeting with the teacher, you'll like him a lot. He's nice," he said. Hoping his father'll go. Especially since Mr. McLoughlin is handing out extra credit to the students who's parents went to the meeting.

The sound of someone passing by caused Mark's gaze to fall unto Tim trying to have a soft smile. The feeling of depression was slowly taking a toll on the poor man but he wouldn't ever allow Tim to see "Yea, I'll drove you to school today, and think about going to meet your teacher" Speaking softly before getting up from where'd been sitting, Alot had changed during the past months but they'd gotten through it. "Go finish getting ready then we'll head out so to get you to school"Looking over at Tim before heading into the kitchen, grabbing the coffee he'd made earlier. Which ment same was alone in the entry way room that leads out to the front door...for the time being at least.
While eating the poptart Sam smiled a little as parties were always usually the best time during school. Yea he didn't have all that many friends but there were some he'd always end up speaking and talking to. "Do you think everyone's gonna show up?" Sam himself was quite soft spoken, unlike how his father was. Usually he wouldn't cause much noise or anything along those lines, some children in the class found it odd on how different he was from his Dad. Standing up while finishing one last piece of the poptart, knowing as well that He'd be there meeting everyone's elses parents later tonight...since it was a parent teacher conference thing. No one was in trouble the achool just set planned dates for them..and one was later tonight. -
Tim frowned lightly as his father spoke about thinking about going to the conference. "But I really want extra credit. And I need you to make friends. You're always so unhappy! Maybe you'll make a friend!" He said, hoping that his danger would agree to that. He really hated seeing his father so upset, and wanted him to get better. Tim was about to say something else, but sighed and walked off toward his room so he could get dressed. Upon entering his room, he pulled on something quickly and gathered up his things. Running down the stairs and stumbling for the door. Making sure to not forget his shoes, something he would do a lot.
Jack blinked his eyes lightly as his son spoke about something. "Well, it is a slack off day. So I don't expect everyone to come in. Guess they just miss out on all the fun we get to have," he stated. Taking a small sip of coffee, something he had made while Sam was eating at the pop tart. "I also expect all of the parents to come in, it'd be nice to tell them about their child," he added. Reaching a hand up to run through his green hair, before settling back in a seat that was close to him. "Get ready, I'll start the car and wait for you out there. Don't forget about anything," he said. He always drove Sam to school with him, since he seemed to enjoy the time with his father. Standing up, he finished his coffee quickly and wandered out to the car. Climbing in and starting it, sitting back to wait for Sam. -
Mark shook his head watching Tim as he ran off before stepping out the door, Yes it was true that he was unhappy but really it didn't feel right to mope around. "Ok, Tim lets make a little agreement.. Your good today in school and I'll go to the conference" Looking back once they made it into the car befpre moving as they could start the car by placing the key into ignition. Clearly this agreement would happen..since Tim wouldn't allow Mark to somehow avoid these terms nor would he. They did had some distance to travel to get to the school anyway.
Sam went into his room grabbing the bag he had usually brought along to school full of books ad other things. Pulling on a hoodie before grabbing his shoes, climbing into the car after finishing and shutting the front door. Climbing into one seat with a yawn still just a little tired, but once they got their and his friends came in then same would become actually quite hyper active which once aganist was a difference. Opening the bag and pulling out a book setting it onto his lap, and opening the book to a page. Beginning to draw something that seemed to need all of the boys attention. -
Tim looked up toward his father as he started to speak. "Good! I'll be good today. And besides, in Mr. McLoughlins class there is a party. So today we get to have fun and play games," he beamed. Absolutely stoked about the idea of eating a few treats and playing with his friends. He shifted back and sat in the car, waiting patiently as they drove off to school. His gaze lifted once they started to pull into the school, wondering if his father was going to meet his teacher. After climbing out, he noticed Sam climbing out, along with his father. "Dad, look! There's Mr. McLoughlin!" He pointed.
Driving to school, he stayed silent and allowed his son to do what he had to do. Upon pulling into the school, he made a notion that they were there. Slipping out of the car, he could see Tim. And another man who stepped out of the car who came from the vehicle the little boy flew out of. He chuckled and looked down toward the boy, "nice to see you today. I'm sure you're quite excited for today," he hummed. Before lifting his gaze up to greet the man. "I assume you're his father, correct? I'm Sean McLoughlin, but most call me Jack," he said. Holding out a hand for the father to shake. -
Mark's gaze followed once Tim left ths car before following behind him stopping only to be greeted by another man. Putting on a smile hearing that was Mr. McLoughlin the one teaching his son. Reaching out to shake hands just trying to mae a positive first interaction..after all it wouldn't exactly be well to let off a bad impression "Mark Fischbach" Noticing the slight height difference but hadn't said anything about it "Nice to meet you finally" He wasn't so good at keeping a discussion going for the time being.
Sam had climbed out following his dad closley behind before looking up towards the man that had been dwindling behind Tim, not really saying anything besides waving his hand and greeting Tim like they usually did in the morning. It was a little weird seeing Tim's dad since he hadn't even actually met the guy, Although he didn't seem nice but that was a grown-up thing. "That's your dad..?" Questioning Tim while watching the interaction going on for a little bit, before looking back over as if wanting to go and get ready for the party. -
"It is great to meet you as well. I'm glad I get to meet the parent of this amazing student. He is truly one of my best, you should be proud of that," he praised. Glancing down toward Tim and Sam, noticing his own son was eager to get going into the classroom. A soft grin tugged at the edge of his lips, and he motioned them toward the school. "How about you two go have fun inside. There are a few items sitting out, think you can pass those out for me?" He asked. Sam would always do things for him, and Tim help as well every now and then. Upon watching them race off, he glanced back over toward Mark. "I'm eager to tell you all that your son had accomplished tonight. In hopes that you would be there at least," he said. Shifting in his heels as he kept his blue eyes trained on brown ones, showing his interest and focus.
Tim raced after Sam, opening the door and getting inside the school. "Yeah, that's my dad. Sorry if he's a bit off... He's just upset about loosing my mom. I don't know how to make him happy again, he doesn't have anyone like he used to," he frowned. His father couldn't showering anyone with affection like he used to with his mother. He would usually mope and keep to himself. Tim glanced back through the door, watching the two parents. A interested glint in his eyes as he stood there silently. "My dad does look interested. Then again, maybe he's just confused by your dad's accent?" He questioned. Shifting back to follow Sam into the classroom. Maybe his dad may get along with Mr. McLoughlin, and things would be looking better. -
"I wasn't really thinking of stopping by to the conferences today.." Yes he would keep the promise to Tim, putting on a smile "But..I promised Tim, I'd come along today..It was nice meeting you Jack" This was the closest to a goodbye that he'd give for the time, looking past to where the two kids had ran into the school before turning away and heading back to his car. Quite a blunt endingto their conversation but nothing could be done as of now, They'd more then likely speak during the conferences, which he'd listen just like becore seeing it was an intrwsting interaction. Sam looked back once they were in the classroom "Maybe my dad can help yours by being his friend" That seemed like something good as it also ment they could hang out and play together more, reaching up onto a tableto pull something aupplies that had been left put.. placing them out among the desks, counters, and tables.
